I too am in the same boat. 1 week and 1 day late but got negative on the pregnancy tests. I want very much to be pregnant.

as one doctor told me no one knows your body better than you. listen to your body and believe what it tells you. inspite of what the plastic tests have indicated i know how i feel i am a mother of one and i know that i am now pregnant

Thank you Shars, I am feeling better knowing that there might be a chance of me still being pregnant. I already called my husband and told him that there still may be a chance and that I will take a test 1 a week untill a posititve sign or my menstrul starts. We have been trying for a while and conceived once but miscarried a 3 weeks. Thank you for some hope.

I've had this low grade fever or 99.5 for almost two weeks now. I thought I was pregnant for sure, took the First Response a day before my expected period and Fact Plus a day after my expected period and both were negative. I made an appointment to see my doctor tomorrow because if I'm not pregnant, something's definitely wrong with my body! You should listen to the signs your body's telling you. I was feeling dizzy, nauseous, bloated, backaches, all signs of pregnancy, but the HPT showed negative. I will speak to my doctor and see what she says! It's very frustrating isn't it?

I am having the same problem as everyone else. My husband and I am ttc. I haven't been stressed really. About a day before I was supposed to have started my period I had very mild lower abdominal pinches. I also felt very nauseated the day I was supposed to start my period. Yesterday morning I had that metallic taste in my mouth and a little bit of head aches. Been only 3 days late and 2 negatives pregnancy tests so far. I've been reading up and lots of websites said that you should wait at least a week or two after missed period. I've been having some symtoms as you can see but no sore boobies yet. Can some one let me know if it's still possible I could be pregnant? And just wait for a week or 2 after missed period. Suggestions please!!!!

i know it's very frustrating. i am too. i hope all works out for you. my boobs aren't sore but they are feeling and looking a little full. i do totally belive that you should listen to your body but it's a little discouraging when you get a neg. hpt. if you have any input to me or any one else please let me know.

hi Nan, yeah if I hear anything from the doctor I will be sure to let everyone know! This is taking a toll on me..jus the lack of assurance and not knowing what's going on. I can't concentrate at work!!! I have a little girl and when I found out I was pregnant with her I was a week late into my period. I had all the visible signs of pregnancy but had no idea I was pregnant until I took the HPT a week after my missed period. I guess sometimes it will take that long. My husband and I want our second child really bad, so maybe just hoping to get pregnant is setting off some "false" alert into my head "convincing" me I'm pregnant...so confused...

hi every one now 2 week late today did another test this morning came back negative not at all suprized am at the doctors on the 2/8/05 for another test if that comes back negative then there gonna take my blood gettin all the signs of pregnancy but dont wont to get my hopes up i keep thinkin theres something wrong with me my partner thinks i am pregnant but i cant help the way im thinking keep waking up with heart burn every night and feeling sick other syptoms im getting is back ache feeling bloated head aches going dizzy and feeling faint im even craving cheese please let me know wat u think and i'll also let u all know how i get on at the doctors

hi, i have 2 chidren already and got pregnant with them both in thr first month of trying!! me and my husbabnd have been trying for our 3rd for 6 months and still nothing!! i really though i was this month i was due on today and got a neg from first response this afternoon im so gutted i cant believe it! if i do another one in the morniing do u think it will come up pos?? has this happened to nay body before?? thanks nikkie xx

thanks for responding back. When i was 17 i got pregnant (2 mths. will be 24), i had all of the pregnancy signs possible, every one and any one you can think of. But I decided to abort. Now that i am married, ready, and settled down i want to have a child and start my family more than anything. I read on a website that this woman tested a day after her period and 2 days after that, both were neg. but she waited and tested a week later (10 days total) she final got a positive, so i guess there's still hope.

hi well i have been doing lots of reading and i heard instead of using first response equate (walmart brand) or even cvs is much better because they measure about 25 hcg mUI/ml. whereas first response measures 50 hcg mUI/ml. so you would have to wait a little long with the first response to get a positive test. I'm in the same boat as you can see and i guess i'll wait another week until i'll test again.

Well I was 17 days late as of last night and I started to bleed a little.
Earlier that day I did a preg. test and received a faint positive. Today I was still bleeding, but not anywhere as much as a normal period, but bright red. I had a sore stomach (like cramps) and a backache (that's lasted 2 days now) I am so frustrated and I have no idea what is going on. :(

Do evaporation lines only show up after the alotted time expires (that you are suppose to go by for accurate test) ?? Is that what an evaporation line is ?

I have had the same thing happen to me, so it is nice to know I'm not alone! I was suppose to get my period last Sunday, July 24th,and I totally felt like it was coming...cramps, sore BB, emotional..but it never came. NOw it is one week later, and two negatie pregnancy tests later, and still no period!!! My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over 6 months now, so I'm really hoping this may be the month. But I can't help to think that if I'm not pregnant, then what is wrong??? Hopefully I'll find out soon...

I am now two days late which doesn't sound like much I'm sure, but I'm never late. I have three kids now and my husband and I really want one more. With my other kids I found out before my period was due by a couple of days that I was pregnant with the HPT'S. I have taken four so far, two fact plus and two early response and all were negative. I don't know if I should call the doctor tomorrow and get a blood test or just wait another few days and take my last test I have left. Is there really a possibility I could be pregnant and not have enough hcg yet?

my dr. told me that it can take up to 2wks late before your body has enough hcg to detect on the preg. test. Some women can take longer. We're all different. I know it's annoying, but you need to wait atleast 10 days before trying again. (that's what my dr. told me.) Not to keep wasting money on buying tests. only 1 test every 10 days. (myself, I still couldn't wait THAT long!!) Good luck!
