i'm having the same problem as most of you are. I was supposed to start my period on July 12th and nothing happened so i took a pregnancy test on July 23rd and it came back negative so i took another test on July 29th (in the afternoon) and another one on 30th (in the morning) and all negative. I have had some cramps like i'm going to start my period and my breasts have been incredibly sore and swollen i know they usually swell up around 2-3 days before i start and it usually calms down around 2-3 days after i start but they have been swollen the whole 2 weeks now. I have had some constipation but no nausea and i'm not even tired. I have never been this late before if im really stressed out it will push back between 3-5 days but i have nothing to be stressed out about. My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex almost everyday and he didn't pull out so it could be a possibility that i might be pregnant but i don't know if im just stressing about it too much or why these test keep coming back negative.

hello ladies- i was told before that if late by ten days is usually a baby in some cases. i dont like to give false hope on nothing. i read on other forums where some women test to soon and get negatives and they are actually pregnant, one girl said her pregnant test didnt show up til she was like 3-4 months along, so its different for different women, some of us the test show immediately, but it depends on how much pg hormone is in the body at the time, ladies try not to stress, take a deep breath, listen to some relaxing music and take it easy, just always keep good spirits and faith, and dont give up best luck to all and lots of baby dust.

Hey Girls, I am Only 3 Days late, i have done several tests but getting faint positives i have had this happen before and ended up having an AF (even though i read the test in 3 minutes only) The only thing i can sayGirls, if it driving you insane which i can see for most of you it is, then go to your doctor, they will do both the urine and the blood test, If they both come back negative and it's been nearly a week since your AF then they will investigate more in to it, they will perform tests and U/S just to make sure. Iether way there is nothing else you can do, If your using a 1 kind of pregnancy test, then try another some have higher sensetivity Levels,or use a Digital. And always try not to confuse AF symptoms with Pregnancy symptons, i have been pregnant before I never once had sore breasts, constipation drowsiness or any of such, it was because i didnt have these symptoms that i knew something was up, and lucky for me my body gives me the biggest clue when something is up, I break out in Hives (a skin rash), it's just how my body reacts to chmical changes an physical changes. So every person is different but be honest with yourselves, I dont mean to sound Harsh but try and see things more simply, if you get a period your more than Likely not pregnant, if you dont, then you iether are or something is delaying it. It could even be miscalculation of days, who knows. Some women will just "Know" They are, like a switch that goes on in the brain, Remember as well Stressing about it, is also not a good thing, as not only is believed to be a cause of late periods, plus if you are pregnant you are as the mother are putting a risk on your nborn child, relax if you are freaking out still, then go to your Gp, thats all you can do. Best of Luck and Baby Dust for all ****

Hello Ladies!
Hope this finds everyone doing well. I am a little lost and looking for help and hope. I had some strange bleeding, nothing like a period about 3 or so days before I was going to start my AF. It never picked up, just light spotting. It only last about 4 days. I figured, YAY! finally pregnant. Well, took at test this morning (first response) and it came out negative :( My breasts have been growing like never before. I'm not on BC. haven't been for a couple of months. I am a very small body type. I am 5'8'' and about 107lbs. Its VERY RARE that my breasts grow, and I have lost a little weight because of abdominal discomfort when I eat more than a small handful of food, so I thought for sure they shouldn't be growing. I guess what I'm wondering is, if you have a smaller body type, and pretty low blood pressure, would this affect the level of hormones in your body and in turn affect the pg test? Any help, advise, similar thoughts or events are welcome! Baby Love to you all!

LauraLynn, I just read your post, and I thought that I try and give you hope! Don't worry... there is a time for everything. with constant bleeding for several months and then painful periods, it almost sounds ectopic. if you burst a tube, it bleeds forever, or until fixed. periods would be painful.etc... Try not to stress too much. It is all in the Lords time, and it seems like when we let go of the things that are hard and give the situation to the "BIG GUY" aka Our Father in Heaven, it always seems to work out! :) I'll keep you in my prayers for your comfort. Always remember too that there are thousands of babies out there that want a Loving and caring Mommy and Daddy who want them. I know that its probably not your first choice, but it is a choice. Baby wishes to you my dear. Trust that everything will work out, in due time! :)
Sincerely, The Little One aka Shea

I am in the same situation. My last AF was on June 21st. My cycles have been 34 days since I had my son in September of 2006. I was suppose to start on July 25th but I am now 7 days late. I took a pg test on Monday and the results were negative and I took another test today and the results were still negative. I have been feeling sick to my stomach late at night and in the morning and I have really bad heart burn. I wish I just new what was going on. I am really not ready to have another baby cuz my 10 month old just started walking and I hoped to wait til he was 2 to start trying again. I wish I new what was going on

