I talked to my friend today who is a nurse. I learned so much! I have a 33 day cycle and informed her I was 3 days late. Wrong! She said I am one week late! She said wether I have a 28 day cycle or 33 that when you are considering if you are late, to work from a 28 day cycle regardless of how long your cycle is. She also informed me that HPTs are very rarely reliable in the first week of being late. She told me not to bother testing again until I am 3 weeks late! Good Luck to you all, may you not be nearly as crazy as I am with the waiting!

hi teeya i am also late 18 days and 3 BFN but i will be going to the docters on wednesday to find out whats going on i have never been this late ever. i have lots of symptoms what about u?

My last period was Nov. 24--I have had my tubes tied and wonder if anyone out there has gotten pregnant after having their tubes tied? I have taken 2 HPT but they were neg--however my breasts are so sore, I am nauseaus and tired and moody--I feel pregnant. Advice please.

Hi tera, this may help i am 5 days late too with 4 negative tests. My doctor says that as i am ttc and that i am otherwise healthy and hav regular periods that the chances are that i am pregnant, but there isn't enough hcg yet to give a positive test. i have few symptoms - v tired, ache in lower back and this morning felt a little sick - could be the anticipation - Honestly i feel like i'm waiting to do an exam or to go into an interview!!! Doctor said to do another test at the weekend. fingers crossed it's positive. i hope everyone gets the results they want too!

I am 4 days late but I spotted brown discharge the 1st 2 days which was kinda weird I thought my period would have followed but no cramps....no nothing.

I had the same problem as all of you. My last proper period was on 19th Nov. 2 weeks later I spotted for 3 days very lightly then nothing. I went to the doctor after 6 weeks who told me if the test is negative then it is likely I will get a period. 2 weeks later (almost to the day I would have had another missed period) I came on. I was hoping to be pregnant and it is very dissapointing but just gotta keep trying. I have heard of people not knowing they were pregnant for 3 months though.

I am having the same problem as well... seems to be lots of us in the same boat. My period is like clock work, a 30-day cycle and I am now almost 5 days late and no period. I've taken 2 pregnancy test, even one in the morning when it's supposedly suppose to more accurate but it was negative. I've been nauseos, tender breasts, dizzyness, and unfortunately gaining weight. I have no reason to be stressed out, maybe psyched out over thinking I'm pregnant but I don't think that would affect it. So I just don't know... I guess another pregnancy test is in the near future.

I'm in the same boat. Every HPT I've taken has come back negative. I'm now 4 days late. I went in yesterday for a blood test so I should have the results back tomorrow. The wait is killing me but the fact that I haven't gotten my period is really bugging me.

I'm in your same situation, just that I'm already 8 weeks late, and all my hpt's were negative. If you really think there is a big chance you can be pregnant, I think you should make an apt. with your Dr. and ask for a blood test. I have my apt. next week. Good luck to you.!!

I had a miscarrage, had a baby, and then had a miscarriage (4 months pregnant). After almost a year we're trying again. I'm never late and it's been 4 LONG Days!!! I've taken about 20 test and all say negative??? I've been pregant 3 times and this feels the same. I'm calling my doctor tomorrow.

No need to go to the doctor. On the 5th day I started. I just couldn't believe it. I totally felt like I was pregnant.

I was pregnant last year and I had to take three pregnancy tests. They all had a barely visible line but I was pregnant. My hcg levels weren't rising as much as they should have been.(tripling every couple days) and I ended up miscarrying a week later. I bought all brand name tests but I dont think it makes a difference.

I'm having the same problem and i was wondering from all the people that answered or yourself... did you ever find out if you were pregnant or not?

Has anyone heard of a blood test being wrong? Like, taking a blood test too soon or something like that? I have been trying to conceive and been off birth control for 3 months (in which all those cycles were dead on time) and I'm 9 days late... i took a blood test when i was about 4 days late and it said negative, i took an EPT today and it said negative... so where's my period?

I'm 4 days late. I had BAD cramping 6 days ago and I thought AF was going to come any min. but it never did. I have a 3yr old and I feel like I did when I was pregnant before. about 1 week after O I it was light pink when I whiped, I thought maybe early AF but after a little research maybe implation bleeding? What do youi guys think?? I'm not TTC but now I'm kinda hoping I am PG! I don't wanna get my hopes up.
