Kimmie, same has happened with me. My breast aren't tender like they were, but my nipples are sensitive. I also have been having a lot of back pain especially at night when I lay down. On top of that...I always feel "full" that's the best way I can describe it...kinda like being bloated all the time. My next blood test is monday morning which my results will come back the same day (good luck on yours). 13 days late today and I'm beginning to think that maybe I'm crazy too. (Maybe we can join the same insane asylum)! ;-) Blue Jay...CONGRATS!!! Awesome news and continued good luck for the rest of you!

Denise-- Let me know how everything goes. I hear that a lot of tests dont come back until 5-6 weeks pregnant. So maybe we are not crazy...if not....I'll see ya there. :) haha hope everything works out.

Ok...I am new at this...obviously..lol If my last AF started on 12-4-04, how far along should I be? I was expecting it around 1-1-05 but still nothing.

Confused- I think we are all in the same boat. Just hang in there and be patient. I am going to make a Dr's appt. for sometime next week, let me know how all of your appts go and I will keep you updated with mine.

I'm so glad I found this site. I'm going through a similar situation. Before I started the BCP I was regular (28 days). My husband and I decided to start a family so I stopped the pill. My period has not being normal since. Now it's every 31 to 33 days. I'm 5 days late so I tried hpt but it was negative....I also had blood work done because of my change in cycle and they said I might have trouble ovulating...

Jaci-In answer to your question...well I guess that it would depend who you ask. Most obgyn's figure your due date approximately 40weeks from the first day of your last period. This would put you at exactly 6 weeks pregnant as of today. Other obgyn's go by the approximate day that you ovulate (about 14 days before your expected period)...so I guess it depends on who you see. The chart that my obgyn uses goes by first day of your last period.

Well, I am now 39 days late and still negative hpt. this is really getting me upset because if I'm not pregnant where is my period. I don't mind if I'm not pregnant after all I did have my tubes tied I just want to know why my period hs been gone for so long.

I took another hpt on Saturday but still negative. Thanks for the info Denise!! I guess I need to re-read the book, "All about AF" cuz I missed that one when I was born.. :o)

hi-as my name suggests im 17. i had sex for the first time wiv my boyfriend 3 weeks b4 xmas(which was the day after myperiod finished) and the condom split-i panicked but didnt kno wot to do, i spoke to my friend and i took the mornin after pill 3 days later(jus in the 78hour limit). i had some spottin which was normal apparently. i took a test 3 weeks later and it was negative-i was v relieved.-but stupidly i had unprotectedsex a few days after that(27th december)-all still within one cycle. now im 3 weeks late and am really scared-i took a clear blue test yesterday but it was negative. i am gonna take another test in a few days but i jus wanted some feed back-i dont realy have any1 else to talk to, my boyfriends been really supportive but its not the same. if anyone has any advice that would be really appreciated. thanx

i went to my gyn and took a urine test it came back negative but i have a ll the symptoms.i had my period a week early but it was dark red and fadded to brown . something tells me i am pregnant though can someone please help me??

For IVFer: no answer to your question, but sharing my experience instead.
I also had IVf last Dec. but had my period (really heavy) 3 days before the end of the 2-week wait, so obviously IVF failed and bloodtest later confirmed it. Since then, I have not had my period. I've always been regular but am now 6 days late. I did an HPT when I was 4 days late and it was negative. My doctor's away until end of the month so can't ask if failed IVF messes up ones' cycle. Hopefully someone out there can help answer our question.

my period is now 9 days late, but was 6 days late when I got my GP to do a urine pregnancy test. It came up negative... just how accurate are these urine tests??

WHEN I WAS PREGNANT, I GOT THAT EXACT SAME SYMPTOM, MY NIPPLES WERE SO SENSITIVE THAT I COULDN'T EVEN DRY MY BREAST WITH A TOWEL AFTER A SHOWER, THAT IS A COMMON SYMPTOM IN PREGNANCY, MY SISTER HAD THE SAME THING

But I am not pregnant...so I don't know what is going on. Or at least it said I wasnt. I get the blood test back on Tuesday. Who knows what is going on with my body?????!!!
