When To Call Doctor

I am two days late. I have the very light spotting brown only when I wipe on occasion along with a variety of other symptoms. But, I have a (-) hpt. Would my doctor think I am insane if I called asking for a blood test this early? Has anyone else called the doctor thinking pg early on? What was your doctor's response?

Di-I think you need to wait awhile before going to the doctor. I was 2 months late before I went to the doctor, and even then she looked at me like I was weird. I took so many tests. All were NEG. Then a few days after doing the blood test, i got my AF. my advice would be to wait at least a month if you are getting NEG HPT.
