Hi every1 i am new to this forum - stumbled on it thanks to google!!! I have the same dilemma kind of. We have been trying for a baby for 8 years with nothing - after being sent to the fertility clinic it was found that my husband has low sperm count & motility. As i have kids from a previous relationship we can't get free IVF and we can't afford the treatment. We agreed that if it happened it happened and if not be thankful for what we have.
My periods are usually on time give or take 2 days maximum, to date i am almost 2 weeks late and after doing 2 tests at home both of which are negative i am starting to wonder what is going on. I haven't even said anything to my husband as i don't want to give him false hope - its bad enough i am beginning to think i may be pregnant - but surely after 8 years it couldn't just suddenly happen????
I am going to leave it a few days - if i can - and try another test and if thats negative then i will go and see the doctor.
I hope some of you have had results either way at least then you will know!!
I look forward to coming back on here 2moro and see if any1 else has news to share.

Well, I have missed my period, it was supposed to come june 6th, but of course it's no where to be found. I have been really bloated, constipated, and tired recently, but I took two pregnancy tests today, and both came up negative. It is so frustrating, because I just want an answer. This would be my first child, if pregnant, and I want to start as early as possible to be as healthy as possible. I suppose i'll just have to wait it out another week, and test again. I am only in my early 20ies, and engaged to be married next May, so it is definitely not menopause. I guess we will see. Wish me luck.

Hi Romade - i wish you all the luck in the world hun - i hope you get the result you want - and if you are preganant i wish you good luck with the pregnancy and birth. I suppose i am 1 of the lucky 1s as i already have 4 beautiful boys!! I am 33 years old now and i started having children early ( 2 early) but i am thankful for the children i have - my oldest is 15yrs thn i have a 14 yr old. My 3rd son is soon going to be 12yrs an my youngest is 10yrs. I have also suffered miscarriages 1 of which was my 14yr old twin.
I wish all of oyu good luck in getting pregnant especially those that have as yet not had children it is something that many people take for granted - they assume they can fall pregnant whenever they decide to start thier families but it is not always so plain sailing.

About me: I had my daughter in Sept of 2007. I took 2 tests with her, 1 neg and 1 positive. The fdp was Dec 19th, 2006 and I took the test on Jan 31, 2007 (evening). It was negative. I was having nausea and back pains from around Jan 25th. I took another test (morning) on Feb 1st and it was +.

Now I can't even tell you if I am late or not. My last cycle was 83 days with no period, and no pregnancy. My doctor is weird, so I don't expect much from her. I am now on 42 days since my last period. I have noticed on some site's if your cycle is longer then the normal 28 days your period date can be weeks later then what you would think. I have taken 2 tests in the past 10 days and both -. Though like the other sites have said, if I am over 40 days (and not the typical 28) then I am only 3 days late for my AF.

I will keep posting. I like to read up on how people are doing. I wish more would post. :)

I am a week late today and have done 5 at home preg tests and they are still coming up negative. I've just gone off the pill...well didn't start taking it again after my last period so i don't know if that has anything to do with it??? any help on that issue?? i did have symptoms for a week and now its gone... my nipples are sore and bloating but no period?????? any help on the issue would be great! xx

Omfg! So my past period was on may 23 09 and well wen june came around it wasnt bleeding or nothing, just pinkish stuff wen i wipe myself and it only last for a day or two then it turned in to a white discharge so my hubby told me i might be peggers and so we bought a test that came in a 2 pack called "answer early result pregnancy test" and i took one and it came out negative and i took the other one day ago and still negative..
my breast are really sore and my back hurts and idk but i usually dont eat much sweets but ive been wanting sweets for the longest! but well wee monday doctors monday! if i am, im soo excited! wish me luck but if u guys have any thing or advise for me then please do reply i do the help, im a very young!

I'm about a week late on my period. I haven't had sex since my last period, just messed around with my boyfriend a little. He never finished, even though i know you can still get pregnant. My periods are usually pretty regular, and I haven't felt any out of the ordinary. I took a test yesterday, and it said negative. I'm not sure if it could be from stress this last month because I moved, and then I was worried that I'm pregnant because it isn't my time. Any help?

