I posted a while back. I think i can accept that I'm not preg. I have had all the symptoms including a white discharge and a soft cervix and the whole yard, but even now, at approximately 16 weeks (if i was), tests are still negative, as of three days ago. I have gained weight but I think thats more due to my lack of energy and not exercising than anything. Hope things turn out god for the rest of ya!

For those of you with missed periods who aren't going to the doctor, you REALLY need to go. If you are pregnant by not getting medical treatment you can be putting your baby at risk. With my son, who is almost 3, the urine tests were positive 2 days before I was supposed to get my next period. So I thought if I was pregnant again, it would be the same. Well, it wasn't. I took approximately 10 urine tests, all negative, in about a 3 and a half months time frame. I ended up getting an IUD placed, because the hormonal birth control was making me gain A LOT of weight. Again, the test before getting that done was negative. about a month later I had a misscarriage. I was probably a little over 3 months along. Had I requested an ultrasound, this never would have happened. It breaks my heart to think this might happen to one of you. I can't even begin to explain how devestated I was and still am. I've decided to get the IUD removed because it's too much of a reminder of what I've lost. We are planning to start trying to convieve again in November, and we're trying for a girl this time using the Sheltes method. Good luck to all of you. And remember, don't put off going to the doctor, and request an ultrasound just to be sure, your life may be at risk.

morgan hi ok three months ago i didn't have an period. but on august 13 my period finally came and now it the 16 of sept and my period haven't came. so can you help me out on my problem. my period was med and last the whole five days. took test and everything is ok. all i want to know is what is wrong with my body. i'm just 25 with two kids.

Wow.... just like everyone, I am suffering with the same problem. I had a m/c 4 years ago and since then unable to conceive. I was elated to discover that my period was late - only by 9 days thus far (just some minor spotting 13 days ago). I took some hpt but they were -, but the test were expired, so I thought for sure the doctor's test would be +, however it was -, the doctor sent me for blood work yesterday and I am scared. I have all the symptoms (tightening uterus feeling, fatigue, nausea, and breast 'aches') but no sure answer. Any suggestions?

mow manu days can i miss my period for stressing?

Morgan - September 17th, 2005 2:10 PM

I would really like everyone to be aware that they should not use what they are told here as medical advice. I've noticed that many of the women are putting off going to the drs. And that can be dangerous, even deadly. If you have an ectopic pregnancy, many times the hormone level isn't very high, and ectopic pregnancies can be dangerous to you. My suggestion is this, if you've waited over 1 month, you NEED to see a doctor. You need to rule out other factors that may be causing your period to be late. I wish you all good luck.

morgan i went to the doctor and they took some testes but theres nothing wrong. they didn't take pregnance test because i told them i took one and came out neg. i'm not having any preg systems at all. i just want to know whats going on

Morgan to Mary - September 18th, 2005 6:08 PM

I'm so glad you went to the drs. At least you know there's not a problem. It's hard not knowing what's going on with your body. How old are you, are you close to menopause? Also, have you been on hormonal birth control lately? Coming off of hormonal birth control can make your period crazy, it can take up to a year before your period and cycle get back to normal. Good luck!

mary - September 18th, 2005 8:28 PM

morgan i'm just 25 year old and i been on birth control only one time because of an cyc on my right ovary. but that been about three to fuor years ago.

Amira - September 18th, 2005 8:30 PM

Dont know if you guys remember me but i'm still worried...my past 3 periods have been very light..this one that I am on now is spotting and i dont think it will last longer than 2 days. I am going to ask the doc for another blood test tomorrow. So far all urine tests and one blood test are negative.

Nicole - September 19th, 2005 2:25 PM

I'm 10 days late and have all the same symptoms as you do but have only gotten negative hpt's. I'm going to wait one more week to make a doctor's appt.
