Hey everyone, I just thought that I would share this, because I know how much every woman in this q&a wants to hear this kind of story:
so i am a part of a forum that deals with all aspects of pregnancy. In there, I met a girl who was going through the same ExAcT thing as me (same amount of time and all). She missed her period for over 2 months, took 7 tests (combination of home and at the doctors) that were all negative. (I am unsure if any of those tests were blood, or if they were all urine) So a few days ago, she tested positive. She had a very faint line, but a line is a line. She has tested a few times since then, and they have all come up positive eversince.
So, here is one of those 1 in a million cases. I wonder if something like this can be hereditary; she told me that her mom never tested positive with her pregnancies until she was 14 weeks along. Anyone know?
As for me, I still dont think I'm pregnant, but I still havent seen my period. It will be 3 months in about a week. Still looking for a doctor...

Hi. I'm 12 days late. And I've done about a hundred (feels like as many) hpts which are all negative. I have all the symptoms of being pregnant... painful breasts, bloating, nausea, which ironically are also pms symptoms. I feel so helpless and am just waiting for another few days before i test again or go to the doc. But it's nice to know that I'm not alone. I so wish I'm pregnant though.

Well for me the mucus is clear, stretchy and odorless...but im not sure if thats normal cuz i dont know if im pregnant or not. I just met two women the other day that were tested neg (one till she was 5 months, the other till about 3rd trimester with twins!) So obviously its not that uncommon....but im going for a blood test soon..i dunno if i should wait till my period is due again (which is in 5 days)..sometimes being a girl is rough, eh ladies? :D

Hi Girls! Looks like we're all in the same boat right now! I havn't had a period since March 13th. I have taken 2 HPT's and both have come up negative. They were the Clear Blue Easy Read digital things. My only real symptoms are extreame fatigue, i feel like i'm on cold medicine or something. I could sleep all day. I havn't really noticed an increase in urinating, but my boobs are a little tender, and of course the missed period, coming up on 2 missed periods. I don't want to go to the doctor before i have the positive HPT first. Seems like such a waste of time. Could anyone offer any advice or has anyone had this happen?

JamieLynn, youf going through the EXACT same thing as me cuz we both were due around the same time. Im getting a blood test tomorrow.,..and i used the Clear Blue digital thingy too...weird...anywho, do u feel nauseated some times? Cuz i get it once in awhile....and my boobs are tender once in awhile..its not constant although my nipples were sooooo swensitive for about a week

Being a girl IS tough!! Too many signs and symptoms are the same for period and pregnancy. And waiting around without a clear answer is soo unfair. Give me my period or give me a positive test already!!! hehe. Well, it is possible to test negative and still be pregnant. I have heard several cases of this. Still, it's not THAT common. Whatever happens to you ladies, PlEaSe keep us posted. It's encouraging, no matter what your news is, to hear updates. Does anyone know how much more accurate a blood test is than urine? i understand that it's a more direct route to finding the HCG level, but if a woman was 2-3 months preg, could she have a negative urine test but positive blood? That doesnt seem possible to me, but I was just wondering. Chantel- do you know how those 2 ladies you spoke of finally found out they were preg? (with what kind of test?) Thanks...

Well, it is possible to get a neg blood test too apparently..everyones different. As for those two ladies I spoke to, both went in for an ultrasound to examine their tummies for other problems (probs with their ovaries etc)...I didnt go get a blood test today, I had to much to do...but Ill keep u posted when i go get one and when i find out. Period is due in 4 days..ill let u know if it comes or not...

WOW. Had no idea so many women had this issue. Im due to start on Monday but for the last week I have had low abdomenal cramping and lower back pain. I have the clear discharge that feels like your are starting and frequent bathroom trips. I do not have the sore breasts or the nausea. I have taken about 7 HTP's all different brands and they are all negative. I have appt with OBGYN on Monday and I will have a blood test done. I have never encountered these symptoms before in my life. I should be pregnant. We have been activly trying for 3 months. My husband thinks im insane and a huge whiner. I cant WAIT to show his this site and make him read all these postings!!! FUN. I'll keep my results posted. Did I mention the lower back pain is PIERCING and mainly on the right side? Hi ladies! I am two months late... four urine tests and a blood test have all come up neg, but still no sign of my period coming. I have all the symptoms... increased appetite and weight gain, enlarged sore breasts, fatigue, I always have back pain since my car accident so there's really no telling there. Also, when my best friend was pregnant, one of her breast grew faster than the other, you could really tell the difference between them. That's happened to me also, but I haven't really seen any evidence of this being a common thing. Has anyone know what else could be causing me to miss periods, besides over-stressed, change of lifestyle and things like that? The only thing that is really stressing me out is that I don't know what's wrong with me now.

My sister had three neg. befor she went to a doctor for a physical for a new job, they did blood work on her and told her she was pregnant. Now i am concerned, i am 12 days late and have taken tow tests, both showed a very light possitive lline approx. two hours after i took the test, my pants dont fit, my breasts are bigger, but not tender, i am nauses and very tired, i recently had some stress in my life, but that would not explain my clothing, i am very confused...

Rose- you are not alone! I'm going through soo many of the same things. And like you said, the only thing that is stressful is the not knowing. I wish I could tell you something that would be helpful, but I just dont know. I never heard of one breast growing more rapidly, but I believe you. Good luck and please keep me posted!!
Anna- you said there was a faint line 2 hours after you took the test. What was the time limit on that test? Most of them say that they are only valid up to 10 minutes because then there can be an evaporation line or something. I'm sorry, I'm sure you know this already, but I guess I was just curious if you took a different kind of test or something. Please keep me posted, and I hope you get what you want!!

Chantal.... I have EXACTLT the same things as you do.. this is weird! But yeah, nausea every now and then boobs sore every now and then.. i don't know what's going on

yeah me neither..im going for a blood test if i miss my period again this month. If it comes out neg, im gonna ask for a thourough exam of my reproductive organs in case something else is wrong...

I am on a fertility drug called Clomid. I am now late for my period and I had a test on Wednesday it was negative. How late should I be b4 I test again?
I am always tired, I get up 3 or 4 times a night to pee, I constantly have headaches and gas.

I'm seven days late on my period and I've taken a number of tests and they all come back negative. I definitely feel pregnant. I have all the symptoms. My gag reflex is really sensitive, is that normal?

My period is now 6 days late. I took a test 2 days before my expected period and it was negative. I am not really having any pregnancy symtoms but some day its feel like my period is going to come on but it doesnt. Unlike most of the people hear, I don't want a baby, the timing is way off. But I am tired of worrying about it.
