I've read it can take up to six months for the pill to completely come out of your system. It can take a while for your periods to return to normal. It took me 6 weeks for my "normal" periods to return. Now I'm 8 days late this month - now - is this because I've come off pill and my periods haven't returned to their normal cycle yet, or am I pregnant? The wait is agonising! Tested negative on the 27th - I'm going to wait until next Friday to test again, and then I'm going to the doctor if it's negative. It's really hard to know what to do for the best. I've got really sore breasts, crampy feelings, sickness last thing at night and quite a lot of discharge. Surely I wouldn't have this if I was about to come on? I wish I had more patience!

I just found this site and am very excited to get your feedback. The first day of my last perios was November 15. I got married on November 20 and we have not used anything to prevent pregnancy. I started a light spotting on December 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10. After doing soem research it sounded to me like Implantation Bleeding. I wetnt ot the Quick Care during this time and he said my urine test was negative and it was probably stress. He was really of no help whatsoever. Anyway, I jusat started a little spotting again on December 25, 27, 28, 29 and today. I have taken more pregancy tests than I care to admit too. I am waiting for my insurance to kick in as of tomorrow to go to a Doctor. On starts to think they are crazy!. My tummy is hard, experienced greater sleepiness back in November but I easily can go to sleep, breasts are larger and tender, changes in appetite....get teh picture?! Anyone have an opinion? I'd liek to think I;m not crazy.

I am still taking the pill, however, I am having several signs of pregnancy. My stomache is bloated, but different than usual. I am eating all the time. Mood swings are unbearable, even for me and I'm having these weird little twitchings in my stomach. I've gotten several sharp pains in my back. I was supposed to start my period today but there is no sign of it. Is it too early to take a pregnancy test?

my period is very irregular. I had 2 periods back to back one the end of oct. the other around Nov.4. Then i had one Dec. 2. I haven't seen one yet. I need some advice.... What do you think I should do?

I dono ive had the same problem but i dont want to buy a home test because im just afraid it will just say no and all i did was spent money on a test that i could have got on food. I have all the signs that you just said but one thing is differnt on me down in my lower stomich where the baby is suppose to be last night i keep feeling like something wiggleing or doing like flips , and i felt it through the night off and on and im feeling it right now its really cool but i dono if im preg or if something is wrong with me . im 17 years old and im engagged.

I've been having pretty strong pregnancy symtoms, but have had many neg hpt and 2 neg quantive blood tests. My first baby is almost 1 now, and I haven't had a period yet since as I have been breastfeeding her. But I have reduced the feeds in the last couple of months gradually, so I expect I should have started ovulating by now. I really have been on an emotional roller-coster lately. I've been 99% positive that I'm pregnant (cause I have heaps of symptoms - morning sickness at first, mega bloating, dizzyness when I don't eat, tiredness), then I get the blood test results back and am devastated. I haven't done a test for nearly a week now, so I might try again tomorrow. I reckon I could have conceived on Dec 5th (we were on holiday!!), and that would make me appox 6 weeks. I had one neg blood test with my first, but it didn't take this long. I just want to know! Does anyone know of anyone conceiving without getting a period post birth?

My period is 14 days late and I took a ept pregnacy test last week and it came back negative am I pregnant

My period is 5 days late which has never happened before, I'm usually early if anything. I have no symptoms of getting my period. But I have these weird cramps that are different than period cramps, i'm tired all the time and i can't stop peeing. I've taken 3 hpt so far and they all came back negative. If i don't get my period soon i'm gonna hafta go to the dr. could the hpt be wrong? could i be pregnant?

My period 8.5 weeks late. I have ALOT of pregnancy symptoms including : dizziness , headaches, clear vaginal discharge, cramping like my period is coming, frequent urination, and fatigue. All HPT's have come back negative. I assume that a HPT would have come up positive by now if I was PG. But I have a friend that claims neither of her pregnancies showed up on an HPT until she was in her second trimester. Have any of you ever heard of this happening?

Im three weeks late... i have taken two test and they have come out negative. I guess i will wait one more week then go to the doc. The thing is..My periods are not irregular. I experience some symptoms of pg but it its barley noticable. I looked on the net to see the sypmtoms of pg and it says that not all women get them... im a so confused. some of you have had blood tests and it still came out negative.. i dont know how i would handle that ... id probably have an anxiety attack. Im very impaient about reslults. Im glad their are others like me. let me know what happens...

It's so good to find someone in the same boat as me.

My period is now 10 days late, I've been having periods since I was ten and last month and the previous month I was about 4 days late and now I'm 10 days late.

I've taken 3 hpt over the last two weeks and all negative. I've had all the symptoms, nausea (all day) weeing all the time, moody and snappy and funny feelings in the left hand side of my tummy.

I'm going to make an appointment tomorrow with the doctor.

I am going through the same thing. I'm 9 days late and have taken a couple of HPT both of which were negative. I went to the clinic today for a blood test and it was negative too. It was a qualitative test. I've never been this late in my life except for when I was pregnant with my daughter. I've been off the pill for 4 months and my husband and I started trying last month. Is it possible that I am pregnant but it's taking a while to register? I found out real quick with my daughter. I'm not under any unusual stress or circumstances now. This is really weird.

Yeah the same thing is happening to me, my period was a week late and now it's on and I have felt nausea and fatigue, it's unusual because I have never been late bfore and me and my husband have been trying to conceive. Can you get a period with pregnancy?

i took a pregnancy test and when i was at the hospital they did blood work and both were negative but that was a week before i was due and im now 2 days late and its always on time.im always tired and hungry and im sick in the morning is that a sign or no?

Hi girls, this is my story. My last period was Nov.20,2004 and I have not seen any sign of it coming yet, I took my third hpt this morning and it was negative, I have a seven year old daughter and I feel very pregnant. I call the doctor today and I have to go for a check up next wednesday Jan.12 , my husband and I want a baby and been trying for 3 months. Any comments?
