Boarderline???

I am a week late and i have done 3 hpt and all 3 test there was a very faint line, so yesterday i went to the Dr and had my blood test done and rang them today and he said that it is borderline and i need too come back in and have another one done. He didn't really tell me what "borderline" means just that they can't really tell if it is + or -. So any help would be great.

I think (not 100% positive) the hCG needs to be at a 5 or above to be positive. Maybe it was very close? You may want to ask what the actual level was.

When I had mine checked when I was first pregnant, my doctor was hesitant in telling me it was positive. My level was 52, however I was only 3 weeks 4 days. I am now 30 weeks 5 days. Good luck to you!!!

Ok, I found the levels by days: 7 days (3 weeks from lmp)- 0-5 and 14 days (28 days from lmp) 3-426 and 21 days (35 days from lmp) 18-7340.
Good luck to you mjvdec01, you are almost there! I'm only 11 weeks and it seems so far away.

It also says "non-pregnant levels <5"

thanks ladies, I went back into the Dr for another test and got my results today and yes i am pregnant. So so happy.
