mrsmtree- good news. i think i started my period today. i had really bad cramps and i'm not bleeding a whole lot but my periods are usually pretty light. i think i did a little too much research, so i feel like nothing is going to convince me that i'm not pregnant...with all of the talk of women "spotting" while they are pregnant and everything. i think it's safe to assume that i'm not pregnant but i will still keep you updated! i hope that something happens with you soon so that you know what's going on! i know exactly how you feel.

Hi Jackson! I wrote a response a while back but I kept getting error messages and gave up!
Just checking in to see if that was your period or not. I still haven't started. I just started charting temps and such and it looks like I may have just ovulated in the last day or two. So it looks like another week or two for me before I start!

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to update...I posted about two months ago! I think I was having ovulation problems..so I thought....my period was late ...but finally came...neg htp.... didn't try in dec...tried again this month...ovulation strips I did didn't show I ovulated...day 16 of my cycle..started spotting again..brown...just like when I was having ovulation problems....thought for sure I didn't ovulate again...then....took bld preg. test....way too early I think..it was neg.....then six days later after day 15 of my cycle...I am pregnant!~~~ very early ....just thought I would let you know...don't give up hope if it turns out negative at first!!!! and there is a fabulous website...I ordered ovulation strips and pregnancy tests...(way more sensitive than what you can buy over the counter...I found out 6 days past ovulation......!!! They are like .92 each!!!!! If you test everyday like me..lol...you can save lots of money!!! Early-pregnancy-tests.com ...baby dust to all!!!! Keep your fingers crossed !!!! rachel

I had a hard time following your post. So you had a late period that finally started in Dec, then another regular period in Jan. Then you TTC in Feb while detecting ovulation (which was apparently successful!). Then found out you were pregnant before you were supposed to start this cycle? Just want to be sure I got that correctly! LOL

Hello, I have a similar problem. Last period Jan 17, suppose to have the next on Feb 13 and it's 6 days left. I am freaking out b/c one of the tests i took was positive and the next 2 negative. I have no clue what to do. I think I have to go for the blood test.

I am so confused. I have never missed a period, like all the rest of you. My husband and I are not ttc at the moment. We have 2 beautiful girls ages 4 and 19 months. I am 7 days late and I NEVER miss a period. I always start the 14-15th of each month, but this month, af never came. I've had back cramps for 2 wks now, tender breasts, fullness in my lower abdomen and 4 negative tests. The 1st one I thought I saw a pink line, but haven't gotten that result since. Does anybody have a clue what might be going on? Please help!

Since most people make these posts and never tell their outcome I thought I should respond. I still haven't started my period either. I also still haven't had a + HPT. My OB said if I skip 3 periods then they will put me on hormones to jump start them again. I've missed two so far. I am spotting now but still no flow. We'll see in the next day or two if I really start. I suggest charting your temps and CM to prevent worry in the future. It really helps!

Hooray! My period came today! I guess I was delaying everything by being so paranoid. My husband and I would like to have another child in the future, but we would like to let the two we have get a little older (3 kids ages 4 and under would be a handful). Best of luck to everyone! Don't know if any of you are taking Clomid. It can cause ovarian cysts, which can cause some of the same symptoms as pregnancy. Swollen, tender breasts, tiredness (not as bad, I don't think), missed period. But negative pregnancy tests, both hpt and blood tests. This just happened to me. I could tell something was wrong, had an ultrasound 5 days after missed period, and had 3 pretty big ovarian cysts. Now I am off all drugs for 1-2 months. Doctor said I probably had excess estrogen in my system, caused by Clomid. Hope this isn't your problem. Thought it was worth adding to the posts, just in case. Good luck to you.

Hi everybody this is my first time on a forum like this so here goes. I have been TTC for 6 yrs with my ex-husband and no luck. I am pretty regular at 30-32 days. I had a M/C 2 years prior at 5 wks. I started TTC for a year as of Sept. 06. I finally conceived sometime in Oct. 07, but didn't find out until I was 8 wks. going on 9 with a HPT. I was elated when I found out so was the BF. I was definitely having all the PG symptoms but didn't pay it any mind. At 12 wks. 1/3/08 I had a M/C and D&C performed. I never got a chance to get a sonogram. Two wks. and three days later I had a right tubal rupture. I had to have laparascopy 1/20/08 for an ectopic pregnancy. I had a hetoropic pregnancy who would've' known...... They told me my left tube was fine and I would only be able to conceive from my left tube after my first period comes. Which was exactly 8 wks. after the surgery. I am now 6 days late with three negative HPT. Last week I had a fever for a couple of days cramping which I don't get, tender nipples, and a little nausea not as bad as the last PG. I am not stressed and my period comes even when I am not stressed. I am on prenatal pills as recommended by my doctor. How long should I wait before I take a blood test and if there are any places in NY that will test my HCG level without out any insurance. I really hate the waiting game this would be my first child, parents first grand & BF's as well. I don't wanna wait too late, but I also know that not all test are accurate. I really don't know what to do. :'(. I don't think I can really go through this again.

Im going through the same thing, the start of my last cycle was May 25, I am usually late 3-5 days each month, so taking the in affect Iam counting from June 30 is when I should of started my next cycle, its now July 14th, and I took 2 tests last week, not sure what to do, am I delaying it myself? Im not stressed, but wonder if I am all the time.....

I am exactly the same, I am a week late today. I have been off the pill for a year as we just wanted to see what happens, so far i have not caught on although i havent managed to find out when i ovulate yet which i am going to have to do to make it alot easier. Now i am a week late and am experiencing lots of symptons, soar breasts, metallic taste in mouth some mornings, tummy twinges and cramps also urinating lots, i did a test yesterday and it was negative. Dont know whether this is just going to be a late period or if there is a possibility of being pregnant? I know how frustrated you are as i am too and part of me wants to go to the doctors to get a blood test but it could just be a waist of time.

i am a week late and i have taken three pregnancy test saying all the same thing (negative). I have had months in the previous where i havent had one before i was sexually active so i dont know what to think

I have two little girls and with both of them the pregnancy test did not show positive until I was 9 weeks pregnant. As of now my period is 4 days late, took a test today and it showed negative. Good luck to all!

Hi. I see a lot of people are in the same boat as me. I am now 6 days late for my period, and I normally start on my same time every month. I took 3 HPT's this week and all of them were negative. I know the best thing to do is to go to the Dr., but my appointment isn't until a week away. I have been TTC and am so upset right now that my test was negative. I know there's not really any more advice, but does anyone have any sucess stories to maybe make me keep some hope? Thanks

this is the first time i've tried to conceive, so before now, my experience with pregnancy tests has always been hoping i didn't get myself knocked up. now that i want a positive, i was surprised by how sad i felt to see a negative result. i'm five days late, and i'm trying to wait a couple more days to use the second test that comes in the kit. my period has always been very regular, and i haven't had the monster PMS that usually precedes it, either. i'm secretly sure i'm pregnant, despite knowing that i shouldn't get my hopes up too high. i'll try to remember to let folks know how it turns out.
