Hello ladies, I too am 4 days late with 3 negative HPT. Going to the dr this aft to do a bt (fingers crossed). Haven't had many symptoms, just headaches and sore breasts. I'll keep you posted re the bt. Thanks for sharing your experiences-- it's extremely helpful : O )

I think I am pregnant too. I skipped my last period and have all the symptoms except sore breasts. All my home tests came back negative. The dr. took blood today,could that still come back a positive? Also she think I may have an ovarion cyst. Will that make things harder to get pregnant? Thanks!!

i am four days late on period. home tests negative........and took blood test today and it was neg. can blood test be wrong? it was qualitative, not quantitative, so i'm hoping it was wrong. anyone ever had a wrong blood test???

i was always regular with my periods.i took 3 hpt's all neg. finally after 3o days late i got my period today. why this happened to me? any help? i really want to conceive

It seems like i was just irregular this month as well, i just got my period:(((

After 3 months of trying to figure out what is wrong with me, the doc finally did an ultrasound and my cervix is so narrow due to scar tissue the blood cannot come out: Cervical Stenosis. I am in pain a lot, and my surgery isn't until November 19th. Sigh.

I'm 5 days late and my breast have been really tender now for a while which is strange because they never are at all, plus the past three days I've been nauseus in the mornings, and lately my taste and smells have been doing overtime. Also it seems like my temperature was funny a couple of days for no reason. But I've taken 2 home tests and both were negative. I'm only 20 and have never been pregnant, so I dont know what to think. My period is never late and my breasts are never sensitive like this. What should I do?? I really feel pregnant and after reading all these posts i'm more confused than ever.

hello forum, I recently switch birth control methods i was taking the pill before recently switching to the patch. I'm pretty regular on my periods but now I'm about 12 days late and its driving me crazy!!! I read some where that not having a period while taking birth control is ok, but I took a pregnancy test anyways and it was negative. I dont feel pregnant and i dont show any major signs that i am although i get wet spots and i think its my period but it isn't. should i try and test again?

Well ladies...
I finally have an answer to my problem, that is i had to switch doctors to have this figured out. My old dr. did a test on my thyroid and it came back that everything was fine. As you can tell in my previous postings i was frustrated w/ my dr. Well i went and got a new dr. and guess what he found out..You got it, I have a thyroid problem. Some of the symptoms of this is missing your period, tiredness, depression, weak brittle nails, hair loss, cold all the time, moody, sore back, sore joints, sore muscles...i could keep going..well i am still not preg..but finally someone has found out why my period is late. So, just remember that even though you have had your dr. for ever like me (9 yrs) sometimes getting a second opinion is the best thing to do. My new dr. did blood test and said with taking this new medication and swimming (i love it) i should have no problems trying to conceive. Exercising was something i hated before but he has given me hope and i have had 1, one hour appointment with him to do this. I want to wish everyone the best of luck. One last piece of info....women are at more of a risk at thyroid problems whether it be hypothyroid or hyperthyroid. I am overweight because of this. 13 million people go undetected for this disease. Hello! I am now 3 days late. I took a HPT last night and this morning. Both were negative! My AF is also like clock work. I'm never late! I also spot really light a few days before I actually start w/the heavy stuff. Well, nothing at all yet. My breasts usually stop hurting a day before I start too. I'm 3 days late and boy are they sore. Very sensitive. I've been keeping track of my temp the last week too. For a few days last week it was about 99.1, then dropped to 89, then it dropped again this morning to about 88.7. I know before you AF it drops really low. That hasn't happened yet. This is really frustrating! I told my husband if I don't have AF by Tuesday, a DR.'s appt is in order.

I am also having this problem I am 20 days late. Have taken 3 hpt and negative. My mom had the same problem, she had 3 kids and it would not come out in her urine. My first baby I got a really light line with the hpt, but my mom says that what happened to her might be happing to her.

jersey_girl, sometimes when you switch bc pill, it takes a while to get your period, but you should still go get a blood test, they are the most accurate. Blood test can tell if you are pregnant about onlhy 3 days after conception

I am feeling a lot less anxious knowing that so many others are going through this. We have been ttc #2 for nearly 5 years. I have NEVER been more than 4 days late and this month I am 11 days late. I have been having feeling as though my period is about to start ever since it was due - but nothing. Did 1 hpt 2 days ago - negative. Been having flu like symptoms today and have had small brown discharge. Was starting to panic that I might have an ectopic pregnancy. Not sure what to do next. Good luck to you all.

Those tests are a joke. I wouldn't waste your money. I was two months pregnant and had taken about ten tests all coming out negative. I finally went to planned parenthood and got a positive test. Two weeks later I had a miscarriage. I wish that I would have known sooner so that I could have taken care of myself better. I would go to a doctor definately.

liz, when you went to planned parenthood was it a blood or urine? I am asking because I went to a womens center and it was urine, and it was negative.

I am now 6 days late. Did a hpt this morning and I think I may have seen a faint line. I did a bt on Friday and will get results today. (the urine test on at the dr's was negative). Here's hoping. Will let you all know later this aft. : 0 )