I am a week late and have been nauseous, had lower stomach twinges and just feeling out of sorts. I took a test a few days ago and another today and its negative. My usual PM symptoms arent there so it isnt that.
I am confused on whats going on. Hopefully i am pregnant but if i am not then i am wondering what the heck is going on !

rivera84 - August 8th, 2007 12:57 PM

I am on the same boat.. my last period was june 20th took 3 pregnancy test and a blood test all negative im very worried and anxious to know what is going on. I get cramps and I feel nauseus at times not a lot though and my breast hurt. When i touch my stomach doesnt feel like anything usually they say your stomach feels a little hard mine does not.. Im stressing myself out wonering whats going on

VirginiaGirl - August 8th, 2007 2:32 PM

Anybody have any developments (i.e. positive HPTs!) or other answers since the last postings? Rivera, I am in your boat - my last period was June 23 and I am always VERY regular at 26 day cycles, and now I'm on CD45? Negative HPTs as of my last test 2 days ago! NO idea what's going on, my OB said 'stress' though she didn't even test for pregnancy or do an exam, much less even take my temp or blood pressure.. she said if my period doesn't come back in 2 weeks, I'm supposed to take progesterone to kick-start it. I'm annoyed, thinking if I have some underlying thyroid issue or other problem that's affecting my cycle, she's just treating a symptom & not bothering to find out the real problem. Anyone have any similar experience??? I don't trust the advice I got from the OB or her psychic diagnosis of stress! I mean, it likely could be stress, but I'd think they'd want to rule out other things before making that judgment!

rivera84 - August 8th, 2007 3:09 PM

only thing i can tell u Virginiagirl is go to a different doctor since yours is not helping you. Doctors always normally check your blood pressure on your visits at least mine does.Seems like your doct is lacking experience.. Really make an appt else where and request a blood test do not take anything until you get advice from somebody else. Good luck

Marybeth - August 12th, 2007 11:23 PM

Hi Ladies! I'm so glad I found this site! I'm 12 days late, I've taken a few hpt, all negative. This would be my third cycle after getting off of BC. My first two periods were normal, both 24 day cycles. I've felt nauseous a few times and had some backaches, but other than that I've felt fine. When I called the doctor she said that if I don't get a period within the next week that I should come in so they can start me on medicine to get my period. Shouldn't they test me to see if I'm pregnant first? Am I supposed to just give up after so many days have passed?

smccaleb06 - August 14th, 2007 1:06 AM

I am in the waiting game as well. I have read everyones story on here and it gives me some hope. Heres my story maybe you all could give me some advice, i would greatly appreciate it. AF is now 2 weeks late. Took a pregnancy test last friday and it was a BFN--i used first response. My nipples seem very sensitive and i am eating a lot more than normal. My cycles have always been 28 days... it has now been 44 days since my last period. ANY ADVICE??

intuition11 - August 14th, 2007 8:23 AM

Hi guys (I mean gals:)

I know what you're going through. I myself have been having many preggo symptoms, a very short, spotty, late period (if it was one), and negative urine tests (3 so far). My period is late again this month 4 days already. I had a much less convincing case of feeling pregnant one time before, only to be disappointed when I found I was not and annoyed by medical professionals who didn't seem to take me seriously. Scientists, after all, notoriously rely on evidence gleened from the 5 senses and not the feelings and knowledge of our bodies that we do as women. Yes, that time I was mistaken, but the point is most women in my place, given my symptoms, would've thought similarly-you girls are living proof. Just so you guys know, I have done alot of researching myself, both on the web and from books. It is not as oddballs as many doctors would have you believe to be pregnant and not be able to get a positive result, especially on urine tests. My own ob-gyn said she needed a blood test to confiirm her 7 week pregnancy. I have read more than one story in forums about women, even months pregnant, who could not get a positive result on even a blood test. Some women apparently are slower to produce hcg. The other thing you should know is that other things can give you what to us would seem like preggo symptoms: thyroid conditions, gastrointestinal probs, PMS, even age-related hormonal changes (including perimenopause). If I can, I'll give you guys web addresses in a different post. I should tell though that you have to read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" I had heard reference to it on other sites and not paid much attention, but I recently bought it and found out alot of interesting info. Has anyone read it? Anyone have any thoughts on any of this?

intuition11 - August 14th, 2007 8:36 AM

By the way, yes, Marybeth, Ithink your doctor should give you a blood test. Given what I know, I would wait a few more days or even a week (I know, agonizing) to be sure that your hcg has had a chance to go up if you were preggo. Then I would go to your doctor again and tell her that you want a blood test to rule out pregnancy before going on meds to start your period. I never had a positive result on an hpt and my doctor sent me for a blood test first, then an ultrasound a little later when my symptoms did not stop (eventually they did-I don't know for sure to this day what had been going on). I hope this helps even a little.
