im sure your hpt was wrong because the same thing you going through im going through and i know you are just dying to find out but my doctor told me to wait another week before i test again and it should be enough fluid in your urine to tell you that you are pregnant good luck!!!!!!!

I have the same problem as most of you here. I took 2 pregnancy tests at home and I did a blood test with my doctor yesterday. They all come back negative but im 8 days late. Im never late!!! What could it be? How accurate is the blood test? Should I be worried?
I would appreciate some feedback.

I'm really relieved to hear that someone else is going through this too. I have actually missed 3 periods in a row, but every urine test I've taken came up neg. I talked to my mom and grandmother about this and both of them said they had to get a blood test. My grandmother was actually 4 months preg with my uncle before she got a pos result! I'm still hopefull! :)

Wow i cant tell you how good it feels to know that i am not alone in this situation.I am on the same boat, the last time i had sex was on the 22nd Feb and i was ovulating on 22/23. AF was suppossed to visit me yesterday but when she didnt come i was a little freaked out.for the past week i have been having pregnancy symptoms, like tired at work, eating alot,nothing with the breast though just a little sore when i shower in(when the water touches my nipples.) and im a little lighthead.lower backache and crampimg. i dont know if all of this is in my head but when i took the hpt this morning it came up negative..i dont know if it was too soon but i have an appointment to see my OBGY on 4th April, im keeping my fingers crossed. I will pray for everyone and i hope things go the way you want them to..

Im sorry I didnt reply sooner but this is the first time I have been on and read your post. I am now 5 weeks late, and the pain in my thigh has gone (no idea what that was all about) and I found out that the sinuses (runny/stuffed nose) were caused by the flu not pregnancy. I had a negative test this morning and plan 2 see my doctor after missing my 3rd period in a row, not b/c I think im pregnant but 2 sort it out. My nipples have been really sore these last few days so there is a possibility that I may of ovulated late and it is too early to show on a test rite? Well im not gona prepare 4 that coz I kno the chances are small. Good luck to you tho!

Hey Guys! My nipples feel sore and bruised they have been like this these last few days...everytime I touch them It feels like I am touchin a really bad bruise. I know what your thinkin...stop touching them then ha ha....but u know what its like u just cant help it! Im 5 weeks late but dont appear to be pregnant, uness I ovulated late and its too early to show a positive result. My nipples DID feel like this with my last pregnancy come 2 think of it but I want other peoples explanations or opinions on what it is????

Listen to your body. After almost 3 months with no period. No possitive bt or urine test, us show nothing but my stomach looked 3 months pregnant. I started to bleed a couple days ago. My stomach starts to look like before missed my period. There seemed to be a lot of tissues coming out. It is appearing like I am having a miscarriage. I think I am having a miscarriage even though all the test said no.

I am seeing a common thread here, and I'm so glad I found this site. I have had 3 healthy children, all of whom showed up on my HPT immediately, as soon as the urine started riding up the stick. Also, I'm as regular as they come. All 3 kids tested positive after only 1 missed day of period. Now I'm two days late and 4 HPTs all negative. I remember back when I was in high school fearing I was pregnant and being late. I think I psyched myself out so much, I kept it from happening. Anyway, here are some of my pregnancy signs that I felt as recently as last year when I was pregnant with my daughter: constipation (I had my gallbladder taken out, so I usually have runny stuff), frequent peeing at night (up 2-4 times per night when usually not at all), sore nipples (bumped one as I got into the shower and said -ow! what the heck is going on here?!), big blue veins showing through my skin of my breasts and then later on my stomach, nipples getting darker red (mine are very pale), nipples getting wider (mine used to be small), -this one is crazy- my vagina turned dark purple (get a mirror and check it out!), air-headedness (I'm usually very logical, organized, and have the memory of an elephant...when pregnant the first few months I'm a total space cadet), very hungry all the time at first (2 weeks) and then nauseus all day long through until week 13 (bionic nose, can smell everything and it all smells disgusting!), feeling of being very bloated (I remember saying with both girls, 'when this period comes, it's gonna be huge!'), and a general gushy feeling down there that my period is coming any second. SO, now that I've given you all the signs of my pregnancies, I can tell you that right now I feel very bloated, I'm very spacey, I've been up peeing a couple of times per night...BUT I'm majorly stressed out, wanting to know if I'm pregnant or not and I know me...I could easily be making myself feel all these things just by the stress alone. Stress makes it hard for me to sleep, so naturally if I'm awake I'll get up and pee more. I'm bloated right before my period usually anyway, so if I'm late I'll naturally be more bloated. I'm spacey probably because I can't stop thinking about whether I'm pregnant or not. I am the most impatient person in the world I think, so the advice to just be patient and wait doesn't work for me. But I have no choice! Good news for all you moms out there trying so hard to conceive with no luck and disappointment after disappointment: My cousin spent 30k on invitro (after losing their 1month old in vitro baby to heart problem) and had healthy twin boys. Then 10 months later, got pregnant the natural way by accident. Total miracle baby. They tried for 10 years to do it without in vitro and were unsuccessful. Also, another family friend tried for 13 years and failed. Gave up. 6 months later had their first of 3 healthy kids. The mind is a terribly powerful thing. The stress of wanting something so bad can completely throw your hormones off. And no ovulation chart in the world is going to help you if your own brain power is screwing with your hormones. I can tell you to try not to think about it and try not to worry, but I know that won't help you. And every time you look in your underwear and see the signs of your period once again, you'll cry. I've been there too (prior to having my kids), and I wish you the best of luck and joy with a child of your own. My thoughts are with all of you.

