Hi everyone,
Jackie, it could be an ovarian cyst. I had one before which caused cramping, sharp pains, nausea, and exhaustion. That is why I feel like I can't trust myself until I get a positive pregnancy test. Right now I am 6 days late, with negative hpt and symptoms of naseau, exhaustion, feeling moody, cramps with no period, and tender breasts. Guess I have to wait it out like everyone else. I never would have guessed trying to get pregnant would be so confusing, best of luck to everyone else.

I'm new here, but i found this forum very comforting. I'm only 19, and I'm not sure if I'm pregnant. Me and my boifriend had unprotected sex the week before my period should've started...but he pulled out every time he felt he was gonna cum. We've done this numerously other months and it was always ok...stupid...but ok, because I end up having my period. Now I'm scared. I haven't talked to anybody about this except my boifriend....I'm a little over a week late on my period, and so far I've taken 2 HPT, both negative. But I've never had my period this late before. I don't know if it could be because of stress, or weight loss, or a UTI. I've been under a lotta stress trying to keep up in college...so much it's affected my eating habits, causing me to lose 15 pound in the past couple months. i've also been having a UTI that comes and goes. It used to be really really bad and now I haven't had much problems with it lately. I haven't had any of the pregnancy symptoms people have been mentioning...no sore breasts, or frequent urination. The only frequent urination I would get was due to my UTI, but finally after struggling through it coming and going for nearly 6 months, it seems to of just stopped. My period is kinda irregular too. Once it was almost 4 or 5 days before I expected it, and other times, it's come a couple of days after I've expected it. But this time, it's just not coming at all...if its just gonna be late, this is the latest it's ever been...so i'm really not sure whether i'm pregnant or not. Anybody got any advice on what it may be? Please, it would really help. Thanx.

ive now been bleedin for 9 days-its slightly darker now but still as light. my stomach feels bloated and my lower back really aches-im not used to back ache and ive been quite moody-my boyfriend had been grumblein cos i keep snappin at him! im comin up to the date that i shud have my period normally-but cos my cycles a bit messed up i dunno how everythings gonna pan out. ive also been really dizzy resently-kinda giddy wen i stand up. i still really worryin myself about all this. sorry to keep moanin-i dont really hav anywhere else to vent. thanx

Even if you're afraid of the results, the doctor can explain any questions you may have. I'm starting a fertility treatment, so I hope to be blessed soon. Instead of torturing yourselves thinking what it could be, GO TO THE DOCTOR and work from there!!!

17worried...Can you try to write in proper english...I may have some advice for you if I could understand what you were saying... ie: when you write "cos", do you mean "because"? you're writing in spanglish or something and it's impossible to comprehend. only 17, but you should know the english language by now.

????????????????????????????????I am 25...Married and a mom to a 4 year old son...Have been trying to become pregnant again for a couple of months now...Should have gotten my period the 17th of January...Tried especially hard to conceive during the 4 days ovulation was supposed to take place...Dec 31-Jan 3rd...Feeling nauseous, breasts are a bit sore, but negative hpt results...I've taken about 10 of them...What are my chances of being pregnant? How long after a missed period would a positive prego result show if I were prego? Would it be better and more accurate if I get a blood test? I feel a bit crampy occasionally and have had some sharp pains in my lower abdomen...Maybe an ovarian cyst, or something? Any advice or comments appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

everyone- i'm sorry if the language i've used in my posts isn't exactly perfect english, i'm writing these posts on my computer at home and i don't want my parents to know-so i've been shortening my words so that i can fit more information into each post and not take to long writing them. i'm sorry if i've been confusing anyone and yes "cos" means "because" and "hav" is "have"-i thought that most words were pretty self explanatory. any help from people would be extremely useful. thank you and sorry.

