I'm only 9 days late, but I've never actually had sex. I am just worried about all the other weird things that can happen on accident like him touching himself then touching me. But when I think about it, I cannot think of a time when that has happened. I am just one of those people that thinks "it will happen to me." Do you guys think I have anything to worry about?

Yes...you should wait, unless you feel any signs of pregnancy. Coming off birth control can really mess you up. It messed my periods up when i stopped taking it.

Melissa, I think what it is, it is that you are stressing about the situation, I did the same thing stressing over that fact that we had intercourse but he did not ejaculate. Take a pregnancy test and if it comes back negative you have nothing to worry about. Relax and it will come

Wether a hpt comes up positive early depends on the sensitivity of the test. There are plenty of test strips that can test hCG (the hormone that says your preggers) in very small quantities - 20 mIU. Alot of store-bought brands can only test 50-100 mIU. The smaller the number, the more sensitive the test. They sell sensitive test strips at www.babyhopes.com

I am late for my period. My last period was October 19th. I usually have a 5 day period. I am never late. I always have a 21 waiting period, before the next period comes. Do you think I should take a pregnancy test now?

Michelle, depending on how many days you are late you can find a hpt that can detect the HCG, I really trust ept, try taking one and see what happends. If negative go see a doctor. Remember stress can also trigger a late period.

Hi im 2 and a half weeks late and my last period was on 15th Oct Did a hpt 5 days ago neg. Went to Drs bt he said he thinks i could be and to do another test! Im not sure what do you ladies think??? Any advice would be brilliant

Waiting 2 weeks is probably a good idea. I went off the pill back in April and my body was all out of whack. Not only was my period 2 weeks late, but even after that I had something like hot flashes and the shakes for a couple of months, then everything subsided. My period was normal again and those "hot flashes" and the shakes went away. However, recently I've been late again, this time 8 & 1/2 weeks late and this time it's coupled with pregnancy symptoms, but my HPTs have all been neg. Waiting and then going to the doctor is a good idea!

i'm in the exact same position, and i don't know what to do either, the thing is i never had sex, so i don't know if i'm being paranoid or not, but if i were u i'd take a test, cause u can still do another one later,i hope all goes well for u, and me as i'm only 14, and i don't want a baby!! good luck

My situation is exactly the same, my last period was on the 16 Oct, now 2 and half weeks late. Went to drs and he said it sounds like I am preg, waiting on urine test result now. I have taken many HPT all neg. Been off the pill for 3 mnths now. What symptoms do you have? I was feeling extremely tired headaches cramping slight nausea a week ago nothing now so I feel like I am not preg now, not sure if my mind is playing tricks.

Glad I am not the only one - came off pill month ago, period over a week late. Husband & I are trying for baby, but home test negative. Wish I knew one way or the other - am I pregnant or not! If not where has my period gone!?

V and Laura. I am in the same boat as you. My last period was Oct. 19 and it seems like forever since I have had AF. All HPTs show up negative. I am usually pretty regular. I have to wait to go to the dr. on Monday. I can hardly stand the wait! That is still 6 days away. I am now on cd50 and that is just not normal to me!!! Thanks for listening!
