I've been wondering about this "periods during pregnancy" as well. The last couple months I have 2 "regular" periods (w/ bleeding) but they were very short (just 1-2 days of bleeding). And that is unusual for me.

My symptoms are....heavy, very very sore breasts, Montgomery's tubercles are enlarged (those lil bumps around the nipples), darkened areolas, tingling nipples, went from size D to DD, nausea, constipation, heartburn, gassy, and that "feeling" in my pelvis (kind of bloaty, pulling, cramping) and it feels hard just above my pubic bone.

I've taken 4 or 5 pregnancy tests and they've been negative. I've had 3-4 people on occassion just out of the blue say I looked pregnant and asked me if I was pregnant. Go figure.

Hi, I am at day 38 in my cycle, and still no period. I have done 6 urine tests at home and all negative except for one which had a faint line come up outside of the testing time. But that has happened with that particular brand with my last pregnancy.

I had a blood test done at day 36 and it came back negative. I know something isn't right and the latest I have had my periods is day 33, but normally I have a 28 day cycle. I am seing the doctor tomorrow and I will find out what is going on.

i am 12 weeks late i have had 4 urine test all neg. 1 blood test it was negative. i have gained 10lb. in the past 6 weeks my belly is swollen right below my belly button. i an very tired all the time and nauses. someone told me it was possible to go through a pregnancy and not test positive at all or test positive at 2,3,4,5,exc.months. does anyone know about this . is it really possible. the doctor won't run an ultrasound to check and see if everything is ok.he just wants me to take progetorine. if anyone has any advice please post it thank u.

I haven't had my period since the beginning of Sept. I am now a week late for my 2nd period. 2 out of 4 HPTs were - and 2 were faintly pos. Blood test was neg. I have an extremely sore sensitive, veiny chest,that began just 2 wks ago. That is when all symptoms began. I saw my doc.today and she thinks lab error my have occured, I am to do another blood test one week today. Lab error?? I certainly feel pregnant.

Hey ladies, Im kindof going through the same thing. I have no children, but ive been pregnant before. You just have a feeling inside. I was due for my period on the 3rd of November I got it on the 4th, there was brownish spotting that lasted for a day. The next day I got something like a period, it was real light lasted only two days and it was brown/red. I took about 4 pregnancy tests and all came back negative. I know I am pregnant, I have all the symptoms...cramping, tiredness, sore breasts, and so on. I am going to go for a blood test tomorrow and see what comes out of it. I am so glad I came to this site, now I know im not alone. Thanks

Tricia, I know what you mean I've been having pregnancy symptoms for the past month now but my tests say negative.But I woke up this morning with I was sure it was morning sickness..I went for an aultrasound wanting to know what was going on..My period wasn't normal at all, I bleed alot but then it completly stopped...but a week before my period I had headaches, then started peeing alot, was really tired for the 3 weeks to the point I could not get out of bed, My breast are really tender now I even have big blue veines that appear right to my nipple, I had period like feeling foe almost a month now but my test prove negative...Then I woke up this morning sick I feel pregnant..I got my tubes(clamped) 5 years ago I don't understand whats going on..I need some questions...Help me

what are th signs of pegnancy

my signs are - pee all the time, tender breasts, headaches, period like cramps and lower back pain that come and go, nausiated all times of the day, blue veins appear on your nipples, always wanting to sleep, swelling, bloating, and constipation

I am so relieved to run across everyones comments. I missed my period completely this month and for the past 4 months, i have had only 1 day of light bleeding each time, i feel flutters, occasional nausea and dizziness. I have been pregnant before and could swear I am again. My doctor is refusing to keep testing me and probably think I am crazy, since all urine and blood tests are negative. what am i supposed to do? I dont want to go the entire pregnancy only to find out all along i was. I feel so much better that others understand how frustrating this is! Ladies, lets try and stay encouraged.

I have a similar problem. Last few months I have felt sick with vomiting, dizziness, have no energy and sleep all the time. My breasts hurt and are bigger, my stomach has had a pulling/dragging feeling in the muscles at the side and I am incredibly tender there and slightly swollen. But again I have had periods although they are nothing like they are normally, especially the last one which was 2 days of spotting then a bit heavier but still nowhere near normal. I took a urine test and it said negative but now I dont know what to do, any ideas?

yea, all this stuff are happenin to me, i didnt get my blodd test yet, but i took the urine test n came out negative, n i have all the symptoms, n im scared that i am n not able to take care of my baby till its too late. so wat r u guys sayin that i might b pregnant? man thank u guys so much for this cuz i thought i was the only one, n just bein paranoyd about it.

its me again, but i just wanted to explain bout my situation a little better. im 17 n ive been on depo shot for the last 2 months. i had sex with condoms n just like two or three times with out it. n all of a sudden i start havin all this symptoms: headaches, dissyness, nausea, tenderness of the breast n theyr also gettin bigger, but i have my period n like one day its alot, the next day nothin at all n then again all over. i took my urine test but it came out neg. i have all the symptoms. i heard that u can get pregnant n not knowin it because the baby is developin in the fallopian tube. i took the test that is been offer in this site, n it said that i might 5 weeks pregnant. after readin everyones story, makes me just think that im pregnant, can neone tell me wat i should do, or if i am pregnant. ive been pregnant before thats y i knw how it feels to b pregnant. so yea just want to get some answers so i can start takin care of myself as soon as possible. thank u so much. god bless

Well I sure don't have any answers to some of these questions! I need answers myself! My hubby and I started trying about 2 months ago to get preg. Since I got off the pill several months ago I have had normal 28 day cycles until this month. I am only about 2 days late with my period and I really do not feel like I am about to start. I have had some very mild cramps a few days ago and yesterday for about 3-5 min each time a few times during the day. My lower back aches a little but other that a headache yesterday no other symptoms. No bleeding. Since I began my period when I was 13 I have had nothing but regular periods you can set your clock by me every 28days. So what is the deal? I have tried two preg test ( the kind you are supposed to be able to tell like 5 days sooner) and they were both neg. I even went for a blood test the first day I missed my period and it was neg. To soon to tell?? I have heard SO many different things, like you have to wait 2 weeks after you miss your period for a blood or urine test to register or you can tell 7-10 days before you are supposed to start your period with a blood test! HELP! Any right answers out there! I really want to be pregnant ( our first) by Christmastime when we go home to see our family. I have tried ovulation kits but they did not seem to register very well! Let me know ASAP! Thanks!

Hey I am 4 months late, feel like i did when i found out the first time i was pregnant, and gety morning sickness, putting wight on and my stomach is starttening to tighten..... both the pee and blood test said negative..but i still think i am pregnant...and not sure if i should get another test done because my family thinks i am imagining it

So, I went to the Dr’s today to get my blood test and with the instance of them another urine test... I should know something in a couple days.... But I have to tell u about the visit... This was only my 2nd time seeing my new Dr, so she’s never done a full check up that we all have to do.... So she’s like why do you think your preg? Well, let me think um maybe because I had unprotected sex... Looks at when I last had my period.. I couldn’t remember my start date but I knew about that day I ended it (Sep 29) Well, I don’t think your preg but we can do a test if you want to... Umm yeah I want to still do a blood test just to be sure.... And that was it!!!!! She didn’t ask me how I was feeling or anything... Even if I'm not preg I haven’t had a period in 3 weeks you would think she might want to make sure that nothing is wrong with me.... I'm so looking for a new Dr... What do you all think?

I don't understand how a blood test can turn out negative then positive. I guess we should be asking for an HCG test or ultrasound since none of these tests work.