New to this...Only 21 yrs old, had unprotected, drunk sex about 2 and a half weeks ago, but would not call it complete sex, it was very short with about 3 times in out and he said he didnt even finish. Not very proud as never done that sort of thing before. Now I am 3 days late, but had a negative home pregnancy test. The day it happened was 10th day of my cycle. Gathering all the facts it is very unlikely that I am. However, normally I am quiet regular. Also no pregnancy signs, but no period either! Will be getting a blood test later today. Too young to want a baby. Could it just be stress?? Please give opinions!

I guess everyone is having the same problem. my period is 2 weeks late and i have most of the pregnancy signs and i took a pregnancy test and came out negitive. Me and my husband have been tryin to concieve for about six months...and i cant see a doctor yet cuz we are still waiting on our medical insurance....any advice/help? Plz! Thank you!

Just an update. I took my blood test yesterday and it came out negative. Will update once period comes and possible reasons why it was late. good luck to all!

Ok so here is the end of my story. Yesterday when I got much more relaxed (after negative blood test results), had a glass of wine with my friend before going to bed and this morning small abdominal cramps and my period! :)
Honestly I think the cause of delay was stress so those of you who do NOT wish to have a baby and are freaking out (after negative results), stop it and live your normal lifes there can be many causes for your delay. On the other hand, if you did have a full unprotected sex, especially on a fertile day of your cycle than (perhaps too late now for this advice), but for the future TAKE the morning after pill, I know a friend who didnt (she was sure it would be ok...dont ask why!) and she ended up having an abortion...This forum is very good in a way, but I think when you read too much (like I did!) you get even more stressed because you hear of cases where women had their period and still are pregnant (its like no matter what you can never be sure...bollocks)! So such stories really dont help girls who do not wish to have a baby. Girls, deal with your own situations individually, its the best solution and talk to people around you. Good luck to you all!

same thing here. I'm a week late, nauseous, tired, dizzy, headaches, weak. i have an 8 month old son and i can barely keep up with him this passed week. I have taken 3 HPT all negative. i really wish i could just get my AF or a pos test... We are wanting to get pregnant again soon, but more like october or november, but if i am now it would be alright, except we miss out on the real "trying" :)

Hey can anyone help me or later found out they were pregnant?
I am 2 and 1/2 weeks late for my period, and me and my other half have been trying for a few months 2 get pregnant. My period that i had before was very light an only lasted couple of days, which is not normal for me. I have been experiencing symptoms, such as nausea and being sick, light headed, cramping in my stomach, and feeling so tired. My stomach is strating to look like i am pregnant. I have taken 3 home pregnancy test, one before i was due my period, one just after and then one a week later they were all negative. I went to the drs yesterday and saw a nurse, who did another urine test which came up negative. I asked her why i was getting all these symptoms and my stomach was growing as there was no other explanation for it. The nurse was rubbish, i wanted a blood test as i have heard these are more accurate than urine tests but she wouldnt do one. So i left the drs feeling none the wiser.
Has anyone else been in the same situation, and found out that they were actually pregnant down the line. Or have anyone got any information that can help me Please... Im not stressed or worried about anything... I would just like to know for sure. Thanks

zjcool..my older sister went through the same issue you did..she was having lots of symptoms did a HPT and it was negative went to the doctors to doa urine test..negative..she gave it a few more weeks and decided to do the blood test and even at that it came back negative a month later still no period turned out she was in fact pregnant. I would just be very careful on what you do. wait about2 more week if nothing do a blood test. I had some issues with this too except i was not pregant i went 2 months with no period was driving myself nuts because me and my fiance are trying to have a baby and i have not been able to get pregnant. i am in the process of trying fertility pills hope this works..good luck with you and again be very careful

Ok Im new to this whole thing... I am now 7 days late on my period. My last period was July 14. I have taken 3 HPTs and all negative. My lower back is killing me, and I have been cramping all week now as if AF was here....nothing. My boobs are starting to get sore too. Why the negative results? I also feel like I have a small bladder infection. Do you think this could be why the tests are negative right now? Any advise would be great.
