I am 2 months late exactly and a little bit of nausea in the morning and some white discharge. No period or spotting whatsoever. I took 2 tests and they were negative. I already have one child and I had a positive pregnancy test with him the first time I took it. I don't understand! HELP!

can all brands of pregnancy tests see results of being pregnant 6 days after consumption, or does it vary with the brand

You'll have to wait until at least 2 weeks after conception, which would be about the time of your next period. It takes approximately 2 weeks (generally) for the fertalized egg to implant into the side of your uterus. At that point your body will start making the Human Growth Hormone. Every test is different. If you are in the United States, nearly all of the tests don't show positive until 50-100 miu. In the UK, they show positive around 20 miu (which is earlier in the pregnancy). It really depends on your body, and how fast your body starts making the hormones. I would recomend waiting 2-3 weeks and taking a home test, more then likely at this point if you are pregnant it will be positive. If it's negative, wait 1 week and take another, if that one is also negative go to the doctor for a blood test. If that is negative wait 1 more week, if you still haven't gotten your period go back for another blood test. If that's negative and you still haven't gotten your period request an ultrasound.

I had 3 IVF for one year. Last tikme I had embryo transfer on July 9.
10 days later 19 I had my cycle, it was unusual (it was the pieces of blood, when I went in the bathroom but not in my pants ). I did urine test on July 22, 26 and August 3. All of them were negative.
My period has to start on August 15, but still I don't have it. My period had never been late. Now my period is late for three days. As I see my stomach is bigger. Does it mean that I can bee pregnant? Does exists a hope yet, or it is because of hormones.

I am now 9 days late and still testing negative. I had spotting 5 days before my AF was due for about 2 days and then never got AF. I am nauseous in the afternoon, bloated stomach, fuller boobs, dizzy, salivating, tons of discharge and trust me, I have 2 children.....these are preggo symptoms. What else could they be???

I have a feeling that a lot of the symptons we are all experiencing are all in our heads. We all know the symptons of pregnancy. Now we are a few days late and suddleny we have these symptoms. If you were not looking for the symptoms would you even notice them? I think our minds tend to trick us. We need to relax, more than likely we will all start our periods.

You have stated a couple times that doctors can move an ectopic pregnancy into your uterus? I was wondering where you got that info from. I had an ectopic and I was told flat out it has been tried a couple times but never has been successful and not an option. Most ectopics result in removal by surgery or the patient is given a shot to dissolve the pregnancy. But from what I was told, you cannot just go in and have them replant it where it belongs. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!

As far as moving ectopic pregnancies, I have head of it being done, although it's not very common that it works. You are right though, the most common treatments for an ectopic pregnancy are surgery removal, or a shot to dissolve the pregnancy. About 50 women a year die from ectopic pregnancies (according to www.advancedfertility.com/ectopic.html ). That is why it is so important that you get checked if you think you might be pregnant and are getting negative test results. I got negative test results for nearly 1.5 months. My doctor convinced me this was because my period was irregular due to all of the hormonal birth control that I had been on over the last 2 years. I had stopped hormonal birth control in the beginning of May, and my period was 3 weeks late, but it was a VERY light period. In June I didn't get one. I took tests at home and at my doctors, all showed negative. My doctor finally suggested an IUD for birth control, and they are either very low does hormones or none at all. I agreed, and had an IUD put in. 5 weeks after that date, I had a miscarriage. I was approximately 2-3 months along at that point, and it is thought that the IUD aborted the pregnancy. Had the doctor to do an ultrasound to be sure, this situation wouldn't have happened, and I would be 3 months pregnant. I really feel that you know your body better then anyone. I have a 2 and a half year old son, I know what it feels like to be pregnant, but the doctor didn't believe me, and this is the situation I am in. So my advice to you ladies, if you're not getting a decent answer go to a bette doctor. Also, if you can, see a midwife, they are MUCH more likely to sit down and discuss everything with you, and look at everything rather then only what medical tests can prove.

can a girl get pregnant if she have sex 2 days after her period?

Well, I've spoken to a lawyer, and legally, it would be an up hill battle. The doctor's office technically did what they were supposed to do, they did a pregnancy test before inserting the IUD. And then after my miscarriage, the ER did a test to check the levels of Human Growth Hormone in my system, and it was under 10, which said that I probably wasn't pregnant. It's just a crazy situation, I think it would have been a lot worse if I had known that I was pregnant.

I have been on birth control for 5 years and stopped taking it at the beginning of june, while i was not sexually active. I had a regular period in june and then another regular period in july. I then had sex Aug. 2nd which was 16 days after my last period started. I took birth control pills for 5 days after i had sex, but before i was supposed to get my period (i hoped that this would cuase me to get it). I am normally on a 28 day cylce and was supposed to start my period on monday aug 15th. I took a test on tues and another one today and they both cam up negative. i am really scared becuase i am not ready to have a child right now. It has been 17 days since i had sex and i am experiencing normal cramping like i get during my period, but no period....... is it possible that i am pregnant, or am i just causing myself to miss my period becuase i am stressed about being pregnanct?

OK, I was on hormonal birth control for 2 and a half years, when I stopped by doctor said it could take 6-12 months for my period/cycle to get back to normal. It is possible that you are pregnant, but since you took birth control pills after you had sex in August you're probably not. The "Morning After Pill" is basically a higher dose birth control pill, that fact that you took pills after having sex is the same as you having taken the morning after pill. As long as you starting taking the birth control pills within 5 days of having sex, you're probably safe. Stop stressing and wait. Take a home test if you want, but I'd wait a week and see what happens. If nothing take a home tests and/or schedule a doctors appointment. Many of your quesitons can be answered by the doctor better then anyone here can answer them.

Just letting u guys know I finally went to the doc and got a blood test. Doc didnt want to give it to me because of my negative urine tests but the nurse was more sympathetic and convinced him. Will have my results by next Thursday. Please pray 4 me.....

yeah it could be a hormonal imbalance because I thought I was pregnant last year and all 4 of the tests I took came back negative. I went to the hospital and they tested to see if I was pregnant and come to find out I wasn't. The doctor told me that the reason why my period could have stopped was because of a cist on my ovaries or my hormones were unbalanced. He then sent me to a woman's doctor and come to find out my hormones were unbalanced. The doctor then put me on birth control to regulate my periods. She put me on birth control for 6 months and then I was off them. My periods however have not been regular since last year. So if I ever do end up pregnant, I won't know for a long time.
