to dana i also have a cycst on my right ovary i found out this 2 and half years ago and not once has it made my period late and it has been checked again and it is fine they said it doesnt need to be removed.as for everyone else ive been doing research on the net today and i found out the last 2 test i have used were 50ml which is not that great so im gonna go get first response early pergnancy test which test 15 ml and than i will see.has anyone else used first respone early test?i also found out that test i used to find out i was preggers with my 2 boys they were 25 ml so i learned something good today and i hope this helps others.

Thank you sooo much Carrie and Ky! I guess what it ultimately comes down to is that I just need to find a new doctor and make an appointment. The two reasons I have waited so long is 1)I HaTe going to doctors nad 2)I am 21, live at home, am unmarried, and have extremely religious parents. I wanted to be absolutely sure that I'm not pregnant before seeing a doctor because of the tests they will run - tests that will show up on my parents' insurance, etc. Anyway, I reallly appreciate you girls sharing your advice because I know you know what you're talking about. My bf and I are not "trying" to conceive, but also dont take the safest precautions, and we wouldn't be devastated if I was preg. I actually have become quite used to the idea. Man, I hope I dont have anything that needs surgery. I am not and never have been on the pill, and I dont really want to, but if I have a cyst and that's the best way to shrink it, then I will. I reallly hope that this wont affect me when I am trying to conceive. But I guess I'm getting ahead of myself until I get checked out. Bleh...I had a transvaginal once a few years ago in the hospital...not so fun. Carrie- Good luck with conceiving!! I will definitely keep you posted. The hardest thing is the not knowing. I would be fine if my period started. I would be fine if i got a positive hpt. But nothing?? ahh. Oh, and i know exactly what you mean about women who dont test positive until 4 months. What's up with that?? And i read sooo many posts by women who want that to be their case, so I'm trying to tell myself the opposite; that there's no way i'm that 1 in a million woman who that happens to. It's not fair being a woman!! Ky- from what I have read in many forums, the test of choice is First Response early detection. The Walmart brand also tests 15ml. I have used both (tested negative) which I am pretty definite is accurate, and they are both very easy to use! Good luck! And keep us posted.

well i got AF today so im not preggo its ok thou i really wasnt ready for this again right now anyways my boys are only 5 and 2 and i think i would of gone nuts with a newborn lol.i will get my baby girl oneday when im ready maybe when im 30 or i will have LOTS of granddaugthers oneday thats what i tell my hubby that are boys will have girls cuz we have boys.i guess god knew at this point in my life im not ready for another im trying toget my daycare liscenes and my drivers liscenes i cant wait im sooooo excited.well i wish ever one luck and god bless i will keep u in my prays.

I am 4 MONTHS late. I have taken 5 different test. All negative. Im getting scared about whats going on with me. I have little signs of being pg. Im 22 and I have regular periods. Im scared to go to the doctors but I think it's time I go. Anyone might know what's going on with me?

I have done 5 HPT and all Neg, I feel pregnant! I have symptoms as well sore nipples, tired, have been very, very sickly during the day and evening, ocassional morning, frequent toilet visits! If I am I am around 4 weeks period is only 2 days late though if aunt flow is not here by next week may go to the DR's so glad to see others have this same agonising wait, and wonderment!

