Wow, I can't believe there are so many of us going through the same thing...
Before I found this I was starting to think I was going crazy... I'm now 2 weeks late... I've taken a few HPT, but they have all come out neg... My breasts are almost always hurting, and my veins are more operant on them... I'm getting headaches all the time... I'm always thirsty, but even after dirking my lips and mouth still feel dry... I have to pee all the time, but then again as much as I'm drinking... though for the life of me I can’t have a BM to save my life... that started just about the time my period was due.. I was getting sharp cramps and I thought my period was going to start, but it turned out to be I had to have a BM, and when I do have one it’s only a small one... Is that normal? I'm also beyond tired all the time... by the time I get home from work I'm ready for bed... Then today when I was at the store I saw baby things, and I almost started to cry... My friend keeps telling me this is all in my head, and at this point I don’t know what to think... I'm going to see my Dr Thursday for a blood test... I hope to know something for sure by then... I wish the best for you all....

i too tested after my period was 5 days late and got a negive result ,i tested after seven days late then 10 days ,still negative ,i have no morning sickness but sore boobs and gassy feeling in my tummy ,i went to doctor yesterday at 13 days late and its positive,so dont give up good luck

I am now 27 days late, I have taken 3 tests and they have all been negative... If I do not get my period this month I am going to go to the doctors office and take blood tests.
There is a medication which can induce your period if you are not pregnant. Check it out if that is the case...

Hi, Merand. I had a miscarriage three months ago, it's blighted ovaum. Now my husband and I start to try again. After reading your message I think it's necessary to test the progesterone level at very early pregnancy stage. My qestion is: Do you need to have the blood drawn for that test before breakfast? Because I read an article said progsterone level is different before or after eating. since you have done that, Can I ask your suggestion? Thanks.

Well I have never heard of that before. My blood work was drawn at 3:30pm and it showed low progestrone, so i'm not sure you need to necessarily need your blood work done first thing in the morning. However, if you want to remain consistant that might be a good idea. I do all of my dr. appointments in the late afternoon due to my work schedule. I would ask your dr. your question. I'm learning that rather than stress about something just ask the dr.s office. If it is a good office they don't mind the calls, it's your babies life so they expect questions. Well, I called my OB's office yesterday to get a blood test scheduled and he said I should wait another week, then test again, and THEN come in for a blood test. UGH! Now I have to wait a whole week more! I'll be 15 days late, then.

Thanks Merand. I am not pregnant yet, but when it comes, I will ask for a progesterone test and ask if the time of blood drawn matters. Thanks again.

It is so nice to hear that I am not the only one going through this. I am now 7 days late and no period. My husband and I have been trying since May to get pregnant. I am usually 28 days to the T, even after my miscarriage in Aug I went right back to 28 days. The only times I have been late is when I was pregnant. Anyways I have taken several HPTs and they were all negative. I am having an increased amount of discharge and I have had dizzispells, increased urine frequency and been really gassy. I hope it is good news for me.

Britt when you talk about your situation it's like you are talking about me, it's crazy!! My last period was Sept 29th and I am now 15 days late I took a pregnancy test 30 minutes ago and it come out neg. I would continue testing once a week and then try and sch. another blood test as soon as possible. I haven't gone to the doctor yet but I think I'm going to wait some more as I think I make have ovulated later. well see in a few more weeks. It's going to feel like an eternity but I'm going to try and be patient for once in my life. Well good luck!! And I hope everything turns out well for you. By the way this has been my 5th hpt that's come out neg. So who knows!! Well keep me posted.

So, I went to the Dr’s today to get my blood test and with the instance of them another urine test... I should know something in a couple days.... But I have to tell u about the visit... This was only my 2nd time seeing my new Dr, so she’s never done a full check up that we all have to do.... So she’s like why do you think your preg? Well, let me think um maybe because I had unprotected sex... Looks at when I last had my period.. I couldn’t remember my start date but I knew about that day I ended it (Sep 29) Well, I don’t think your preg but we can do a test if you want to... Umm yeah I want to still do a blood test just to be sure.... And that was it!!!!! She didn’t ask me how I was feeling or anything... Even if I'm not preg I haven’t had a period in 3 weeks you would think she might want to make sure that nothing is wrong with me.... I'm so looking for a new Dr... What do you all think?

Pink, Hey. I am so glad you responded to me. I have been gowing through this for so long. My husband and I have been married for a year and decided to start trying, so the first day I was dying to know. I did so many HPT that came out negative it was a bit discouraging. As soon as I got the positive I was freaking out, so I did another and it was positve. I coulnd'nt believe it when the blood test came back negative I never heard of such a thing. Have you? I have an appointment on December 2nd for an internal examine and an ultra sound so I will definetly keep you posted. Best of luck to you. And as for the HPT I did them once a week, every monday morning and finally got a positive so stay hopefull. Try not to test to close it is a waste of money and energy.

