today makes me 7 days late for AF....i took a hpt 2 nights ago...negative..i have one more test at home but i want to take it where my result will be accurate. I wish i had an ultrasound machinebatb home so i can take a sneak peek inside....how long should i wait before taking my test?

AF was due on 11-25 she is still a no show..so im 10 days late not 7

22 days late now. STILL having negative hpt and had negative blood test in Nov. This was the first month we ttc, and I never did much research as far as preg symptoms due to not wanting to drive myself crazy. meanwhile, since i'm 3 weeks late, i've obviously been doing my research. are there any other reasons that i've had breast tendernous for over two weeks? i'm going to the doctor again but happy that we can all commiserate and hopefully eventually celebrate this frustrating situation!!

I am in nearly the same boat, I wish they just had a little home blood test kit, like what diabetics have, that we could test our HCG levels on... So much easier than the urine ones that never work for some of us... Good luck ladies!!!! :D

hi ladies! I am in the same situation! I got pregnant with my ..now 2 yr old son on the first try and took a otc test that came up postive two days before my period was to start. So we just started trying for baby #2 ....couple days after ovulation this month I started spotting dark and very light pinkish when I wipe...this has been going on for 1 wk 4 days now....I am only two days late and have taken tons of early preggo tests...level 20 that I ordered off the internet....totally feel pregnant..boobs hurt, tired, back hurts, bloated...and the spotting( I also had with my son)...It's good to know that some have come up with a positive days later.....I really think that I am crazy ...but really feel that I am pregnant!!! Has anyone used the preggo tests off the net? They are supposed to be like the doc office ones? My doc told me to wait and test again next week....but I would think that it would show up by now? Has anyone spotted for that long before? Thanks girls..keep you updated!!!!

Hello Ladies, Well I must say that I too am in the same boat. My last af was Nov. 10th. Should have shown up around the 7th or 8th of Dec. I'm never late. So I took test all negs. Even went to doc's it was neg. He checked back in records with when I had my dd I didn't find out that I was prego with her until I was 7 weeks. I feel everything just like then bloated, sick to stomach (smells really get to me), tired, just nipples sore, and feeling hot flashes from time to time. My doc said to wait a week then come in and test again. Baby dust to you all.

This is true in my case. I am a week late in my periods but both the pregnancy tests are negative. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I cant help it. I took First Respnse test and got only 1 line both the times. Its so frustrating to undergo this situation. We have been trying for 7 months now.

oh man...finallly got my AF on Sat......so hopefully this time around I ovulate!!!! Has anyone used the ovulation sticks from the interenet? I ordered some but have never tried them? Good like to all ttc...!!!!

Hi ladies, in particular Jayne29 ... you are hillarious ! Just wanted to say though (to everyone) that I feel your pain and frustrastion. I actually read through a lot of the answers thinking to myself "im not crazy after all" !. I too have missed my period and taken 3 pregnancy tests which were all negative. My periods are very reggular and hardly ever late ... not this late anyway. Period was due 13th Nov 07 (im a week late). Im getting abdominal cramping, lower back pains, tender nipples, and from time to time nausea, which majotity of the time I expreience when im expecting my period, anyway. Im constantly feeling like i have just bled and even wearing pads just in case - but nothing ! Dont know if this has any relevance but the week i was due on i had a general check up with the nurse and she asked me to take a urine test. It tested that a slight hint of blood was present in it and she just presumed that it was because I was very near menstruation. She advised me to take another urine samople as soon as my period had come and gone but im still waiting. My husband and I usually practice the withdrawal method but on a few occasions just did'nt bother and went a long with the flow ! Neither am I using any contraceptions. I have a 10 yr old and upon finding out i was pregnant with her it was 3 days missed period and only took 1 preg test . Im totally bewilderd and frustrated. Totally not agreeing with the stress factor because this was not planned and actually dont mind if i am pregnant. Good luck and i hope you all receivce the news you want ! hi guys. i posted on here last month when i got to 18 days late. well just thought id let you know, im pregnant this month, strange? coincidence? i dont know. fingers crossed this one will go all the way. im only six weeks and hope to have an early scan within next 2 weeks. i dont know how to feel. want everything to be ok obviously but cant help thinking about past.

