Hi just wondering if anyone can shed any light- My husband and I are trying to conceive and I came off the pill in April and had a light period (lasted a day) 28 days later- this has continued every 28 days right up until July 30th where I was meant to be midcycle where I got a full period which lasted 10 days.My period was then due on the 26th August which was 28 days latrer but I haven't got it. I am now 5 days late and have done a HPT last night which was negative. I have been having a little headache every now and then and my breasts seem really heavy and yesterday I got really woozy at one point. Could I be pregnant and it is still to eraly to show up on the HPT? Please help

I am like 11 days late, have been having menstrual like cramps for almost 2 weeks but still no period. My breast are fuller and nipples a little tender. I was supposed to get AF July 22 & took for response test on the 21st but it was negative. So I am not sure if I am or not.

I'm in the same boat. I'm 14 days late. Took 2 hpt tests that turned out negative. Had blood test done and was told it was negative - hcg was low. I have sporadic spotting -brown/pink/red. Do you know anyone that get pregnant after having a negative blood test? Please advise. Thank you.

I'm Ten days late and have tried almost all tests out there and still have a negative result

Here's my story. It's been 1 1/2 months already since my last period which was on 7/17/05, which at that time I was on the pill. But then I stop taking the pills the following day. Since I had stop the pills, my period was suppose to start on 8/14 if I had been on the pill, but no sign of it ever came. After going through 4+ preg. tests, of which all came out negative, I decided to have myself checked with the doctor to see what the heck was going on. So my appt. was for 8/30, which consist of a urine and blood test. Surprisely, both the urine and blood test came out negative. But what's weird is that I've been feeling bloated almost all the time! My nipples are tender, and it almost feels like I urinate a lot at one time. It's not like I get the urge to go urinate every 5 minutes. This is all different to me since my 1st pregnancy ended in a m/c 3 years ago, which at the time I had all the preg. symptoms in the book. But with this one, I don't know if I am or not. My husband and I badly want to have a child. But I guess it's not easy as we think it is... you go off the pill and then you get pregnant. WRONG! Anyway, I'm going on to 2 months by the time Sept. 17th hits of not starting my period. If I don't get my period by the end of this month, I will definitely go back to the doctor's to have a checkup again. Can anyone relate to this or have any ideas?

I must say that I love the internet. Here I was thinking that I was all alone...then I found this site! I am approximately 3 weeks late (I don’t really pay attention to the dates f my periods) and 3 htps negative. Just found out today that an htp negative is only 50% certain versus 99% if it positive...I was quite surprised. I thought I had the flu the other day, with dizziness, nausea, and low-grade fever. It went away in less than 12 hours. I am now starting to feel so very tired. I feel like I need to nap all of the time. I am now starting to feel cramp-like pains, but they don't feel like my menstrual cramps. I dunno. I want to be pregnant, so I'm not sure if I'm manifesting the symptoms, or not. Anyway, if I don't start my period by next week, I’m going in for a blood test with the doctor. I‘m just glad to know that I am not alone.

Ok I'm now 2 1/2 weeks late, and I took five pregnancy tests and they were negitive!! Well I went to the doctors and took a blood test and it was also negitive!! No period sick all the time, breasts slightly hurt, emoitions like crazy!! I feel sad all the time and dont know if I'm pregnant or not!! My nurse also told me that I'm making myself eel sick or feel like i'm pregnant! She also stated that some woman make themselfs think in there mind that they are so much...that pregnancy signs come but its all in the mind!! Confused; I didnt know something could happen like that!!!

hi all! i have a 4 month old and had a c-sec (second time) and i have only had my period once since and that was last month around the first...still havent had one yet this month..hpt was negative any suggestions what could be going on???

In 1996, I swore I was pregnant. I had all the symptoms. Even a faint (extremely faint!) positive result from a hpt. But a blood test (I would have been about a week pregnant) came back negative. I was devastated. I felt betrayed by my body. A week after that, I still hadn't gotten my AF so I did another hpt in the middle of the afternoon and it was BFP. My son is now 9 1/2. I swear, you can't even count on blood tests anymore. However, most of us really do make ourselves believe we're pregnant. I'm even doing it to myself right now...and my husband had a vasectomy!!! I'm crampy, tired, bloated, weepy and have low back pain and extremely tender breasts (so tender that I can't walk too quickly). But my doctor thinks its endometriosis. So she put me on the pill. And I'm still having these symptoms! 3 negative hpt's and 1 negative blood test later, and I'm ready to jump off a bridge. I'm having an u/s done tomorrow.

Hi Ladies I had a blood test on Saturday after 50 days late and found out last night it was neg and would you believe I woke up this morning and I got my period! I really think I made my body beleive I was pregnant and when I found out for sure from the doctor my body knew and just let my period come - I dunno it sounds crazy huh? Any way my hubby and I will keep on trying! I guess thats the fun part! :)

My last period, although 5 days late, came on Aug. 12. I didn't think anything of it at the time, however now I realize it was very light and short - about half my normal cycle length. Well, now my cycle is 2 weeks late. I don't know what to think. I am usually like clockwork - except last month and now. I have not had sex at all since what I think might have been a period in August, but since I have not menstrated yet this month I took two HPT - both negative. I am concerned about why I have not yet cycled this month. Is it possible I could be pregnant even though I "cycled" last month and had two negatives?

Hey Ladies. Well, Im 24 days late now and didnt really think I was pregnant until now. Some of my friends told me that my mind could be playing tricks on me. It could be but I have NEVER missed my period and it is always on time. For me to be late even a day is extremely wierd. During the first 1 until now I get little cramps and when I think its my period and run to the bathroom, its clear discharge. My breasts seems really heavy and I feel pin like stabs in my breasts and my abdomin area. Nipples are just now getting sore, nasea, no vomitting, my feet are swollen and Ive gotten 3 neg results. I just want to know whats going on. I so confused that I dont want to even go back to the doctor. Its emotionally draining. My mom thinks I am since she was 3 months with me until she got a positive result. I think Im not pregnant but after reading these posts it seems like its not unusual for you to get negative then positive results. Im kinda thinking now I might be pregnant but I wish things were easlier so I can be prepared. Please keep me in prayer and I'll do the same. Keep u posted!

To Wondering, I am in the exact same boat as you. Two negatives and my last period was short and light. No sex since my last period too. I thought for sure I was since my boobs have been killing me for about a month now. The even feel and look bigger and I am really small!! I dont even drink caffine or eat too much chocolate, that always makes mine sore. Usually they are a little sore a few days before and then the day I start it goes away. This morning i woke up and my boobs wern't sore anymore. I am sure im going to get my period any day now. I sure did go crazy all month with tests and feeling my boobs constantly, looking at my cm and reading all these formus thinking and hoping maybe I could be. Now im convinced it was all in my head and I am going back to beliving I am not when my period comes and my tests are negative!!! Let me know what happens to you..I love to hear all the final outcomes to everyones stories!!! Maybe one day...wishing lots and lots of baby dust to you all!!!!!!!!