Well, Britt, me and my husband have been married for two yrs. We've been TTC for about six months now it's so fustrating since my sisters both got preg. there first month of TTC. But I've only missed a period one time since I've had my period and that was when I was 11 yr old. So something strange is going on with my body...I really don't have any preg. sym. I know that doesn't really mean anything but I have to say my boobies, they aren't really sore, but they are larger then normal..looks like a got a boob job. But I'm just going to take it one day at a time and please keep me posted. Have you had any preg. sym?? So as of right now the dr. is saying you aren't preg?

Pink, as for the symptoms, I have a some. I have nausea, no vomiting, very tired, heightened sense of smell, and a missed period of course. The only thing I even questioned was that i did not have tender breast which is a major symptom, BUT they were growing what feels like an inch a minute. About a week ago Me and my husband started to notice that my boobs got HUGE. Now a week later they are starting to be tender. So I wouldn't doubt that will happen to you. I just recently started a lot of my symptoms though. My last period was Sept. 26th. Yours was the 29th so we are like the same exact situation, that is so weird. Thank god I found someone with the same problem though I thought I was going Nuts. I am pretty sure the Dr. is thinking what I am thinking because they sent me a packet asking me all these questions to fill out before I go. It was addresed to my name of course but it also said expecting patient. It was all about me AND the baby's father and there are all these list in it like what I should and shouldn't be taking and doing. So I am guessing that they think I am. I can't wait to get this ultra sound. And hopefully we both find out some good news. Anything I find out I will let you know. Please do the same.

hi ladies ok i was due for my period on the 9 on the 15 i went to the bathroom and when i wipe i saw a little bit of brown blood till the 18 but know its not my period because it was only when i wipe my self today i did a pregnancy and it was negative i dont know what to think ive been pee alot and i have some cramping and my boobs are not sore but they feel differetnt please help

Wow. I hope all of you get the result you want. I would definitely see your doctor for a blood test. Ijust thought Id add my two cents worth anyway. I missed two periods and did about 6 HPT's - all negative. So I started the birth control my doctor prescribed me. When it was time to take the sugar pills, instead of having a red period it was brown and light. So I did a pregnancy test. It came out faint positive. I thought "nah this is wrong I cant be over 2 months!" so I did another one and a faint positive again.I did another test the day afterwards and the result went positive then disappeared in a matter of seconds. One weird test that was! Anyway I waitied another week, and positive again. All were faint positives. In total I've had 4 faint positives so far. I asked my Mum could she see a second line and even my grandmother on one account! - and they could both make out a second pinkish line. Very faint. So I'm guessing there all positive. Then I started to bleed. Brown again and light. I had no pains whatsoever. No period cramps. Nothing. Just the brown bleeding which turned slightly red then stopped. Then started again on the second day, was brown and pinkish red and stopped again. That I think must of been a freak period of some kind. Even though I last had a bleed 9 days ago from the birth control pill. I tested while I was bleeding with clearblue and it came up negative. I actually thought I might of been having a miscarriage then I told myself the tests were all wrong. So I did another test 2 days ago - it was a faint positive again. I've been to my doctor and did a urine pregnancy test. I'm guessing it will come back negative since they measure a high amount of HCG. The doctor point blank refussed to give me a blood test. But if the urine test comes back negative on Wednesday, I'm going to do another HPT. If that is till faintly positive, I'm calling my GYN and going to pester him! Its what their for after all, lol. I have all the symptoms of being pregnant. My tummy feels bloated, rounder and hard underneath my belly button. I have a line going from my belly button to my pubic area, veins on my breasts and my nipples are tender. I think my boobs have gone harder too. They look different. I cant put my finger on what way they look different but they do. So dont give up ladies. Listen to your body. If you think your pregnant, keep testing. If that fails call your GYN and speak to him or her or annoy your doctor until he gives you a Quantitative blood test. More accurate than the other blood test. :o)

Well Britt it sounds like you might be getting what you've been wanting for a long time now. As for me no period yet but I did take a saliva test yesterday to see if I was ovluating and it came out positive. So I'm thinking that I'm not pregnant. Because how could I be ovulating if I'm pregnant. I think I must have just skipped a month of something or maybe the saliva test was not accurate but who knows. I haven't taken any hpt since Wednesday and I don't plan on taking another hpt until at least another week. So I really don't know!! I'm so confused!! But please let me know how things turn out for you. I really hope you are pregnant!!!
