hi again everyone. I finally got into the dr. last night. I still haven't had a period with my last one being June 7th. So its been 2 and a half months. My dr. was great and is doing a full workup on it. First of all they gave me a urine preg. test which came back negative. Then he gave me an internal exam. After that I went to the lab for a blood preg. test (which i'm sure will be neg). I have to call on Thursday for my results. When that comes back neg. then he gave me a prescription to start provera pills for 5 days. Within 10 days of doing that i should start my period. I also have to go in for an ultrasound so he can check for any possible cysts of tumors just to rule that out. When i start my period i will go back in on day 4 or 5 and he will give me a prescription for some fertility pills to make sure i ovulate. So that is the plan and we'll take it from there. Me and hubby said whatever happens happens...if i get preggo great if not then i'm not going to stress out about it. So there is just a little info for ya guys that are having the same problems. My dr. was great and sat down and talked to me about the whole situation. He don't have an answer as to why it stopped. I've lost weight i've been eating healthy and working out a little. If nothing shows on the ultrasound then he said he don't have a reason all he can do is help me get my cycle back started again so that is what he'll do. Good luck to any of you that is also having this. My advice would be go to the dr. I will keep you guys updated on everything that happens. If this help just one person at least then that will be great. So I'll let you know about the blood test results tomorrow and i'll let you know if the provera pills worked. Good luck to all!!!!

Joanna - i also went in 1 1/2 weeks ago and got a blood test - still negative. I was put on provera for 10 days and they said I should start my period by then. I am on day 10 - still no period. I don't know if I can wait 2 1/ 2 months to get my period. It's been 7 weeks since my last period. I'm supposed to call them if I haven't gotten my period after 10 days. Guess I'll be seeing my doctor again soon.

I am so glad I am not the only one with the late period, negative test. Maybe I just really want to be pregnant. 5 days late...I am so glad I found this page.

hi again..sorry its been so long...we've moved so its been crazy. Also my dr. went on vacation so he postponed my treatments til he got back. So he finally put me on provera...2 time a day for 5 days and i should start within 10 days. On day 4 after i start i go back in and he's gonna put me on fertility pills. So now we're just waiting for the provera to work. I'll let ya know...good luck to all. And Maribel if you read this let me know how you're doing and if you even started. Be back soon!!!

I took Provera for 10 days and I got my period about 3-4 days after that. It wasn't very heavy so it almost seemed like 1 day of bleeding and then mostly spotting. That's pretty much all the doctor told me to do. Last Tuesday was the day I was supposed to have the baby (that I miscarried earlier this year). It was pretty depressing, especially since next month will be one year since I stopped taking the Pill. I think the stress (with work & trying to get pregnant) is contributing to me getting pregnant. Not sure if I want to go through fertifility pills. I don't know much about that subject, and my doctor hasn't even mentioned that. They just wanted me to have my period. Guess I'll have to keep trying and see what happens . . .

well at least getting your period is a start. I'm waiting for mine, but i've only been on the provera for 3 days now. The day is was supposed to have my baby is coming up in 10 days so its starting to hit me. The last time i went to dr. he asked if i still wanted to try to have another baby and i said i wouldn't mind. so he said lets try the fertility pills to see if that helps. So right now i'm looking at it as lets give it one more try and whatever happens happens. If I don't get pregnant then it just wasn't meant to be but i'm gonna stop stressing myself out over this process. I also think that is part of the problem. I've been obsessing about having another one since i lost the baby back in february so i think its time to relax. Its all in God's hands now. Ok so I'm lost....With my first pregnacy i knew right away that I was pregnant by a home test. I'm 4 days late the home test EPT and clear blue easy are comming back negative. I took a test today and it had a slight second line. The doctor did a urine but he hasn't called me back like he was supposed to and I'm thinking it came back negative and that I'm gonna have to take a blood test. I'm always on time. 28 days liek clock work. The only signs I've been having are the sore nipples the discharge and being really tired. I don't know could I be pregnant? maybe? If anyeone can help it would be great.

Thanks for the prayers Joanna - I will certainly do the same for you. I just have one daughter and hope to have at least one more. I have also decided that whatever happens is God's plan. Sometimes I am ok with that, but other times I am very sad. Did you start the fertility pills?

I have not started the fertility pills yet. I just started my period today from taking the provera (which today happens to be the day i was due if i wouldn't have miscarried..kinda wierd). I go to the dr. on Monday and will start my fertility pills on Monday so we'll see what happens. Anything for you yet Maribel...i know you said you finally started your period from the provera too but anything else so far??

Good luck on the fertility pills. Let me know what happens. Nothing for me yet. Like you said, whatever happens, happens. In the meantime, I am trying not to be so jealous because so many people I know are pregnant and will be having their babies soon. I feel that it's a little insensitive when people keep asking when I'm going to have one when everyone knows I lost the last one. It's hard to explain to people that it's not that I don't want one, it's that I can't get pregnant. Oh well, I should have my period again next week. Hopefully it's on time this time!

i ended my last period on the 4th or 5th of september. i had sex on the 8th. i was supposed to start my period on the 28th of september, so im 13 days late. i have a clear discharge. soon after i had sex, i was nauseas all the time, but now i dont have any pregnancy signs, although i am tired. could anyone have any suggestions as to what could be wrong. i took a home pregnancy test on the 7th and it said negative. everytime i think im starting my period and go to the toilet, then its just clear slime. sorry for the details, just need to know whats happening.please help

My period is over two months late. I took numerous hpt but all nagative. I dont' know if i'm preganant or the missed period(s) os due to thyroid disorder. Does anyone know how soon after ttc can you take hpt if you've already missed your period? I know i can have a blood test done. But i'm scared the result would be negative and i'll be devastated. i soo badly want to have a baby. Please help.

a preg test is pretty accutate the day of a missed period, but some dont test positive for sometimes a week or two later. 2months is a long time to still be testing negative. i think a doctors appointment would be a good thing right now to see whats happening

Please help me!! I'm 2 1/2 weeks late for my period. Since my missed period I have taken 2 hpts and both came up negative, then I went to a clinic and they did a urine test and that came up negative also. I feel perfectly fine though, No symptoms at all! I've been off birth control for about 3 months now, and my periods have been somewhat irregular, but nothing like this. Someone please tell me whats up!

ok so i have most of all the pregnancy sings but i have taken four at home pregnancy test and all came up negative i dont really know when my period is b/c im on depo and if i am pregnant i would be about 2 months i even thew up a little the other night but feel fine so i know im not sick ive got sore and swollon breast i pee way more often than i did and im always tired all i want to do is sleep so please somone tell me if i could be pregnant b/c i dont know
