Pos. Pregnancy Test

I took two home pregnancy tests and both were positive. I went to a clinic and they too stated that I was pregnant. The other day I was having pain in my lower back and went to the emergency room and they did a ultrasound but there are no signs of me being pregnant. The doctor states that I have a few ovarian cysts but that I may also be just a few days pregnant. Can a ovarian cyst cause a positive result? Has anyone experienced anything like this or somewhat like this?
