Hi everyone! I am waiting this out with all of you! I hope that those of you who have had blood tests done will update us on this board.

I am now 6 days late and have not tested yet, because I don't want to get a false negative. I am going to wait until I am 10 days late to test

lori, smart girl to wait... i am about 8 or so days late... maybe more because my cycle is usually shorter than 28 days.. but i am going based on a 28 day cycle just in case... anyway... i did test with negative results.. i used an equate test that tests at 100 hgc which i am reading on some sites that might be too high??? of course i've never been here before so i don't know what's going on or what i'm doing... lol...

i'm recently married and we just threw away the condoms, etc.

so.. i am thinking.. ok... this would be
awfully early to already be knocked up, right?

i am cramping and it seems as if my situation should come any day now.. but it doesn't... usually when i start cramping it is there like clock-work the next day.. but i keep checking and nope not there.. nope not there...

so i keep thinking... the test said no, maybe my period is just playing hide and seek with me...

my best friend is pregnant right now... she told me go get the blood test.. she has never had a problem with testing with home test but she says that she got the cramping and kept thinking her period was coming before finding out she was pregnant... so... first i am going to get a more sensitive home test.... if negative i wait for the flood gates to open and get a blood test if they never seem to forever... lol i see a lot of women have similiar woes...

hi I'm also 4 days late had ivf two weeks ago tested negative my hcg levels were one under she said..........i've been pregnant 5 times before with only one son who passed away when he was 7 months old i'm the exact same with him sick,sore breast i didn't even take a pregnancy test with him at all.i just knew i took two clear blue tests one show up negative the other the line was horizontal was VERY faint.....not like the others i don't know what to do.........confused...

My period is now 8-10 days late and I took a home pregnancy test which came up negative. I also had a blood test taken 2 days ago and that was negative as well. I am usualy pretty regular. I havce been off of the pill for about 3 months. I have been pregant 4 times in the past and no baby yet, each time a different problem. I am confused about being pregnant again. Anyone else out there understand and can help me.

i talked with my sister last night and she told me i should definately go get a blood test because apparently when she was pregnant with my nephew she tested negative a couple times and assumed she wasn't pregnant but then went to doctor because she thought she had "some weird flu that wouldn't go away".. lol they did a blood test and she was... so she recommended i definately get the blood test to find out

I know what you guys are going through. I am almost a month late know, and still all tests show negative. I don't know what to do anymore. Any suggestions?

Hi Girls. Just said i'd let ya's know, if any1 is interested, that i went to the doctors this morning for my FIFTH test in 2wks, and it was positive. 4 negs all along, last tested sat morn so ive come to the conclusion that almost all HPTs are a waste of money..they just dont work. Theres no way my hcg was too low all along then rose right up in 48hours like that is there?? Anyway, about the pregnancy, i'm not thrilled yet, nor disappointed, still in shock i guess. Wasnt planned at all. my little girl Aoibheann is only 1 on next Sunday so looks like i'll have my work cut out! I wish ye all the best and will keep posting on the forum so hope to hear how you r all doing. Take Care for now x

hey JO. I went to the doc today and another big negative and I got my period today. I'm very disappointed but we'll just keep trying. God bless.

My period is over five weeks late, and every test I do is negative. I have had no morning sickness but sometimes feel nausea - peeing a lot, and have suffered from thrush which I am told can happen in pregnancy. Doctor no help - says go back in four weeks. I wanna know.

I got my period too, on saturday (1 week late). I can't believe it and know have no idea why I was late....beginning to think it's because I wanted to be late!!! Oh well, now our cycles are really messed up! Good luck and let me know how you get on this month. Also I'm 27 too!!!

JO, I'm very confused about when ovulation will begin. My husband decided that we should try ovulation test kits to determine when indeed the day will come. Until then we are just going to keep trying anyway (of course he likes that idea). I'll keep you posted.

i give up i took my 3rd hpt it was negative...i'm a week and a half late...i had invitro fert done 3weeks ago my blood test back from them was neg but i think it was to early...but i'm sick almost everyday all day long and i have secretion and my breast are sore and tingle......this will be my 6th pregnancy i had 4 miscarriages and i had a sweet little boy who passed away at 7 months due to heart problems.....but with him i never took a pregnancy test at all not one i just knew i was pregnant the same way i feel right now so i'm done taking them i'm just going to let nature take its course because i'm pretty sure i'm pregnant......................

I'm 6 days late and went to the doctor for a blood test yesterday and it was negative. Have felt like I'm going to start but haven't yet. My doctor said if I haven't started by Friday Oct. 1 that I need to come back for another blood test and if that test comes back negative that they would have to put me on 5 days of hormones to jump start my period.

How very interesting that there are sooooo many girls in the same boat. I wish more people would report positive results... it would keep my hope alive. Anyway... i'm 4 days late after having an AI this month. Negative test on day after expected period and yesterday at doctor (thought i had a uti as i can't quit peeing and my lower back is killing me). So I guess I was just throwing my hat in the ring and saying hello. I'll be testing again on Tuesday (as my doctor instructed at time of artificial insemination) if still no period. Anybody know about the lower back pain? I've rarely seen that listed as a symptom. Also... if it gives anyone hope... the lady who wrote what to expect when you're expecting also had several negative tests (including blood) and was pregnant... so it does happen. Anyway, as they say on other boards... baby dust to everyone that's hoping it is so!

As so many have said here - this is so helpful. I am about six days late and have take two preg tests - both negative. We have been thrying through AI for many, many, many months so I know the hour I am ovulating so a late period is supposed to be good news. A question - I have been getting a light, brown discharge for about 10 days. Anyone else?

Bob: No discharge here... just lot's of weird crampy feelings and peeing ALL THE TIME. The spotting could be implantation bleeding but for that length of time I wouldn't think so. This is my 4th AI month and 5th month on clomid. How about you?
