Good to hear that many of us are having the same problem. I am 2 days late and have been trying to conceive for 3 months. I also went off the pill 3 months ago and have had 2 regular periods up until now. I toook a PG test yesterday and it was negative. I don;t really have too many symptoms exept for discharge. Any thoughts of what may be going on? I feel silly going to my doctor because he said that I have to be patient until I can get the pill out of my system. I think it should be out by now..any advice??

just got back feom the lab. i gave in a got a blood test even though the hpt were negative. hopefully they will let me know by the end of the day!

Hello everyone, I have a problem and wanted to know if anyone had a clue. Here we go! I'm on CD 39. I have taken 2 HPTs and 1 Blood Test - all negative. Now the doctor wants me to take progestrone to induce my cycle. I went thru the same thing with my first pregnancy after taking clomid and found out on CD 40 that I was indeed pregnant. What effect could the progestrone have on me/my baby if indeed I am pregnant. In addition I thought that progestrone was supposed to help a woman sustain a pregnancy -(I had a friend who had to use it from Ovulation to week 13 of her pregnancy) Any knowledge out there?

My husband and I are now TTC. I stopped my BC and had a period. 32 days later I had another period. So I figured my cycle is 32 days, right? Well, now its been 54 days since my last period. 8 neg. pregnancy tests later and I go visit my gyno. She tells me that pregnancy test are very accurate and that I am probably not pregnant. She also does a finger exam and says it doesn't feel like I am pregnant. She prescribes medication to bring on my period. But I am afraid to take it. She did not give me a blood test or anything. Any advice?

I havent had my period in 4 months, i been getting the negative sign and have been taking the home pregnancy test serveral times.. What is going on with me? I am usually irregular with having my periods, usually i dont go this far for 4 months.. usually skips a month and a half. Has this happen to anyone before. let me know thanxs!

My period is now 16 days late. I've had many signs of pregnancy, yet still have neg test results!! I am bloated, have sore breasts, increased discharge, my husband says I am very moody, urinating a lot, etc...The day my period was due I spotted one time when I wiped, and have had no bleeding since. I have had one test that showed a slight pos. which my husband even saw, so I wasn’t imagining it. Although I have taken a test after that one that showed neg. Anyone have the same thing happen?

You may have miscalculated when your period was due, or you might be just late like I was last month. (which happens to me rarely). Even sometimes dueing stress you can even miss a period completely. Id say give it at LEAST 2 more days or go and see your gp and get an internal and or a blood test which is more accurate then a urine anyhow. Goodluck!!

Hi all, it's been 8.5 weeks now since my last period. I didn't have any symptoms at all though but so confused now as to why my period has not started. I have taken about 5 HPT and all came back negatives. I'll have an appointment with an OB/GYN next monday...I hope I can persuade him to do a quantitative blood test. For those of you that did the sonogram, is it really safe to have it done in my case? I'm worried that it may harm the baby if I'm indeed pregnant.

Well I'm 2wks late and I started bleeding last night around 11 but this morning there was little on my tampon...Its very weird..I dont keep up with my period like i should but i know i'm never this late in the month...I have taken like 7 pg test and all came back negative....I have had alot of white discharge but not any other signs i'm really confused....If my period dosent get heavier and more regular i'm gonna go to the dr......

I can't believe I have found a site that shows these hpt are a load of rubbish - I ovulated this cycle on day 18 - had implantation bleeding on day 27,28 and 29 - temps stayed elevated and now on day 47 - taken two hpt's both negative - they both turned positive hours later but you're supposed to ignore that!! - My boobs are enourmous, tummy is swelling and morning sickness is a real pain in the butt - I had this with my first (12 weeks for a positive) second was confirmed by scan at 8 weeks and third was 9 weeks - I have had three miscarriages with which I got positive results 2 days after my period was due - I don't think us ladies should pay much notice to these hpt's - they are getting extremley rich off our misery!!!! - Will keep you posted in the New Year - but I expect by the mid of Jan my pregnancy will be confirmed.

Hey! I'm new but I really need advice. My periods are ofen irregular but never more than 39days. After 40 days I did a hpt and it was negative. Another week has passed and I did another, it was also negative. Could I be pregnant?

Well ladies, I told you I will keep you posted, so I am holding to the promise. I finally went to the doctor after a week late. They took blood for a test. That night, I went home waiting anxiously for my results. But, I didnt have to wait 24 hours for the news. My "Visitor" came before I went to bed that night. I get a call the next day from the doctor confirming my disappointment. Well hey, at least my hubby and I can have fun trying again. Good luck to you girls and Happy New Year!

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the pill out of your system? I have been off for three months and had two periods up until now. I am three days late for my period but I also used an ovulator prediction kit and it didn;t show that I ovulated this month? I have taken 2 PG tests and both were negative. I;m starting to get nervous and a little stir crazy. Please give me your advice. Thx.

A little over a year ago I had my tubes tied. My last period was during the first week and a half of November. Before my tubal I was on the depo shot. And ever since the shot wore off I seemed to be very regular with my periods. I took a hpt and it came up negitive. Should I wait a little longer and test again or see my doctor?

i think i might be pregnant, my period missed and i am having these symptoms my tommy and back hurts, i also feel as if something is above my vagina and it is pulling. i went to the bathroom and try to push it out of my vagina and i saw some blood came out. i am wondering if my blood is clod?

I've read it can take up to six months for the pill to completely come out of your system. It can take a while for your periods to return to normal. It took me 6 weeks for my "normal" periods to return. Now I'm 8 days late this month - now - is this because I've come off pill and my periods haven't returned to their normal cycle yet, or am I pregnant? The wait is agonising! Tested negative on the 27th - I'm going to wait until next Friday to test again, and then I'm going to the doctor if it's negative. It's really hard to know what to do for the best. I've got really sore breasts, crampy feelings, sickness last thing at night and quite a lot of discharge. Surely I wouldn't have this if I was about to come on? I wish I had more patience!
