Hello everyone. I am in the exact boat as some of you as well. I have stage 4 endo and I had my 4th surgery in July. They didn't give us a very big chance of pregnancy. However, I am now 9 days late. I have really tender breasts, I'm sick all the time, I have heartburn that is outrageous. I was just curious if anyone else has any of this going on or has endo also. I have taken 2 tests now and both are negative, but the first that I took was a clear blue that had a very faint line I was thinking that it was my imagination actually. Hii i am piya,i am totally confused... i had some bleeding proms for past few months later did ultra sound and found i had a cyst, i was on medication, later did another ultasound cyst was gone after that periods were normal , now my periods r late for 20 days. it was supposed to come 18 of october, i had slight spotting that time,no other symptoms...i did urine test all negative, one blood test 2 weeks before that too negative but i feel im coz i never missed any cycles, does any body had proms like this, please reply

I was in exactly the same situation as you. I had four negative tests, a negative blood test and then a week later did another preg test and got a very faint line.. I waited another 3 days and did another test and i am definately pregnant. I suggest that you do another test..

I did a pregnancy test (first response) when my period was one week late and it came back negative. I read this message board and tried again one week later (this morning) and got a positive. But I don't have a single symptom other than being two weeks late? I will make an appointment for a blood test to be sure . . .

WELL LADIES,
I last responded on Oct. 26th. I have not had a period since Aug. 24th. I had 3 blood test and about 8 hpt. Everything came out negative. I got a new obgyn and he starts running test on polycystic(?) ovaries to see if I have cysts on my ovaries. He did this test on November 9th. He says, " Well everything looks fine. The main thing that has been keeping your period is that YOUR PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started crying so hard. I finally had an answer as to why my body was being so off. I just wanted to tell you girls. I wish each and everyone of you the best of luck and don't give up. God belss you all.

Congrats Meranda! How far along are you? Did your Dr offer any explanation for why all those tests were negative?

GIRLS...!! i did an other test this morning and it's finally positive... not too excited as just had a mc but i'm hoping the best... for all of us :o)

MERANDA girl, congrats! i am in the same shoes as you. my last period was on the 19th of september and i took two home pregnancy tests and one in a pharmacy and all came out negative. my gp however recomended an ultrasound due to a suspected cyst on one of my fallopian tubes only to be told by the doctor that there is a possibility that i am in the early stage of pregnancy. i saw the screen and there was this tiny dot in my womb. though its rather early to conclude, i am taking my prenatal vitamins and keeping my fingers crossed. i pray for the best for all of us!

like many of you here i am in the same boat playing the dreaded waiting game. lmp was 27th of september was due again 27th of october no show though. on the 8th of november i tested mid morning and got instant negative result. next day i tested from first urine of morning and it went negative a few hours later i came back and there was a faint positive. thing is with my third son i got that same result came back 12 hours later to see a faint positive and found later through docs i was pregnant with third son. upon seeing with this current possible pregnancy that i had a faint line made doctors appointment went to doctors she did urine test and it came up negative. she sent me for blood tests and the blood tests came back negative as well but i am sure she just did the yes or no blood test. so now here i sit having symptoms of naussea, headaches, eating more than i usually do sore breasts on and off discharge that i don't usually get at this time. constipation which i don't get cause i have no gould bladder so usualyy i don't have a prob in that area. boobs have increased in size and starting to think maybe it is my own imagination running away with me. will be doing anohter urine test on 27th of next month when period is usually due. will keep you posted

Confused, I am now 12 days late and three pregnancy test later tells me I'm not preg. I don't know what to do. My cycles are pretty reg. avg. from 33-35 days...I'm on day 46 with no period and a neg. result. I am as you say so confused. Should a take another pregnancy test at two weeks late? When do I consult a doctor?

Hey Pink. I think you really need to see a doctor, but make sure you get a quantitive blood test and not just a qualitive test.

i haen't had my period. it's been 5 months and no period, i had a preg. test and it was neg. please help!!!!!

Michelle, I spoke to my husband and we've agreed that if my this wednesday which will be two weeks late if I don't get my period I will me heading to my doctor for a blood test. Can you tell me what the differencances are between a quantitive blood test and a qualitive btest?

Hey Pink. that sounds like a good idea. A qualitive blood tes just basically says if your pregnant or not pregnant, it has about the same accuracy as a urine test. But a quantitive test shows how much hcg ( the pregnancy hormone ) is. Its alot more accurate, some people liek to take both kinds of tests to make sure, but i suggest just getting the quantitive test. Good Luck!!!

Hello...new to the board but been reading for days...I hope someone can help me. I had my 2nd son about a yr ago and since have had my period every month between the 5th-7th.I have never been that regualr so this was great for me! However this past month, when I was supposed to get my period on the 5th,6th,or 7th-NOTHING! I took 4 hpts and all were negative between then and now. I felt tired, a little heartburn and burping a lot, that gooey discharge. I really thought I might be pregnant again. However this afternoon my period came-and it's not light brown or pink, it's a regular period. So of course I'm disappointed but also confused. We've decided to try for another child and I thought it would be fairly easy to calculate ovulation because of my regular periods but now I don't know what to do!! If I always get my periods between the 5-7th of every month and this month I got it on the 14th then how long was my cycle?? And what dates do I go by in order to figure out ovulation? I tried one of those ovulation calculators but they all want to know how long my cycle is...I'm not sure the answer. Can anyone help me? I guess I need an ovulation expert!! Basically I need to know when hubby and I should try again. I wish lots of luck to everyone trying...it's a very stressful time I know! All the waiting makes ya nuts!
