Hey. I, as well, have missed my period, and am 14 days late from the time I should of received it. I am 19 years old and have had my period for 5 years. It has always been pretty regular up until now. Pregnancy is totally out of the question because I have never had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend. Does anyone have any ideas of what the problem could be? Thank you.

HEY GIRLS! I'M 19 WITH A 18 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER. MY PERIOD IS 2 MONTHS LATE. I HAVE TAKEN 5 HPTS AND 1 BLOOD TEST....ALL NEGATIVE. MY BREAST ARE REALLY SWOLLEN, I'VE BEEN HAVING A CLEAR DISCHARGE (NO SMELL), AND VERY TIRED. WHAT IS THE CAUSE? EVERYTHING IS NEGATIVE.

well i finally got my period sunday after not having it for 2 months and two neg tests.

yes i am 1 month late on my period and i took a test and it says negative my stomach is startin to round out and feeling sick sometimes wat should i do?

Ah the many joys of being female. NOT! So here is my story. I am 21yrs old, I started taken birth control pills february 2002. I stopped taking them last august for numerous reasons. Since then my periods have absolutely no schedule at all. I have been a couple days late, weeks etc. I skipped a whole month earlier this year and was convinced i was pregnant. But i wasn't. The next period came exactly 32days later which was my shedule prior to taking the pill so i thought i was finally getting back on track. That was the first week of may...and now it is july 20 and still no period. i have taken 2 tests so far and both have been negative....well the last one if u look really hard u mioght make out a faint line, but then that might just be my nerves. I have no symptoms at all other than the late period but it has never been this late. No nausea, no cravings, my nipples are a little sore but that is normally for me at times. No frequent urination (im a nursing student and like a nurse i dont need to pee, lol) NOTHING im a little nervous but figure i should wait as long as possible before i cave and buy another test, i dont want to take one too early. I have used a condom every single time but the are only 99% effective, i will keep u all updated, if the next test is negative and still no period next month im off to the doc just to check

well i went to the doc again today and i am not preg...thank god! i ended up getting af later during the day. good luck to all u ladies who r hoping and for who r not hoping...baby dust to all the ones who want to be..u know who u r!

I'm 2 months late but have had neg Urine and blood tests (3 ua..1 blood) but I've been queasy and had headaches and my jeans are tight. The only thing the blood work they did said was that my iron was low (which normally is good)

I know it's highly unlikely I am pregnant based on these facts but anyone have a story to say otherwise? I know stranger things have happened.

Hey I seem to be having the same problem. I am almost a week late now and have had 3 negative home tests but no other real symptoms. I have an over-active bladder so I can't really tell if I have been urinating more often and my breasts feel mostly fine- just no period! I was on birth control for four years but recently went off of it, had a period immediately after taking them (mid pack) and another period about a month later- now nothing! I really need to know what to do, I am twenty and in school, so need to know if I'm pregnant as soon as possible because I don't want it.

I have missed my period, took two pregancy test that came back negative. After that i have all these symtoms such as i can keep eating and never get full, very bloating, bad gas, very moody, emotional, a clear/ sorta white discharge, restless nights and i keep getting hot at night, and i got nauseous twice but i am only a few days late from my period, but my period has alawys been on time. May i still be pregeant or is it all in my head??? Can someone give me some advice PLEASE...

HI IM IN THE SAME BOAT AS WELL I HAD A MS IN DEC OF LAST YEAR BUT SINCE THEN MY PERIODS HAVE NOT BEEN NORMAL BUT THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS I HAVE BEEN GETTING IT TWICE A MONTH EXCEPT IN JUNE I GOT IT ON THE 22ND IT WAS NOT REGULAR IT WAS LIGHT AND ON THE FIRST WEEK OF JULY I HAD A SPOT OF A COLOR PINK NOTHING ELSE NO PERIOD NO NOTHING I HAVE ALOT OF NAUSEA NO SORE BREAST BUT I HAVE THIS SIDE PAIN THAT COMES DURING THE NITE BUT THAT IS IT I TOOK A HPT AND IT WAS NEGATIVE IMMA TAKE ONE MORE IN THE MORING AND SEE HOW IT GOES IF IT IS NEG AGAIN I WILL SEE A DOC TOMORROW OR THURSDAY....PLS KEEP ME POSTED MY EMAIL IS BUDLIGHT_GRL_WIT_A_LIL_ATITUDE@YAHOO.COM

When you stop taking birth control your body can take 6-12 months to go back to normal. I was on the pill for 2 years, then stopped, I have a new form of birth control, but my doctor said that it can take up to a year for your period to get back to normal. Good luck!

I am about five days late now. I took a home preg test on the first day if my missed period and it came out posative. I told my boyfriend and he wanted me to do another test just to make sure. I did that one the next day and it came out negative. My periods are usually regular and I have been pregnant before and I have all the symptoms. I don't want to go to my reg dr. because I blame her for the death of my premie baby. Any suggestions?????

If your first test came out positive you probably are pregnant. It is very common to get a false negative result, but it is VERY uncommon to get a false positive. You need to see a doctor to confirm the pregnancy and start getting pre-natal care.
Good luck, and congrats. I am very sorry to hear about your other child. I would find another doctor if you cannot trust the one you are seeing.

Morgan, thank you very much for your reply. I was a little concerned because I had already told my boyfriend and I didn't want him to get all excited. I will definetly make an appointment with my a NEW dr. thanks for the advice!
