Brandy I know exactly what you are going through, except I'm a single parent with 3 kids already. I have a boyfriend but he doesn't live here with me. I had my tubes tied in sept. 2003 and my last period was nov. 8 2004. I have taken sereral tests all comming up negative. yesterday had some nausea and almost vomited and headaches. It's just driving me nuts not knowing what is wrong with me. my dr. told me not to worry, and if I go 3 months with no period to make an appt. keep me up to date on whats going on with you and I will do the same.

Thanks Melanie..I will definately keep you posted. All I wish is that I would either get a positive result or start my period!!! Either way atleaste I would know. By reading on this site I have seen that several people that are as late as I am do end up being pregnant. I wonder why the tests work so good for some and not at all for others.

I had protected sex back in december and i believe i have irregular periods, but its me 42 day since my last period. I have been drink more water, eating better and excersing more. do you think i may be pregnant?

Realding all of your stories is makingme think that maybe I am not crazy after all. My last AF was on Nov 7. I have taken several hpt and all negative - and then Monday I had a blood test - again it was negative. It is hard to convince myself that I am not pregnant when I have a gut feeling - and symptoms (tender abdomen, crampy, white nonsmelling discharge, etc) YIKES!!!! The dr gave me provera to make me start - but I am having a difficult time taking it - and haven't as of yet! I hope and pray for all of us that we find some closure soon - before we all just go plain nuts! Best to you all and God Bless! I went to the doc this morn to get the results of all of my tests, and they told me that I had a cyst to rupture of my left ovary. So they did a pap and gave me a pain shot and took me off of work for two days. Both, the urine and the blood, pregnancy tests came up negative as did the UTI test. All my signs and symptons were due to this cyst rupturing, even my breasts being sore. I am so sad because I really thought they would come back and tell me I'm pregnant. Maybe soon I will be. I am scheduled to see my gyno in a couple of weeks and then a fertilist doc. So, wish me luck....GOOD LUCK to the rest of you gals...and Congrats to those who have succeeded.....

Fun times... it's been 18 days and still no period. One thing, I have researched. A sign of a tumor on your pituitary gland is absent periods, lactating breasts, etc. I say the word tumor and it could bring to mind the worst ideas, but they are actually quite common. I read somewhere that Dr.'s now believe 20% of the population could have them, but they just go undiagnosed. They can be treated medically or removed easily by surgery. They can cause infertility in women until they are removed sometimes. Anyway, I don't have lactating breasts or anything, but I'm still going to have it checked out. Maybe that's the culprit for the missed period since the two hpt test have come back (-). Joanne, it's great you've found the root of the problem. Once you get that resolved, it's on to pregnancy you go! : )

OK MY QUESTION IS ARE THE SYPTOMS OF A CYST THE SAME AS PREGENCY......AND CAN A CYST CUZ YOU NOT TO HAVE KIDS. ANY MORE ...THE REASON WHY I AM ASKING IS BECAUSE BOTH MY BLOOD AND URINE CAME OUT NEGATIVE WHEN I WENT TO THE ER.....BUT I WONT KNOW FOR SURE MY PERIOD COMES ON THE 26 OF JAN...BUT I HAVE ALL THE SYMPTONS.....COULD IT BE A CYST

Well I got my results back from the doc, and it is negative as well. He also checked for thyroid problems and some other stuff, and everything is OK. He said there was no reason why my period should be this late. I am now 30 days late. My doc wants me to see him again in a month if my AF still doesnt show. That seems like a really long time to wait when it comes to something like this. Am i crazy? Or should i try seeing him again sooner? I really want a baby!!!

Well, I talked to my doctor today...but nothing is any clearer as of yet. I asked him to be straight forward and to tell me whether or not he has seen this before (pregnancy symptoms but negative tests). He said yes and also said that he has seen them turn into healthy full-term pregnancies. He also informed me not to become anxious about it because it can have a negative impact. So there's the good news...kinda...I could be pregnant. Here's the rest...he told me that it could also be a ovarian cyst. He did confirm that they can cause you to miss your period and have pregnancy symptoms (nausea & missed period). Regardless...I don't have time to get in for an ultrasound until the middle of next week so he will repeat blood work monday morning (I will fill you in on the results) and then we will schedule an ultrasound at that time (no matter if it's positive or negative). It's weird because sometimes I wish that my period would start so that the waiting would be over and then other times I hope that it doesn't start (keeps my hopes up that I may be prego). I am 7 days late and but this is my first month that I have been off the pill so I am thinking that is why, because I feel crampy like I am going to start but just haven't started. Also I have alot of discharge and noramlly my chest hurts so badly when I am going to be on my period but it doesn't hurt at all now. Took a test yesterday day 6 of the missed period and it came out negative. Any thoughts????? They would help a ton :) good luck to everyone!!

Hey everyone, I just made another doc appt. Has anyone's nausea worsened? It used to be barable, but now this morning I was running to the bathroom to vomit. I dont know. maybe I have a stomach virus, but since Xmas?? This is crazy.

I am too am seven days late. My last AF was 12/09/04. I was on dep for two years and got my last shot in Feb of 04. So did not get injection in May of 04. My period started normal right after. I have been getting my period like clock work every 28-30 days since. My husband and I have been ttc since may. I took two answer test and got a BFN on both that was when I was 5 days late. Going to wait until Monday and take another one. Good luck too all of you

I am in the same shoes. I spotted a few days before my period and then stopped and never got a period. I am on the pill but don't take it too well. I'm married and my husband and I were kind of excited about the thought of it. My boobs are HUGE, and to answer KIMMIE's question. Yes, I had mild queesyness up untill the day before my expected period. That would mean that I was about a week and a half preg. The day before my period though I was up ALL night throwing up. I NEVER throw up. My husband and I went first thing to the gyno just knowing he would tell me I was preg. They did a blood test and a urine test and both were NEG. We were crushed but talked about when to start trying and went on with our lives. But the symptoms never went away and keep getting progressively worse except the nausea which has become bareable again except when I don't eat. I got a second opinion and she said that I could definately be preg. it just might take time to show on anything. I have a gut feeling I am but I don't want to turn out like those women that had to wait months before they showed a positive, my gyno and my husband will committ me for insanity before 3 more months :-) Good luck to everyone...

I am going thought the same thing as you and I read that you should wait 3 days after the first test to take another if still no period and negative go to the doctor

Ahhh-Finally! My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years. As of today I am 49 days into my cycle - about 3 weeks late. I have taken 4 tests - all negative. It's so frustrating. I took those ovulation predictor tests and they confirmed that I was ovulating when I thought, but still negatives. What are the chances of being pregnant, but something being wrong with the baby. Would tha explain the hormone levels not being high enough?