17worried-- Don't listen to that woman. She is a nut. People come to this site to get help from others. They don't come to get hassled. She is as ignorant as she claims you to be. I hope everything works out with you. I don't believe you to be pregnant, bc you would be bleeding a lot less. If you were pregnant, you could have miscarried. The chances of you bleeding 9 days while pregnant are slim. Most bleeding has to do with an enlarged uterus, or implantation bleeding.They both would only last a day or two. I would go to your doctor as soon as possible to rule out anything else. Good luck. Me-- I am still going through the same thing. I am "supposed" to get my period next Monday, but I didn't get it last month so I don't know what to expect. I am going to wait to take a test until after then. But i am going crazy. Bleeding after sex now, breasts SOOOO tender, nauseous a lot, headaches, heartburn, backaches, and cramping in my lower abdomen. I can't take this anymore.

17 worried...We're not being graded on this site...We're all trying to seek information from understanding and experienced women that may be going through the same thing we are...That "Annoyed" person is ignorant and you don't have to be worried about anything...By what you have been experiencing, I believe that you are not pregnant...I have taken the Plan B (aka morning after pill) many, many times and have had irregular periods afterwards...After taking the pill, I began lightly bleeding from taking it...The hormones give you your period, but it could be lighter or heavier than normal...No need to worry, sweetie...I am confident you'll be fine...Best of luck! kimmie-thanx for the support and advice,i think im just a bit confused why im bleeding for so long, but im going to go to the doctor on thursday-if i can pluck up enough courage. so hopefully i'll know whats going on with my body. thanx for all your support. good luck and i hope everything works out for you the way you want. will keep you posted. thanx

Aliveya-thanx for the info on the plan b-i knew it might muck up my cycle a bit but i wasnt expecting this much of a change-the info that came with it said i might b a few days early or late and anymore than 5 days late i should consult a dr-but obviously-4 weeks later i havent.i did expreience some bleedin about 4 days after i took the pill that lasted like my normal period(bout 5 days) but was extremely light-which is what id expected-i didnt expect to be 4 weeks late-but im sure theres nothing to worry about, im jus young and unexperienced, which is why this site and all the info you ladies have given me has been so so helpful. thank you. i hope you all achieve what ever it is you want from your situations. good luck, god bless. and thanx again

17Worried- I understand everything you were saying, please don't pay attention to that crazy nut. Anyway I think it was the morning after pill that screwed up your body and I think it will just take a bit of time to normalize. My cycle go so srewed up if the past when I took bc pills and then 2 years ago when I started with the depo-provera shots. Please hang in there and everything will turn out fine.

Kimmie, guess what...I'm not crazy! After 3 neg blood test, 4 neg HPT's and 1 disappointing ultrasount I finally got an answer. Today was when I was going to take my fourth and final blood test before beginning "provera" to start my period. When I called to get my number it was...114 (anything over 5 is pregnant)!!! It went from less than 1 to 114 in one week. I have no clue how far along I am, but I have another blood test next Monday to make sure that my levels are progressing correctly and an ultrasound in about 2 1/2 weeks! I'm so excited...I will keep all of you updated. Kimmie, have you heard anything new?

Denise congratulations! I was wondering what type of blood tests you had done. Were they quanitive? Thanks!

I'm really confused. I haven' had my period since Oct. 1. I've had a total of 6 negative test. Then about 2 weeks ago my left breast started leaking. I've had other symptoms but because of the negatives I just keep telling my self there all in my head. Today I went to the doctor but she didn't give me any answers. I go on for a blood test. I want to be pregnant but I'm starting to feel like there is no hope.

17worried.... Last March I was pregnant and I also had bleeding. It went from light to dark and to bright red. I knew there was something defenately wrong. It lasted for weeks. I finally had an ultrasound and discovered that I had an Ectopic (tubal) pregnancy,(where the baby implants outside the uteris, usually in the falliopian tubes)& which I could have died from if I had not done anything about it. I didn't have any pain until the day that my tube almost ruptured. whatever it is.. it is very important you see your Obgyn right away.
