Hi my period is 4 days late, i know its not much but i took a first response test and it was negative. I have sore breasts and some cramping but not much. My periods are pretty much always regular. Im hoping I may be pregnant, Ive been trying for two years. Should I wait and take another test in a week?

I have the same problem -- my husband and I would like to be pregnant but have not begun to actively try but I am now 10 days late for my period. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests and all have been negative. I have wierd symptoms that I am not used to - but I can't tell if I am just being overly paranoid!! I am tired a lot, gassy and constipated (off and on) and I don't feel too good in the mornings or at night. Some friends of mine told me that there's no way that I could be pregnant after 3 neg hpt, but then I found this website...what should I do?

My husband and I have been trying for about a year now. I always have a regular period every 28 days. My period this month was less than half of what it usually is. I have been really tired, having headaches about everyday, been extremely constipated with lots of gas. I am now started to feel a little nasuea in the morning. Now I am started to get some white mucas discharge. My boobs do not hurt at all. I took 2 hpt after my spotting and they both said neg. I guess I will wait another 2 weeks and see how my next cycle is. Any help would be great.

hi i feel your pain completely trust me you're exhausted from simply worrying.i was 2 months late with every symptom exept morning sickness, plus took all kinds of hpts but still late i was very dissapointed and so confused. because all my friends could come up with posative results right away but not me well make a long story short af came just a min. ago and i'm so realived. so what i'm saying is give it a few more days and you well could be pregnant. but like me you can stress out soooo much, lol that your body tricks you and you'll start hav ing symptoms trust me it happened to me but just rest and don't strees everything will turn out give it time. what i did was take a test about every 2 weeks so hang in there hun. good luck!!!! xoxo

hi everyone! Im having a similar problem. Right after I ended last month I had this akward discharge and my doctors nurse told me to test. neg. Now I am 5 days late and I tested again. neg. what is up ? Everyones advice has been helpful. Im just worried becuz Im always right on schedule.

Hi all, i am 23 and recently married and trying for a baby. i am in the same boat as most of you. i am over three weeks late and all tests are negative, one week after my period was due i had light spotting thats when i suspected i was pregnant, i wasted so much on tests that now i decided one test per week. i was told some people just dont show a positive sign until they are three months pregnant. I am very frustrated, i have a doctors appointment on tuesday and i will mention to her my problem and see what she has to say. Please i need the support from other woman who are going or went through same thing. Baby dust to all xxxxxx

hey everyone...i'm still late and havent been able to go to the doctor..i hope i can go this week...but someone mentioned rearlier about not showing positive untill three mo. Thats what happened to my friend...she had a million hpt ..and even blood test...but still no period....eventually sdhe had a sonogram at three months..and there it was...a baby...so now i dont know what to think..i'v had a total of 8 hpt and all are negatiove yet i still havent gotten my period...anywyas...i dont think i can be trivking myself into thinking that i am..becaise i honsetly dont wan to be at this time in my life..i just broke up w/ my boy friend last month...

Hi all, what a wonderful site this is. I am only 3 days late for my period but I am usually like clock work from month to month. My husband and I have been trying for three months now so like many others am hopefull on a positive outcome. I took a test the day after my period was due and it came out straight away negative, my husband thinks I took it too early and should forget about it for a week but you no how it is you just want to no now. I always thought that as soon as you missed your period that it was a sure sign and the test would be correct. My symtems are that I am urinating more often, really bad back pain and adominal cramps and also more cleary white discharge. My breasts have also been feeling a bit strange but not sore. I feel like each day is an eternity without noing the results. I am unsure how long I should wait to go to the doctor or how long I can just set around wondering as I am constantly thinking about it which tires me out. I am to be pregnant so bad that maybe I am thinking about it too much and I am experiencing a false preganancy.............help help any suggesting welcome.

Hi Ange, i wish you do turn out positive but dont worry, i have not had a period for 4 weeks now and i had over a dozen hpt and all negative, dont test until you are late by one week. Not all people show positive straight away. i talked to my nurse few days ago she told me to wait another week before going to see the doctor, she told me to test once a week and also she told me that pharmacy tests are more accurate than the urine test that doctors do. Just dont worry and be patient. test in one week. Good luck. I will be going to see the doctor tuesday, on tuesday i will do another hpt before going to see my GP.

Hi Kim, 4 WEEKS overdue that would drive me insane. I hope you find out soon. The frustrating thing about it is it is all you think about day and night, I wish I could stop myself from thinking about it but I can't. Phoned my doctors this morning and spoke with the nurse their. She told me to take a test on Wed and then if I still get a negative result and still have no period she is going to give me a blood test on Thursday.......roll on Wednesday. Will keep you informed. Hi Ange, frustrated tell me about it i used to do a test everday now i limited it to one or two a week, at first i was having no symptoms right now i feel like i am dying. i had head headaches all weekend, now its 2 am and i cant sleep from the headache. I am also feeling nausea at the moment, felt it yesterday i even vomited yesterday at first i thought i over ate or something else like from moving around after eating. But now nausea and this headache its killing me i cant sleep. I am too scared to take paracetemols just incase i am pregnant. I dont know what to do about these headaches.

Hi Kim, I feel for you I really do I have been experiencing really bad back pain, it will come and go and come and go. You can take panadol as I asked my nurse about it but I don't think you can take anything else. Where do you live as I am in invercargill New Zealand and it is 3.32pm I am at work and wish I was at home lying on the couch. If I were you I would be going to the doctors as soon as possible so you can get a blood test to confirm as if you are not their could be something else wrong. If you have panadol take some as you shouldn't have to be in that much pain. From what you have describe its sounds like you are pregnant but then again who no's strange things happen aye. I have been feeling really tired the last couple of days. I already have a daughter and I remember when I fell pregnant with her it wasn't like this. I found out when I was 5 weeks pregnant and had the best pregnancy with no morning sickness or anything it was fabulous, bugger it I will probably be sick the whole way throught this one if I am lol lol

In Aug, Sept, and Oct I had light 3 day periods. Ive had heavy seven day periods since I was 10. I havent had one since Oct 24th. My tummy is growing larger and harder. My hubby and I have both felt movement in multiple places at the same time. Friends tell me I may have twins. I'm sick almost everyday. My breasts are fuller and sore. BUT I've done 4 hpt and all were neg. I have had one baby before and it feels all the same just sooner and more. Any ideas?

To Ange, I am in UK i have a doctors appointment on tuesday i wish she would give me a blood test. I cant wait till tomorrow. I have been doing a lot of reading on pregnancies and each pregnancy is different. i wish you will go through this once easily and have a beautiful healthy baby. Tomorrow i will do another test i am CD60 today and hormones are at maximum between day 60 and 90. Good luck to all

4 Weeks late and still no period, Doctor told me to wait another 2-3 weeks and then if still no period take another test if thats still negative to go and see her.
I will forget about it and take another test after 4 weeks from today.
