The same thing is happening to me. I am a week late as of today. Two pregnancy tests, earliest as of yesterday, read negative. I don't know what's going on either.

Oh Ghosh! Having sore throat feels like I am getting cold and fever. Unsure if it is a pg symptom or any other problem.. Would like to know if anyone else had this?

I have had my period every 28 days since I was 12. I am now 25 and trying to conceive my first child. I am currently 8 days late and took my first pregnancy test today. I have been falling asleep around 9:30pm every night, had swollen breasts, nausea, and cramping etc etc. I was so excited to tell me husband the news today, however when i took the test it came out negative. Has anyone on this site ever been late, failed a pregnancy test and then been pregnant after all? Please let me know, I'm very confused and sad today.

still waiting for my results!! want a postive so bad. if it is a negative i will be so thrown. i now have tender breasts and physically been sick, not just fooling it, back aches and i need a wee ALL the time. i dont care if it is a negative test, i know i am having a baby! with my 1st the doctors told me it was negative and had a miscarriage whilst i was sat in his office!! they arnt alwasy right!

I am kind of in the same boat as a lot of you, but a little different. About 6 weeks ago I found out I was pregnant on a Sunday. Made my appointment on Monday for the doctor to be seen October 4th. The following Friday I started bleeding. Long story short, I had a miscarriage. when my final blood test came back, my HCG levels were back down to zero. I was told that I was only about 4 weeks and that I would get my period on the same day I usually did because if I did not know I was pregnant, when i miscarried, I would have thoguht it was just a late period. Anyway, I was due on the 8th of this month for my period. No period. Then I thought that maybe I would get it 4 weeks after the miscarriage. That would have been 5 days ago. I feel SO pregnant. I have 2 children already, and the one miscarriage. I knew everytime I was pregnant before I took at test. However, i keep taking these tests and they keep coming back negative. My doctor will not send me for a blood test. Says to wait 3 months and test weekly for pregnancy. After 3 months, they will send me for a blood test. She says that after a miscarriage, you can not know for certain as to when you will get your first period. Could be days, weeks, or months. BUT I feel REALLY pregnant. Sick in the stomach, boobs are bigger, and VERY sore. I feel very tired. Even napping some during the day. I have had some slight cramping/pain in my lower abdoment. I do not feel bloated at all like my period is coming on either. It seems as if one day I have a lot of discharge and the next , nothing. Any advice???

HI there. I need some comparison to my issue.
last cycle on 9/21. one week late with dr and home urine test showing negative.
lower left abdominal pain sometimes sharp and more often just dull pain but keeps me up at night
breast tenderness only for a few days
no nausea but absolutely no hunger for anything
and the obvious...no period which I have NEER missed and it is very regular.
My husband is deployed so I dont want to bother him with the confusion and details until I know either way for certain.
I don't really know what to think b/c if I am NOT pregnant then maybe the pain is from the ulcer I am giving myself about it!
What do you think?
Is typical pregnancy abdominal pain in the center or have you experienced it on one side or the other?

I was 2 months pregnant when my test result finally showed positive, and that took 10 minutes to show a feint line with a clearblue test!. Its due to a lack of the pregnancy hormone so the test doesnt pick up that your pregnant. There are also a number of other reasons such as weight loss or gain, stress, medication, illness and recently coming off the pill. It is recommended that you see a doctor if you miss your second period. I'm trying for my second child and am now 10 days late, but once again a negative test result. In Feb 06 my husband and I suffered a miscarriage and were told by our doc that we shouldn't expect to conceive for around 6 months as we had to wait for my periods to get back to normal. So we got on with life and low and behold 6 weeks later I had sore boobs and was really tired and a pregnancy test came back negative. Two weeks later I went to my doc and he confirmed that I was actually pregnant but my hormone levels were not rising so not to expect the pregnancy to continue. I kept on acting as though it was a healthy pregnancy and had blood tests every 2 days to ensure my hormone levels were rising, which they were, but extremely sliowly. None of my home pregnancy tests showed up positive until I was around 3 months pregnant (I just wanted one to show up!!) 6 months later had a healthy 10lb baby girl. So don't give up hope girls!

Hi everyone! As many of you... I am late in my period and two pregnancy test have shown negative results. I looked in the internet for answers and I found this wonderful forum. I am amazed to see the amount of woman out there that are really pregnant and have a negative result in the home pregnancy tests and even in the blood tests.
Here is my story. My period runs every 26 days,, very regular. I have a boy of 19 months. I never went of the pill after he was born hoping to get pregnant soon again. My husband did not like the idea. He thought we needed to wait longer... like two or three or even more years before we would try for another one. I was very sad but I kept on wishing that I would get pregnant by a "human mistake" LOL. It just did not work. Condoms are very effective and the method of pulling out is also very effective in our case, so I gave up. This month my period was supposed to come november 1, but it has not arrived. I was very happy thinking I was pregnant but I took two home pregnancy test (one yesterday and one today) and both were negative. I was very disappointed and sad, then scared... if I am not pregnant... why my period is being late?? apart from feeling my uterus kinda hard, with little cramps for the last 5 days... I have no symptoms. I was wondering if I should immediately go to my doctor in case there is something really wrong.. or wait one more week to test again...
UGHHH.... the waiting is killing me...

