HELP - Just to let you know that I was put onto a corticosteriod just over 3 weeks ago. I am now 16 days late and normally very regular. Did a HPT on Saturday (about the 4th one I've done) and negative. I have been told that it would be too soon for the steroid to have an effect on your cycle. Let me know if you find anything out about the impact of steriods.

My period is over a week late and I took a hpt and it came back negative. Today I had some brownish pink on the toilet paper. Could that be implantation bleeding or my period? Anyone with the same problem?

So glad I found this post!! I'm 8 days late today, have taken 4 hpt's and they've all been negative. I've had some cramping and have been tired... but some of that is probably from all the stress!! Went in y'day and had a BT done... hope to get the results today, tomorrow at the latest. I'll let you all know what I find out.

I am at day 34 of my cycle and still nothing. I am usually about 28-30 days, so not sure what is going on. We are definitly trying so I could be. I have had some mild cramping for 2 days now, but it is on and off. I am extremely tired and am having headaches. I am feeling dizzy and have been sick to my stomach once. I have taken 2 tests at home and both negative. Thoughts?

Oh my gosh! I am so excited to find out that I may still be pregnant! I am 3 days late. I ovulated on Oct.3 or 4 (used an OPK) and should have started the 18th. I have taken 4 tests and they have all been negative. I just thought my period was late, but it is showing no signs of appearing. I always have PMS. I have had a clear discharge for about a week now. I have also been peeing like crazy and so tired, but other than a few mornings of random nasuea, no other symptoms. I will hang in there and hope I see a + soon! Good Luck to all of you!

No answer. I'm 11 days late. I initially had 4 negative line tests, then bought a digital test that said "Pregnant." so went to pregnancy center to confirm, but their urine test came out negative. went back this morning and negative again. sore boobs and gassy, and i was unusually hot sleeping last night, same temp, same fan. i'm so confused. i feel like an emotional rollercoaster. any advice? what have been ya'lls results?

Just thought I'd let you all know my situation since I found this thread really helpful. My period is now almost 2 weeks late & I've taken 3 hpts -- 2 of which showed negative and the third didn't work (no lines at all). I spoke to the nurse at work who suggested that I wait at least a week, maybe two after a missed period before taking these tests because the hormone level in most women doesn't appear for that length of time. Just thought I'd pass that on -- I know it's hard but try and wait a while before taking these tests... after waiting just over a week, I took another test and it's positive!! (Remember, those tests are more likely to give false negatives than false positives!!) Good luck everyone!

I am glad i have found this post :))) Well we have been trying for a baby for 11 months. Once i got off the pill my periods became very irregular so it's very hard. i was expecting my period 3 days ago. i don't know if i am pregnant or irregular. The pregnancy test shows neg.

Well my period is about 2 weeks late and i am really worried. I have 2 kids now and i can't deal with another right now. I took a test 3 days ago and it was negative. In the past when i was pregnant they were always correct. So I am not sure what to think. My period is usually always on time.I am really nervous.

I was so happy to hear that there are other women out there experiencing the same thing I am. I am 13 days late and all 4 of my pregnancy tests came back negative. I just got married two weeks ago and I don't know if the stress of the big day set me back. I am usually regualar for two months in a row and then off by 4 days the next. Well last month I was off 4 days which would of made this one right on time. I have been this late one time before. My husband and I try to be careful but I guess you can't ever be too careful. Any advice?

My period is 3weeks late but I've taken 4 hpt's and they've all come back negative. I have some of the symptoms; my breast are bigger and unbearably sore, the veins on my breast are more noticeable, I have to pee all day, for the last two weeks I've been tired throughout the day and have to nap, I'm also starting to gain weight suddenly and am having discharge. I don't know what to think; everyone i talk to says that if the HPT's are negative then im not pregnant but they can't explain why my periods so late, when ive been regular for years and what these symptoms are. DOes anyone know which HPT is the most accurate so i can try that in a few days? Thanks

Worried, I would suggest getting a blood test at the doctor's office. They are more accurate than a urine test.

Hi everyone - well like you all i'm in the same position. I'm 12 days late and have had four negative tests but have quite a few symptoms like swollen breasts with very prominent veins, low back pain and lots and lots of peeing!! I've also noticed that my urine is a different colour than normal. However I've been to my Dr. who says that it isn't impossible to be pregnant and never have a positive pregnancy test - he says he has at least one patient who has four children and has never tested positive!! So there's hope for everyone on this site - good luck to you all

Hello ladies, I too am 4 days late with 3 negative HPT. Going to the dr this aft to do a bt (fingers crossed). Haven't had many symptoms, just headaches and sore breasts. I'll keep you posted re the bt. Thanks for sharing your experiences-- it's extremely helpful : O )
