Lisa, I actually wondered if it had to do with immunization/vaccines that we got as children. It seems to be that women under a certain age.. like under the age of 40 are having more problems in discovering their pregnancies than women who were older. I often thought about the American diet and if we're ingesting so much BGH or genetically modified foods that it has reconfigured our physiology. There's definitely a problem if hundreds of women can't figure out whether or not they are pregnant for weeks at a time!!

That said has anyone who has been waiting for their periods over two months tried a fetal heart monitor to detect? It's the only other avenue that makes sense.. to put our minds at ease.

SugarPie, very good point. I hadn't thought about that. I go back to the doc in 2 weeks for the results of more of my blood work. She thinks it could be my thyroid (I still hope they will find I'm pregnant). I know it is a LONG short. But... I will talk to her about your thoughts. There has got to be an answer.

Just wanted to add my two cents...

During my first pregnancy with my son I had no symptoms whatsoever and had 2 "normal" lasting periods that were a little later than usual but were exactly the same days apart from each other too. After the second "period" when the time came for my period (I thought) nothing... I waited a bit longer, took a urine test and I was pregnant. Then I went to have an u/s and I was ...surprise 3 days into month 5!! Now I haven't had a period since November and all I have felt was some heartburn, tiredness and...movement in my belly but I still test negative. I am going on Wednesday to have an u/s anyway.

i would like to know as well becoz i feel movments and kickes but my pregnancy test cam out negatve i also hvae a doppler but i dont know if the sounds r my own or a babys i am also to embarrassed to go to the doctors

Well im glade in not the only one having freaky things going on with my body. ive taken 3 pregancy tests and they have all came back negitive but i have all the symptoms.my last period was very very very weird.But cant get into the doctor until the 28th and its driving me crazy. i already have one child so i know what it feels like to be pregnant. If im not pregnant then i have no clue what the deal is.

I am so glad to have found this forum, I too am a bit confused, in dec i had sex and for some reason, intuition or whatever you wanna call it, i just feel that i may be pregnant, my period came in january but it was only for four days, i normally have heavy periods which last for about 6-7 days, this one was weird, and this month (feb) i am 10 days late, I am experiencing differences in my vaginal secretions and i feel tired all the time, i never thought i was pregnant until i had a weird dream in the middle of the night that someone touched me right on my abdomen and the feeling stayed with me for a whole week ( i have always had intuative or precognative dreams, long story) so i guess i am confused, should i listen to my gut, i took 2 hpt which came out neg, but somethings up with me, i don't feel the same and i've never been this late, help before i drive myself insane.

Aretousa, this is an incredible story that gives me hope. i test -ve all the time, but my belly is growing and i feel quickening in my lower belly, ive seent the doc who does not really take me seriously, i should let it go but i have this nagging feeling .I don't know what to do anymore...i have kids i know what it feels like to feel the baby's first quickening. It's carzy And its driving me mad !

hi, i am shanna swift i have been having pregnancy symptoms so strongly that i am possitive i am pregnant. i have two kids already and every symptom matches up. except for one thing. i started bleeding 2 days before i expected my period and i am going on to 4 1/2 days of it, but its not normal. its just mostly spotting and i will go a half a day bfore i bleed at all. but when ever i get stressed or caught up into some kind of high activity, i will feel a gush come out but then thats all. i have read up on micarriages but one thing is my pregnancy symptoms are increasing. nauseated all day, beyond fatigued, heart burn, huge breasts red sircle around the nipple along with white looking pimple bumps and painful! i am also very tender in the pelvis area. i am so miserable. i just want to know whats going on?

i have to mention i have gone to the dr. for a blood test on friday. but i ma driving myself inisane with my thoughts while waiting. i guess i am mostly worried.

I am having the same problem. I am almost three weeks late now. 4 negative HPTs and 1 negative blood test. I feel so nauseous, and tired all the time. I feel like I have cramps and that I might start but then nothing. I am so frustrated. I just want to know one way or the other. I guess from reading all these replies that it is possible to be pregnant and have countless negative results.

well, my blood test came out negative. i balled my eyes out this morning and have gone through emotions of wanting to die. not because im not pregnant yet, but because i am so sick. like pregnancy sick. i am not bleeding anymore. i am frustrated! i would be ok, if i didnt feel sick, i would move on with my life! i am more than ready to. but i am sick!what do i do? is there any body who has not only gone through this, but actually found out they were pregnant? im too aftraid to take anything like acid reducers for my hearty burn. just in case? i dont know what to do.

I know the pain you're going through.. right now I feel like I've been doing a million sit-ups. The only thing I know to stop the sickness is take calcium. I started downing gallons of orange juice and taking calcium citrate (two a day). I couldn't take the pain.. and somewhere I read that the pregnancy symptoms "pain" subside when taking the calcium. That has happened for me, but it hasn't worked on my stomach muscles that's for sure. I hope this helps!!!!

hey girls.. the lat time i had my period was on dec 28 now its feb 17 and still no sign of my period.. now i took like 4 htp test 2 clear blue and 2 first respones and also went to the clinc and all came back negitive, i still havent taken the blood test yet because all the pee ones were negitive.. i dont have any of the signs maybe a little bit of abtomal pain thats about it and bloated which can mean iam gonna get my rag soon, but its never this late and it feels like its never going to come.. so i dont know what to think if iam pregnate or not,,, i want to know because when i go out i like to have acouple of drinks and i dont want to be partying if iam pregnate soooo i just wish this could all be solved.. but i thank all of u for writting your stories made me feel better and know theres other people out there with this problem,,, oh yeah my friend is pregante and she had a dream that she killed someone,, she said that mean that someone she knows is pregnate sooo that also kinda scared me lol even though it is just a stupied dream,, but who knows but anyways thanks girls and i will write back and let you all know what was the problem .....

Sopmetimes its just amind thing when it comes to a person actually feeling like they are pregnanat but if all of the test are coming out to be negative then maybe you should consider an ultra sound because in some cases it can be a tumor or something.

I have had 3 positive HPT's and a negative blood test. I am anxious to hear from the people who have ran into this. Were you pregnant??

I am a woman that has had 2 children within the last 3 years and with BOTH of them I didn't get a positive until I missed 4 ( yes count them 4 periods).Which means I was way more than 30 or 40 Days late with both of my kids. My mom didn't get a positive with me until she was 13 weeks. Every woman's body is different ladies.