Hey girl! No problems with the post. I saw it there and thought we may have something in common! LOL! A little more of my story, I haven't had a normal period since October. In February, I was given Prometrium to start my periods which started them but still does not count as a "normal" period because it was medication-induced. I didn't have a period for 4 months before they found the cyst and now it's been 7 months since I had one. That's why I feel that you should go in to get yours tested. If you do have a functional cyst (or other) it's always good to get it looked at and get it taken care of. They might give you the pill for a couple of months to shrink it up and it'll be all good from there. That's what they're doing with me (although with me, I'm not happy about it! LOL!) How the hell can one get pregnant when on the pill? Stupid if you ask me.. Anyways, enough of my bellyaching. I guess I'll just have to deal with it. We've been trying for 8 months now and now I've just automatically added another 2 months because of this stupid pill. Man, who knew it was going to be this hard! Thanks for the well-wishes. I too hope that I get pregnant soon. It's getting more and more worrisome as time goes on that there may be something wrong with me. Anyways, do you have any updates for me? hey again i just wanted to give some advice to the woman out there even thou i got AF im still reading the post cuz im interested to know everyones story.well i wanted to let some of u know i found out in the begining of march i had gall stones and let me tell u they make u sick vomiting and diaherra sometimes and boalted when u have an attack so some of u ladies be careful ok as for me they took me gall bladder out woo hoo no more of that so im guessing that why my period was 15 days late cuz i was on some meds and pain killers for a few days.so any of u ladies on any meds? u might wanna think into that cuz it can make your period late sometimes.to dana how is the whole cycstis thing going? i know it can be scary it was for me at first till i found out it shrunk and they didnt need to do anything to it i was preggo with my son when all that drama was going on i found out i had the cycsit before i was preggo and i was afarid i might not be able to get preggo hahaha thats was funny i was preggo the next month.well anyways ladies god bless and keep me posted if u find out if u are preggo or not.

I am sorry I haven't written in awhile. I took the dollar store pregnancy test and it showed up positive after I had been 4 weeks late on my period. I still say the best bet is First Response Early Detection- since it tests at 15/miu. The pregenancy is still going well- they plan on putting a cerclage in at the end of May or begining of June. Has anyone ever had one or dealt w/this pregnancy issue? I am really scared and would like to here how there doctors handled them after the stitch is pupt in. I'm having a bit of a problem. I was due to start my period on April 19 but it never came. For about 3 weeks now I've been cramping on my right side. I was certain that it was period cramps but the period never came. Tomorrow will be April 30, which makes me 11 days late. I tested last week and it was completely negative. Not even a hint of positive. I've been a bit irritable, like I get before it's time to start but I never started! What's going on? (I don't have medical insurance right now so I can't afford to go see a doctor.)

i got off the patch, had a period and tried for a month to get preg. i'm only a few days late and tons of neg. hpt results. only symptoms of preg. are headaches, huge veins in chest and tingling down there. i hate the waiting game. any advise

Carrie and Ky- Thanks again sooo much for all of your help. I don't really have any updates, I still have to find a doctor to go to. Still no period. I have honestly been keeping my mind off of the pregnancy possibility, because I just dont think I am. So it's not stress thats keeping it away for this long. Anyway, I'll keep you updated. I'm just SO grateful to have women out there who know what I'm going through. Thanks!

I am really late for my period. It comes at the same time every month, but im dont keep track of the day..but I know I was supposed to get it around the 10th of april...ish lol. But I still haven't gotten it and i have signs of pregnancy...esp increase of the clear mucus stuff. Anyone been THIS late and still got negatives??? I should go for a blood test soon.

What is the mucus you guys talk about? Is it clear? How long should a person wait after they took their first pg test to get retested?

Hi there, I have missed my period 3 times now, I have taken 2 at home tests and the were both neg, I am peeing all the time, bloated but no other signs I am concerend?

Hey everyone, I just thought that I would share this, because I know how much every woman in this q&a wants to hear this kind of story:
so i am a part of a forum that deals with all aspects of pregnancy. In there, I met a girl who was going through the same ExAcT thing as me (same amount of time and all). She missed her period for over 2 months, took 7 tests (combination of home and at the doctors) that were all negative. (I am unsure if any of those tests were blood, or if they were all urine) So a few days ago, she tested positive. She had a very faint line, but a line is a line. She has tested a few times since then, and they have all come up positive eversince.
So, here is one of those 1 in a million cases. I wonder if something like this can be hereditary; she told me that her mom never tested positive with her pregnancies until she was 14 weeks along. Anyone know?
As for me, I still dont think I'm pregnant, but I still havent seen my period. It will be 3 months in about a week. Still looking for a doctor...