Im in the same situation as some of you. Im only 17 and i always have unprotected sex with my fiance. We do use the withdrawel method but i have heard that it doesnt always work. anyways about a week before i was due i had brown bleeding for about 5 days, i looked it up on the internet and apparently it could be immplantaion bleeding. during this time i had cramps in my lower stomach and terrible backache. now my period is 8 days late. and today i woke up and my breats feel tender and sore. Ive done 4 pregnancy tests though and all have come up negative. im so confused. anyone got any answers?

Ladies! I went to the doctor and turned out to be 6 weeks pg today. I took almost 8 HPTs and 4 blood tests to show up BFP. I am going to have my ultrasound done next week. I am hoping for everything to go fine. Baby dust to you all!

Hi there! I am 30 yrs old and have been married since Dec 2003 and ttc ever since then. Which means I have ttc for nearly 4 years now. I always have regular 28 cycles +/- 2 days. However last month I went for IUI. This would be my third IUI. This time around my Gynae asked me to take Metformin. I have now missed my period for 15 days. I had 4 HPT and I qualitative blood test (done at the clinic) all negative. I did another one this morning and its negative as well. Scheduled to see my gynae again this Friday. DH is cool about it. Maybe he was trying to keep calm as one of us need to. My mom is really confident that I'm prego. She said she was three months along when she knew she was pregnant with my kid bro. Will keep you guys posted on my development . I really wanna become a mom soon. I have never conceive and if I am indeed pregnant, I would be the happiest girl alive. Hearing about your problems help me too, knwoing that I am not alone in this ttc 'adventure'. All of my other friends seemed to get pregnant easily. Its like breathing or something to them...*sigh* ....but not me.....*sad* :0(

1 week late today. 2 bfns at day 3 with First Response. I'm going to pick up some tests at DollarTree today. Thank goodness for $1 tests!!! My question is: How long should I wait before I call my doctor?

My period has always been regular always!! Never irregular never ever ever changes. I recently found out that i have a tilted uteris. It has effected me alot cause im thinking that i am not able to have kids but the doctor gave me a papsmere to tell whether it was titled or not. She did not give me a ultrasound. So back to now ok my period has been irregular for the past 3 months(last 3 periods) Everytime it comes it comes 1 week earlier than last times period its very very light and the last period i spotted brownish pinkish blood before it actually started. Im soooo confused its driving me crazy. Im having all the signs of pregnancy. Vomiting everything i eat, severly nauseous atleast 10 times a day, sleeping alll the time i feel so drained, i look 3 months pregnant and my stomach has hardened, my breast are HUGE and my areols(probally misspelled) have gotten darker and huge! But to make it all bad ive had 5 NEGATIVE HPT!! I have not took a blood test cause i really dont wanna waste my time cause this is soooo frustrating! Like i dont kno if im crazy. My boyfriend keeps telling me im not but i KNOW my body and something is REALLY wrong! Somethings i even look smell make me sick to my stomach my left side lower stomach has a throbbing sensation! On top of that my ribs hurt sometimes.. and just the other day me and my boyfriend got into a very very big fight and we were yelling at each othe and all the sudden i got this sharp pain in my stomach everytime our arguement would get heated and i would raise my voice that would happen! And if i am pregnant iwant to take care of myself and i kno he would take care of me to he would be there for alll my needs i wanna be healthy but its jus so confusing! My mom came to visit and even she said i look pregnant and something about my stomach being warm(whatever that means) Should i go for a blood test or juss watit till i go to labor lol! But i really need some help!!!!!!! Is there any other ways to see if im pregnant besides a pregnancy test or blood test ?

u really shud go 2 tha docs. home preg tests are hardly eva reliable! tha doc will give u a blood test this is mre reliable than a urine sample coz tha hormone tha ur testin 4 gets into the blood quicker than it gets into the urine. im onli 17 and i was 13 days late, i had almost every symptom ther is 4 bein preg, i did 5 tests but all were negative, i was sooo confused. but i come on 2day. i had convinced myself i was preg but now it turns out im not. so b4 u start convincin urself best go 2 docs coz now im gutted coz im not and i thought 4 so long tha i was. gd luck :D

i am crapping it me and my partner tryed for 6 years for a baby thats all i ever wanted in the end i gave up last year we got a puppy she is my life as we stopped trying i dont plot d8s any more and on 31st of september i came on for 1 day heavy but that was it very red and now im l8 took a test yesterday came back negative could that bleed i had be implatation? but if it would of been i would of thought the test would of worked by now i am so worried we have now built our life now to have any children it used to be all i ever thought about now it scares me