I am 50days late! Help! have taken three pregnancy tests and they all come back negative. I want so bad to be pregnant. My husband and I keep trying. My last period was on November 21, 2007! I have backaches, I feel bloated and sometimes I do get dizzy. But my boobs do not hurt me yet. I have an appt with my doctor next thursday the 19th. Will my gyno just give me a urine test or can she give me a blood test too? Please help!

Hey everyone! Well, I'm now 7 days late. I've taken three pregnancy tests, and all came out negative. The thing is, I'm not sure if I even took them correctly. I used the ones in the doctor's office where I work, and they are sold in bulk and didn't have instructions or anything. Nor did it tell me how long I needed to wait before reading the results. I didn't use first morning urine, either. Anyways, here are my symptoms: moderate back ache, moderate cramps, sore breasts, upset stomach, frequent urination, and fatigue. I don't know, I've just been having weird things happen to me that don't usually happen before I start my AF. For example, today I was standing in line at work to get breakfast, and the smell of their grits almost had me vomiting all over the floor. Once I moved away from the grits, I was fine. I bought some eggs, and I just could not eat them, even though I usually like their eggs. I kept gagging on them. Also, I was walking back to my desk at work and I was so dizzy!! I'm really in tune with my body because I have type 1 diabetes, and I'm here to tell you something is definitely off. I called my doctor's office yesterday and spoke with the nurse, and she said that more than likely I was not pregnant and that I was just stressing my body out to think I was pregnant. She said to test again in the next couple of days using FMU, and if it were negative, to wait a week and see if my AF showed up. If it didn't, to call back and make an appointment. My fiance' and I always use condoms and to my knowledge, none has ever broken. The thing is, if I'm pregnant, I really need to know NOW because of the complications that I can get from my diabetes. I'm absolutely certain that I need a blood test. I am going to test Sunday (if my period hasn't started) and see what the results are. Everyone tells me that I'm just stressing too much and my body is just reacting as though I were pregnant, and I realize that being pregnant off of condom use is not that likely, but I am just not convinced....I mean, I know my body, you know? Anyways, glad I found this site. I will keep you all updated.

Hi All! Another one here. My af was due on Dec 30, so far I took two hpt, both came out negative. I have some symptoms - lightheaded, morning sickness, moody. breasts feel a little tender, but honestly they feel worse during a regular month.
I have two kids - 21 and 16 and I'm already 43 so I don't know if I'm already perimenopausal. I was in Nuvaring (sorry for tmi) till Nov and my last af was Dec 2.

I read all the posts. Is it that common for hpts to be negative and turns out to a pregnancy? I wish more ppl would come back and tell us what happened.

Well I feel very much in the same boat as many of you on this forum. I am beginning to become a bit emotionally lost here though. My last period was in November. I considered myself late when it didn't show up in December. I have taken various home test, and finally today I decided to visit the doctors office for assistance with all this. We did a urine test that came up negative. In addition we took a blood test that I have to wait for the results for it in maybe 3 to 5 days. I am truly stressed about this and I am frankly scared of the results. I have been off of birth control pills since 2004, and my husband and I have been trying to conceive since then. It took my body awhile to adjust from the pills, and finally have a regular monthly cycle. Then finally December of 2006 up until November...everything was like clock work. Now I am just speechless about all this...and I hope for some clarity soon. I so want to start my family,,,I just hate all this waiting and wishy washy tests. Wish me hope...

ladymeka24......I have exactly the same thing going on. My last period was on November 28th and I still haven't see anything since then. I am just finishing day 48 and counting. I have taken 3 HPT's since the end of December and nothing so far. If I was pg I figure I would be about 5 weeks and I guess sometimes HCG doesn't show up until 6 or 7 weeks for some women. So, I haven't been to the doctor thought I would wait to see if my next period will come. If it doesn't, I'll see the doctor then. Having any symptoms???
