Negative Home Tests

i have taken 2 pregnancy tests form the dollar tree and 1 first response test. they were all negative. I missed my period for april and it still hasn't come yet. A friend of mine said that my level coud be to low for the home test since I was supposed to come on at the end of April. I'm bloated, cramping and having lower ab pains but no cycle. Has this ever happened to anyone and they were actually pregnant Do I need a blood test or will the urine test at the Dr.'s office be different and a lot stronger to pick up lower levels?

Sorry, I can't answer the question for you. I can, however, say there have been many other people on the boards who HAVE been pregnant & got negative tests. I am 12 days late & got 1 faint positive & 5 negatives & no hint of my period in sight, so I am in the same boat. I have had the cramping as well - for 3 days, & I usually only cramp a couple of hours before & that's it. Hang in there, they say a blood test is the best, although that may come up negative I have heard as well. But check with your doctor.

i havent had a period at all since the middle of january. husband didnt come home from korea till the begining of february and i havent had a period since. about 1-2 months ago i had tons of crampy ness...shoulders,arms ect, some stomach sickness cold like symptons for about 2-3 weeks straight. that went away and now i have faint lower abdomin paints. Breast look a little off sized(ones slightly larger). Stomach looks slightly bigger but i could be immagining it. took 3 pregnancy tests about a month and a half ago and all came out negitive. Got a drs appt thursday. hoping to find out then
