Hi Faye. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one. I have missed my period for two months now. I had cramping the first time my period was supposed to start, but nothing happend. I have been feeling tierd and a bit dizzy at times and my breasts are huge. I did a blood test and three pregnancy tests, but they were all negative. I am going to see my doc end of this week. Hope u find the answer in here somewhere. Goodluck

I am having the same problem. I am ten days late. Having multiple symptoms and after taking a few tests : ALL negative. Whats the deal?

My mom lost her right tube and ovary after I was born because of cysts. My brother and sister were born 13 months apart, after me. My mom was then pregnant 2 more times after that, but lost the pregnancies due to miscarrage. It is possible for you to be pregnant. They told my mom the same thing, and then BOOM 2 kids 1 year apart. Good luck!

nicky hi a month ago i was in the same both with everyone. for three months did not have an period until this month i had ovulated and then on the 13th of this month my period came down. but two day before that i had douche and the next afternoon i seen some pinkish on the tissue and the next morning there it was. but most doctor will tell you that about the fourth month your period will come or some times six month if you not pregnant. just give it time and it will come.

if i only lost the one side it would be one thing but the other tube is completely pinched off. they couldnt even get dye through. i was told that it would be a one ina billion chance of gettingpreg and if i did it would be another one in a billion that it would e in my uterus. the main reason im concerned is my history. i have some symptoms, like sore breasts, hedaches, and bery tired and have NEVER missed my period unless i was preg, but every time it ended in either niscarriage or tubal preg. i saw fertility specialist for years. im concerned because i dont want ot lose the other tube. and quite frankly i dont know if i can handle another disappointment/tragic preganncy. i would be about 5 and 1/2 wks if i was preg. where did you hear that thye could reimplant a fetus? everytime i have requested it they told me that they cant do it. i hope that one day they do start trying. its like i tell the drs ive seen its worth a shot, a small chance of sving the pregnancy is better than the alternative. i have issues with drs, they never listen, i wouldnt have lost my tube if they would hae listened to me. i told them it felt like the rest and they just told me to wait and see, well i did and lost y tube because of it. drs go by the textbooks. im in my early 30s and i think i know my body better than they do. was it you that said your mom had neg hpt and blood test but ultrasoud showed a normal preg? i know i saw one lady that didnt show she waspreg on tests until she was 8 weeks. i neer had this prob before but im sooooo confused since i do know how pregnancy effect my ody and i do feel preg but the test says neg. i would just go to the doctor but i dont have insurance now and they cost a small fortune and they never listen toeverything you tell em. my insurance wont start for 3months either and thts too long if it is a tubal.most people i talk to (nurses) agree with e, and have said with my past i should be concerned. thanks for you inout and anyother info or advice is appreciated.

My mom lost one of her tubes shortly after I was born. Seven years later my sister was born, and 13 months after that my brother was born. With my brother my mom didn't show positive blood or urine tests until around 4 months, when they finally did an ultrasound. When I was pregnant with my son the urine test showed positive 2 days before my missed period. Back in May I started having irregular periods and I took test after test, which all showed negative. I felt pregnant, but none of the doctors believed me because of the tests. They said it was because of the hormonal birth control that I was on previously. My husband and I want to wait at least 1 more year before we add to our family, so I had an IUD inserted. 1 month after the IUD was placed I had a miscarriage. I had been pregnant, but since the urine tests showed negative no one believed me. I lost the baby as a result of the IUD being inserted. If you think you might be pregnant, go to the ER and request an ultrasound to be sure it's not in your other tube. As for moving ectopic pregnancies, I really don't remember where I read that. All I know for sure is that some doctors were looking into trying to see if it was possible. Good luck with everything!

nicky i hope you dream come true and i will pray for you and your family. my dream was to have another baby but that's long gone my boyfriend have someone else pregnant

Corinne - August 30th, 2005 1:24 AM

For the past 2 years since I miscarried I've had an irregular cycle...sometimes my period comes every 2 months, sometimes every 3, sometime I hemorrhage for 2 weeks straight. The last time that happened was March. Now I'm 5 months past that and no period of any kind. If i'm prego, I have to be around 8 weeks. I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago at my dr. office, it came up positive. I took one again today to be sure (same test at the dr. office)....now it says Negative. Glad to see others in the same boat with the false preg test results.

thanks for your input. did they tell your mom that the other side was blkd? im so sorry to hear about your ordeal witht he moron doctors that just go by the tetbooks as i said before. i wouldnt wish losing a child, unborn or not on my worst enemy. it ripps you heart out. every time i had to go through it it was pure torture. i apreciate the idea of the er but without insurance thatll be about 2 grand. they are even more expensive then a reg dr. im thinking of going to planned parenthood in a week and if it omes up neg and i dont start then ill have no choice but to go to the dr and eat the cost. hope theyll except payments, lol. isnt amazing that with some pregnancies the test will show before you even miss a period and others can take weeks and on rare occasion they never show positive and only alternate testing show you. i read in a medical magazine where a woman that happened to be a nurse was preg and didnt even know, no symptoms, baby hardly moved, and all tests came up neg. the one day she delivered in her bathroom. i figure if i keep freakingout about it ill go crazy so im going to stay on top of it but not stress any more than i have to. thnks again. any more advice is appreciated from you or anyone else.

shanna to corinne - August 30th, 2005 2:34 AM

i dont mean to make you fell wose about the situation, but rarely is a positive test result wrong, only negative. it is possible that you are having a miscarriage/early miscarriage. iwould have your dr do a blood test, quant levels and one week later have another if it is higher that 100 the first time to se if gets higher or drops down on the second visit. if it goes down then that would tell you that you had a miscarriage. good luck

shanna to nicky - August 30th, 2005 2:40 AM

good luck with the test, hope you get the answer you want. keep us posted. if it comes up neg again are you going to request an ultrasound to make sure cause like morgan said her mom was 4 months with neg blood and urine test and ultrasound showed a bun in the oven:) again good luck

shanna to renee - August 30th, 2005 3:55 AM

wht happened? did the blood test show positive or neg? hang in there! i know its frustrating but stick with your gut, if you feel you are and dont start dont let anyone let you just shrug it off. make sure nd get an ultrasound if you have to. good lck

Amira to Morgan - August 30th, 2005 10:08 AM

Morgan,
I heard about how u said ur mom did not have positive blood tests, I was just wondering, did she take a quantative or a qualative one? I took a quantative and got a negative but still feel like i may be so i was curious as to who else is going through that.

Morgan to Amira - August 30th, 2005 4:18 PM

My brother is now almost 15 years old, so she's not sure which it was. When I lost my baby I was about 12-14 weeks along, and my blood tests were negative, as well as many urine tests. Even 4 hours after loosing the baby the blood test showed the hormone level in my blood at less then 5. And that is too low for a urine test to pick up and too low for a doctor to consider a positive pregnancy result. I really feel that you know your body better then anyone else, even a doctor. Doctors rely on tests that are not 100% accurate. Mistakes are made. If you are aware of your cycle and your body, there is no reason for you not to know you are pregnant, even with negative results. But be aware that many women who have ectopic pregnancies show negative results, so be careful!