I agreed. I had all the symtoms that you (LC) described. I told my doctor but she looked at me and said that because I wanted to be pregnant so bad that I thought I was pregnant. I asked why my stomach is big like a 3-month pregnant. She said she does not know but she can refer me to a gastroenterology. I've just wonder what she might think if I told her my stomach is getting back to normal after all that bleeding.

hey..the soreness in my leg went away and i guess " the flu" did too! but yesterday when i was taking a shower i noticed that my nipples were sore, its weird because i have all the same thinbgs as you... i dont think i am pregnant either, but i do want to know whats going on. all 5 tests that i have taken have been negative, no what are the odds, especially since i would have to be atleast 8weeks pregnant, it would definately show up by then...anyways my sister had endometriosis so im going to have the doctor check that out...does qnyone in you rfamily have the same thing? my dr. appt isntuntil the end of march so let me know how yours goes...

Hey Elizabeth, I just though I wud let u know that I got my period 2day, 9 weeks since the last! Dam are bodies are strange confusing machines! Yano I was actually quite shocked I told my husband that I wasnt expecting it at all, and he pointed out that I wasnt goin on anymore and I basically kept thinking that I wasnt pregnant. And then b4 u know it IM ON! I think I must of been stressed without realising it...I just hope that my periods are regular from now on so that I have an idea whats goin on with my body! Iv actually decided (crazy as it may seem) that im not going to 'TRY' nemore and im just goin 2 have sex when me and my husband want to! Love making and baby making are 2 totally different things, I realised that last week when I wasnt actually thinking about babies. I believe my time will come and being relaxed will not only keep me calm & happy but it increases the chance of conception during sex, Im just gonna not try think about it! ..Hi Naddy...I was about 5 days last and had all the symptoms. These last cople weeks I've been going a little crazy. I tried 3 preg tests and all were -ve. Then yesterday out of the blue...hello period. It was a lot lighter than usual and bright red. I was almost sure I was pregnant . I really felt like it anyways. I have been worried that it is a miscarriage..but I think thats just my paranoia and over analysing. I am going to take your advice and relax a little. Thanks!

My period is now 21 days late. I got off the pill in August, and was pregnant right away. In November, had a D&C. Since then, I have had normal periods, until now. I have taken 5 hpt and 1 blood test - all negative. One thing I think we all have in common is WHY. I went to my doctor when I was 2 wks late and he spent 15 minutes telling me that sometimes this happens to women. There are many causes, but it's nothing to worry about. If you haven't started in a week, come back and we will do a pelvic exam to try and find a cause. What a load of crap, what is going to change in a week? I have been having preg symptoms, wondering if they were in my head. One week before this period was due, I had one day of light spotting. Yesterday, I had the same thing. I plan on making an appt with a different dr. on Monday, if I still haven't started by the end of the weekend. Thanks for letting me vent my story and if you have any suggestions let me know.

I cant actually give you my opinion in your situation cause so many women think they are pregnant when they are not ant vise versa, Hope things go well 4 u and keep us posted!

I am now 12 days late. I have taken 3 HPT tests and they all came up negative on the first 5 days of being late. I have never been this late ever... I beeeb having headaches for 2 days and my breast have gotten bigger. I also experienced nausea today and threw up ... my headache wont go away. Please advice
