I was supposed to have my period about 2 months ago and I didn't.So I went to the Dollar Store and got a pregnancy test. I took it 3 times in the last 3 weeks but it was all negative. Could the test be wrong? And is there a possibility that I'm pregnant? Please Help!

Hi people. My period was due today and im praying i dont come on. I've had no signs of pmt etc and so im really hoping. My partner and i had sex on the 14th & 15th of Feb (Ovulation Date). What are the chances that i will have conceived?

I have been having cramps for about two and a half weeks now and my period is two days late. also i have been peeing non stop and iam nausiated when i take a shower and when i drive in my car. I took a pregnancy test on the 27 but my period was do on the 28th it was negative. Was it to early to take one and should i be seen by an obgyn

Well ladies, I was scheduled to have my blood test this morning. While getting ready this morning to go, my period started. I called my doc to tell them I wasn't coming in and why. The nurse still wanted me to come in and take the test so that they could determine if it was just a late period or possibly a miscarriage. I chose not to know. Good luck to all of you. Perhaps motherhood is not meant to be for me. Like I said in an earlier post, I am 38 and my husband is 44 and we have been trying for 11 years. Boy, this polycystic ovary thing is a PAIN! Nonetheless, I hope you all get what you want! If you get those babies you want, love them like the little miracles they are! Best wishes.

I'm 2 weeks Late and I have tooking 3 Pregnancy Test and they all came back Negative But I'm having Upset stomach and Light Cramps can someone tell me something.

Hey everyone I am also going thru the same thing. I have been pregnant before and consieved thae same way I think now. I stopped taking my pill and at the time having very normal periods and now I am late. I have taken three test and all neg. but I took the early pregnancy test. I start to get a discharge after sex and light cramping. leading me to think that I had concieved. but nothing yet. I don't know if I should just forget about it and hope I get it or what very confused.. but I also want to be pregnant so can I be causeing this reaction.?

I am 39 days late. I took a hpt test 2 weeks ago, when i was 25 days late, and it was definately negative. Today I got a watery whiteish discharge! I though it was AF, but it was not. I am freaking out. Should I take another?

To Kel and everyone.... well after 5 days, 8 tests and 10 minutes after another negative test I got my period. I am still kind of hoping that it might be implantation bleeding... I doubt it though :-( I guess I will try again this month. I will keep everyone informed if anything changes for the better, and good luck to everyone.

Hey Everybody, Kel here! I've realised some girls are getting way too obsessed, some women are testing before they are even due. My suggestion to you all is not to test untill you are a week late, and if it's negative and you still don't get your period test again a few days later. Pregnancy tests are not cheap, why test everyday? Take it easy, relax and best of luck to you all x

Hey Everybody! Just thought I would share my story and plans with you guys. It had been almost 8 weeks since my last period, there is usually 4 1/2 to 5 weeks in my cycle. When I was 5 days late (5 weeks and 4 days since my last period) I tested negative at a clinic. I havnt tested since cause I just assumed I wasnt pregnant and for some reason my period was late. I have been getting pregnancy symptoms and feeling really different, I didnt know whether it was in my head or not and still don't know now to be honest. I came on here and realised it is possible for me to be pregnant but of tested negative. Today (7 weeks and 5 days since my last period) I dropped in at the maternity ward, and a nurse there has made me an appointment to go to my local family planning clinic on wednesday to be tested and arrange scans if needed. So on wednesday Im goin to get my results, if its negative Im taking that as my final answer. I'l let you all know how it goes.

Hi all, I am only 2 days late but very excited I did a test just to see, it was a 'first response test' the negative line is very strong but the other line is extrememly faint. Does this mean yes or no? Sometimes I think I want this too much! It is nice to hear I am not the only one.

well i will be 5 days late tomorrow and i am taking a test in the morning also all the other test 2 days ago said no so i called my doctor and he said to do a blood test to see if i just have very low HCG however the only symptoms i have is a late period, weird cramps and bad lower back pain hope this helps hang in there

I'm 11 days late - never missed a period in my life. Only preg. symptom I've had is morning sickness. Took a hpt today and it was faintly faintly neg. after 2 minutes, but about 15 mins later it was a definate positive. Is this for real?

If you wait to long to read a pregnancy test.. i.e. 15 mins what you see could just be an evaporation line. Honestly I think that once you are concerned with being pregnant you should go get a quantatative blood test done. That is the test that measures the exact amount of Hcg in the blood. It is a very sensitive test. I believe that most of the women with false negative results who took blood tests, were given qualatative blood tests which only tells whether or not a threshold amount of Hcg is in the blood. It is my understanding that this test is not very accurate.

As for being late, if you have just recently stopped taking bc pills or depo shot it could take awhile for your cycles to return to normal. So you could have 40 day cycles and not be pregnant. Or in the case of depo some women do not have any periods for 1 year after stopping. I wish you all the best of luck in getting the answers you want. But while there are early pregnancy signs, many of the signs just mimic the signs of your AF coming. I think that we get too excited hoping for the +++, that we start reading more into the signs than not. I have been there, so I know. Relax and enjoy this time in your life.
