Hi!! I need help! I'm not using any BC and we had sex on my "ovulation" days, and now i'm a week late, only slight blood coloured discharge but so little it's barely worth mentioning, no period symptoms AND no pregnancy symptoms. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests ...2 First response and one WAl-Mart brand and they are all Neg....there is every chance i'm pregnant...but why are the tests negative???? this is screwing with my brain....i think my period is coming and i get depressed that it didn't take this month and THEN it doesn't come but i get neg tests!!! My mom said this happend to her when she was preggo with me. she said she had 2 urine and 1 neg blood test...but here I am...guess she WAS pregnant....could having low pregnancy hormone be genetic??

Bethy, I have the same situation. I would be 9 weeks now, and no positive tests. my doctor won't give me a blood test because my hpt's are neg. I have all the symptoms but sore bbs and throwing up. My mom told me she was throwing up with me since day one, but did not test positive until about 3 1/2 months. I am keeping my finger crossed that it can be genetic . . . for both of our situations. Please keep me updated. I woud love to find out what you learn and I would be more than happy to give you all of my personal experience to help you. Yvette

Hey Guys, I am now 10 days late on my period and test negative everytime. I always have my preiod on time every month. I know how all of you are feeling..im assuming very anxious :)

Thanks Bethy I wish you luck. It's so hard when you really feel you are but you can't get a definite answer. It's hard to trust when your doctor says no and your gut says yes. I'll be thinking about you on Monday. Good Luck! Yvette

You know what is bothering me? I try to talk to my friends and my boyfriend about this and NO ONE BELIEVE ME...they assume that because the tests have been negative, i'm being stupid for thinking I stil might be pregnant....I have no support...boy will they feel bad if it turns out I am:). but seriously...i have no one to talk to about my feelings because they all think the final authority on whether or not your pregnant is the over-the-counter pregnancy test!!:(

hey ladies, i was reading through your thread and i totally understand what you're going through. i just went through the same thing. i started feeling like i was crazy because no one believe me that i was pregnant but i just felt like i was (this is my first pregnancy so i don't know from previous experience what it's like). i think God gives every woman intuition and you should trust it! my obgyn told me that my cycle was messed up and i should take 2 pills every day instead of one (yes, i was on bcp's when i got pg) and if i would have listened i would have lost the baby. anyhow, i just tested positive this past week and i think i'm between 8 and 10 weeks (not sure because we weren't trying so i wasn't tracking closely) so my first appt is in 2 weeks and i'll find out then for sure. don't give up hope but don't try to obsess about it either.

oh yeah, if you're a test-a-holic like i was (10 weeks is a lot of pregnancy tests!) i highly recommend going to accuratepregnancytests.com and they have little strips that are less than 30 cents each(depending on how many you buy. i got 30 for $17.00 and that included shipping) those tests are what i got my first bfp with and then i double checked with a name brand test. it's much cheaper and they work!

Hey, i found this website and it made me feel a whole lot more SANE! It says under "week 5" that if you test negative, wait and week and test again, that some women take 3-4 weeks to get enough hormone in their systems to test positive! yay! I'm not crazy! lol

I am with alot of you in the same boat. My period is now about 16 days late. I took a test on friday, BFN..The same day I started with what felt like m/s I had with my daughter. On top of that I've been really tired, more so the past two days even if I sleep like 8 hours I find myself drifting off if I"m just sitting around. SOre boobs, cramping. I have a docs appt coming up on friday. So I'm going to try to not test again till then. I'm about 80% sure I am pregnant. Either way I would be fine with it.

I don't really trust test either though b/c I was almost 11 weeks and 4 test later I finally got a postive when i was pregnant with my daughter.

I tried two more hpt's today and I still came up negative. I am 13 days past my expected period, and I am really anxious. I have a doctors appointment on the 16th of june, but just wish I could find something out before then. I don't know what preganancy nausea feels like, but sometimes I just feel icky, and usually when I eat it helps. It is so good to know I am not going through this alone, because it can be very frustrating.

hello everyone, i was reading the posts and alot of you are having the problems i am having. i am 2 months late and have taken 4 home tests all have come back negative. i am going to the doctors tomorrow to ask about this, i have many of the symptoms. and am a bit confused as to why i have the symptoms but am very late.

This is just so irritating im 17 days late and got a negative hpt today.The only pregnancy symptom i have is sore boobs. i think im gonna give it a week and then go to the doctor.

Hey ladies. Just updating you. I went to the Doctor today. got ANOTHER negative test. She was very understanding and has told me to come back in 2 days and test again, and then if i'm still negative she wants me to come back every week until I get a period. She says it sounds like i have every chance of being pregnant minus the positive test. She was soo nice about it, totally didn't make me feel crazy at all. Thank god for Canadian health care, or there is no way I could afford to go to the doctors every week like that!!!
