I am so happy to have wondered across this site! I recently stopped birth control, about 2-3 months ago. My period in May was really late, then in June I barely had a period, and I've been spotting for a while. I feel like I'm about to start my period, but I've already had one this month, but it was really light. Is there a chance I could be pregnant? We've been using protection, but even condoms are 100%. Thank you for any help.

I have a very similar situation. I have been actively trying to get pregnant since the beginning of April. I got my regular period in May and have missed my June period by almost 2 weeks now. I am never late and I have taken 6 hcg tests that all came up negative. My husband thinks I'm crazy for testing so much, I am glad I am not the only one with this problem.

I AM 45 DAYS LATE AND I AM NOT SURE WHAT IT COULD BE IT BE I HAVE BEEN REALLY STRESSED AND I HAVE GAINED WEIGHT PLUS I AM ALSO BULMIC. I ALREADY TOOK A TEST AND IT WAS NEG.WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

Thanks for the information, Morgan. You actually answered another question I had. I wasn't sure how long it would take before I started ovulating again after stopping birth control. Hi Everyone...I am relieved that I am not the only person in the whole world (which I feel I am sometimes) that is so frustrated with not knowing if I am pregnant or not. I have always had pretty "on time" cycles..around Day 31..well today is 39 and now sign of my period in sight!! My husband and I have been trying for 3 months now and are really hoping this could be it. I took 3 preg. tests all with Negative results...I took the clinical HCG strips and the EPT and Answer Tests. I have an appt for bloodwork on Thursday and I am hoping that can confirm or deny it. I did spot very light brown discharge for 5 days earlier in my cycle and was hoping this was a promising sign of pregnancy, no bloating, cramping, nausea, sore boobs. I only feel tired (like I am dragging), a slight "tingle" in my left nipple, noticed my aerolas getting slightly darker in color and have a dull backache and headache. Most of which could be related to working and school full time. I just wanted to say hi and let you know that I will keep you posted also regarding my situation.

ok i went 2 the doc and took all kinds of testes and everything is ok but he told methat it might be stress. but i'm not stressing unless he telling 2 stop working alot or could it be all the fighting me and my boyfriend doing. and can u still ovulate without having an period

Hey u all I have a serious question that I dont feel like asking any one who knows me but u...just like most of u i have missed my period too for like 4 months ...i felt careless at first but i am kinda curious right now and also feel so helpless cuz i don't know what to do...i know i am not pregnant or any thing ...some of my friend say if u miss ur period more that 2 times u might be lesbian...is that true or they're just to young to know about it...any way if any one here thinks she can help me ..this is my email..pinkfemale88@yahoo.com

hello morgan, its me sebi .i have a q u know all my history let me know if awomen have avery long cycle like 2 or 3months how many chances of her pregnancy 2 week after her due that .i mean if periods not started on time and checked after one week not pregnant than how many chances of conceveing after this. i told u all my problem and after one week when icheckedtest was neg.now ,if my periods is not started .is it possible i become pregnant or not? i hope u understand well please reply me soon thanks alot.

Well wow im so surprised in seeing suck of the answers I been trying to find answers im in similar boats as much of you all heres my story...I'm 2 months late with soar boobs,lots of gas and can't leave out that damn diarrhea,some tightning in stomach and very bloated and I have never been late before I havent been using protection for the last 3 months now I also have low thyroid problems and I finnaly went to my dc yesturday and well they did an hpt which I know would come back neg cause they all have been neg at home so far and then he tells me it ok to be late and hes gonna test my thyroid again and taht I should only be concerned if im like six months late B/S man I wanted him to do the blood test to check me that way to assure my self but he said first to check my thyroid and I gained 6 pounds in 2 months and eating the damn same I dont know if Im just trippen but even though I really dont have preg signs I know there something wrong now he also wants to run test to see if I have any parasites that maybe thats why I have diarrhea but if in one month I dont get a period im demanding an ultra sound its my body and I have the right to worry right...

Sebi, well there is always a chance you are pregnant if you've had unprotected sex and your period is late. If you took a test and it was negative and after a week your period still hasn't started then you need to go to the doctor for a blood test. At this point, I really think you need to see a doctor. hello morgan thanks for answering.one anoter thing now my cycle is long 2 or 3 moths from last 3 months and as i told u i tested at home and clinic after the 6th day missing of my cycle.but neg and if ido sex with out protection and my periods still not come than i can be pragnant or not

Sebi, there are only a few ways to know exactly how long your cycle is and when you ovulate so you know when you are most fertile and most likely to get pregnant. You can chart your temperature daily at the same time every day, the best time to do this is when you wake up in the morning (at the same time every day). When your body temperature rises, that is when you are about to ovulate and you are at your most fertile. Another way is to get the test strips, they work the same as a HPT, but they are testing for the hormones that say your ovulating., although that can get expensive. Those are really the only ways to chart your ovulation and cycle. Maybe this month you had an a much longer cycle, or maybe this month your cycle was normal, you just didn't ovulate for whatever reason. I have to stress though, these are really questions you should be asking a health professional. Please do not take my advice as though it is coming from a doctor. I am not a doctor, and do not claim to know everything. I can only relate to you the information that I have learned through my own research and doctors visits.

you can sign up and you then have access to a month by month chart where you can put in any information about you cycle so that you can be more aware of your cycle. I have begun using it, and it is really helpful.

i have asame que like sebi,if idid sex without protection and missed my periods10 days .but got negitive in clinic and home it means all that my efforts to be pragnant lost but i countinuethe sex and still waitting my periods can i pregnant because of all these inter courses or waite to start my cycle and then try again?.another thing my periods is not regular now and i have it 3 or sometimes 4months.if ineed anew periods to be pragnant its mean waitting long time .how many time don,t know 4 years or 4 monthes?i am waitting your answer please help.

Nenni, OK, even if you miss you period you do not have to wait until you have one to become pregnant. There is only an 8% chance that you will get pregnant from unprotected sex, it really depends on the time of your cycle. You ovulate only once during your cycle you are most fertile at that point. Sperm can live for approximately 3 days in your body. If you know when in your cycle you ovulate, by checking you temp or with the ovulation tests, then you know when you are most fertile and can have unprotected sex during these days. Even if you missed a period you can still get pregnant, having a period means that you ovulated and the egg was not fertalized. When you miss a period it can be for any number of reasons, if you are not pregnant it might mean that because of stress you didn't ovulate that month, but you can get pregnant the next time you ovulate. Normally you wont miss mulipule periods in a row unless you are pregnant or have another medical reason, or because of birth control. Good luck!

I know exactly how you feel honey.I am never more than 5 days late but am now 8 with no obvious signs of preg.Did a test was neg But i did have a headache and backache on the 30 june so i thort period was on way!! Stil no signs! I am so frustrated but dont want to go to docs yet, i am so wanting a baby! Let me know how you get on. take care

nenni ok i went my doctor cause for two months i haven't had my period and i ask her am i still ovulating and she told me yes even though you is not having an period you can still ovulate
