It means you are probably pregnant. Take a test to confirm it and put yourself at ease knowing that you finally know. Look, I know you are scared, but you need to know this. If you were expecting your period on Jan. 26, then that means your last one would be somewhere between Dec. 25-29. That would mean that you would be fertile the week of Jan. 8. Take care of yourself.

hi everybody it seems i am one of u too,well i m 1 mnth late i have symptoms og fatigue,urinating more often loweback pain headaches,legpains n all i have taken 3 pregnancy test all negative dont know wat to do i m really confused AM I PREGNANT OR NOT PLIZ TELL ME ANYBODY

wish i had an answer!!!! im 5 days late. Have been off the pill since the start of October and have been regular since then but now nothing and 4 negative tests later its driving me up the wall. Im really suprised though how common this problem is. Don't feel like im the only one cracking up now. Too scared to do another test in case its negative again. Giving it til Thursday (friday if I can!!!)

Hi all: I've been reading your posts and threads back to August and finding much support. Now I just need to share my suspicions. I've been off the pill (patch actually) since August. Have had irreg periods, sometimes 28 days sometimes 36, but I get one each month. I'm not on day 36 and still no period. I did a test this morn and think I saw a faint line. The thing is, it is not so much that I feel preg, but that I don't feel premenstrual. Usually I can tell I'm getting my period. I'm really hopeful that this is my month!

To Carolyn: I really feel for you. But however scared, you will find a lot of support out there. I was floored the first time I was preg. It just didn't fit into my life at the time. I now have 2 kids and they are each a blessing, but looking back, I was scared like you. You have to trust that you'll find your way thru it. Being scared is okay, but being in denial is not. First you need to confirm that you are or are not preg. Then, if yes, ask for support thru doc, women's groups, churches whatever. You will find a lot of kind ears out there. Talking thru things with people will help you get a better grip on this.

I am a week late and have done two HPTs -- both negative. This is my third pregnancy - last one ended in miscarriage 11/25/04. With both my last pregnancies I had positive HPTs a couple of days after my period (very faint line on HPT for my first who is healthy and now almost 2) was due so I do not know what to think.

I haven't had a period since january 7th. I've taken numerous pregnancy tests and they all say negative ... I don't know what to do.

Couldnt wait til Friday or even Thursday!! Have done 2 more tests as I was fairly sure I was pregnant but they were both negative. Thats 6 now!!

I just took another HPT (#3) and it was negative again. I woke up this morning with nausea and sore nipples so I was sure my HPT was going to be positive. I am going to the doctor's on Friday for a blood test for a more definite answer. I will let you know if +/- because I am curious to see if the HPTs really aren't all that accurate. I have also done some reading and there could be problems if hcg levels (which HPTs use to detect pregnancy) are too low. I am 8 days late at this point and have been a wreck for 6/8 days due to all the negative HPTs!! The Internet is a wonderful tool, but I have determined that doing too much research on my own is going to make me insane!!!

I have now taken 4 hpts and still negative. Not sure what is going on, but I have made a doctors appt to have a blood test. Hope everything works out for everyone.. If anyone would like to talk, I will be there for you!

Im 4 days late for af...Have taken a gazillion test (10 at least) and all have been negative!!! Ive never been late for af! i had a miscarriage awhile back at 8weeks, and was told id be very fertile. Im hoping this is it.

My period is 8 days late and we've been trying to get pregnant. However last month I was 12 days late with a negative test and then my period arrived.
I am very confused as I am usually very regular (like to the day!) then as soon as we start trying my period is late 2 months ina row. I'd like to be pregnant but worried that stress is affecting my cycle. What do you think?
I will do a test on the weekend perhaps?

I hope this may help some of you. I took a HPT the day after my period was due in the morning and it was negative. I threw it in the trash, later that night I was taking out the trash and saw it I looked again and there was 2 lines. I was shocked. The next day I went to my Dr. and had a blood test and it was positive. I was 2 weeks pregnant. My advise to all of you is to save the money on the HPT and go to the Dr. for a blood test because they are not false and won't cause all of the anxiety of the neg HPT. Good Luck!!!

I've been reading a bunch of answers from different sights like these and I found a answer that might help most of you. One wrote that after 4 neg HPT and 3 neg blood tests she was indeed pregnant and a positive result did not show until she was 18 weeks. It souns like many of you could indeed be pregnant so hang in there!!!

Also on a different note one of close friends tried for 10 years to get preg with her husband with no luck they finally adopted and when her adopted son was 8 months she found out she was pregnant. This also happened to another friend of mine although she went thru a surrogate and when her son was 9 months she found out she was pregnant. There must be somthing psychological about it. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you :-)

Ok here is my story.... it' so nice to know that I am not alone. I have always sorta been ireegular with my periods. About every 6 weeks. With my daughter I tested negative on day 29 but then on day 42 tested positive. I had my last period on December 6. I have taken about 5 hpts... last one about 2 weeks ago. All negative. I go to the Dr. today. I can express small amounts of white liquid out of my nipples.... is that something that can happen when your not pregnant?? Thanks in advance for replies!!

I have a question. I am 4 days late and I have tested negative on 3 pregnancy tests. I could not understand what was going on until it hit me. I was breastfeeding and then I stopped and later got my first period on Jan. 16. Now, I am supposed to get my second period on Feb. 13 and it has not come. Maybe my cycle is not back on track and that my period is not "late". Can anyone help me out there?
