I have been off bc since April. Husband and I finally agreed to start trying, just on July 9. We have only had unprotected sex twice since then. My period is not always "28" days...from one to the other. My last cycle ended on the 26 of June, it was only five days long....Do I just wait to test until maybe next wednesday.....that would be 24 days, and 12 days since the first sex?

It is possible that it would show on a test, like first response, that early, but not usually. I would suggest waiting until after your period is late, if you can! Otherwise, go ahead. If money isn't an issue, I would. I'm a testing fanatic!
