Wow, it's nice to feel like I'm not the only one. After reading through this forum suddenly I'm all hopeful that yes, maybe I could be pregnant! I had a brownish-pink light discharge around about 6 days after having unprotected sex and I thought it was my period but it didn't actually come. Now my period is over a week overdue (I am very regular!) but after having about a million hpt done, ALL have come back negative and it's diving me crazy! There's no signs that my period is on it's way, but I'm also worried it could be due to an ectopic pregnancy as that would explain why the tests haven't picked up the hcG levels (as typically in an ectopic pregnancy there are lower levels of hcG). I'm also concerned that I may have had a missed miscarraige. That would be sad but I really need to know whether I'm pregnant or not!! Argh! Also, I was wondering if diuretics could give a false negative result due to the excess urine production? Help!!

my period is normally regular, but this month i am over 3 weeks late. i took a hpt and that was negative. i dont know what to do. i am a newly wed and we have not been using protection. i have all the signs of pregnancy. i wish i just knew for sure.

hello, I have NEVER missed a period and i am 2 months late. my last cycle was in june it is now SEPT. 7th 2006 i have taken 5 first response tests ALL negative. what is the deal here??? im not sick i feel like normal...if anyone has an answer PLEASE PLEASE let me know what you think i am going to the doc next week but i would still love to hear your advice GIRLS:)

I am a week late and still getting negative tests too. I have been so tired, and this nagging low back ache. I have had this wierd spotting too. I tis really ligh tno need for a panty liner or anything. Good luck, let me know what they say!

If you think that you are pregnant a hpt can show negative and you still be pregnant I say take the blood test

i cant see a preg test coming up negative after being late two months, there shoul be tons of hcg in you by now to be detected on any HPT. id go to the docs and get blood work or something to figure out whats going on

well i went to the doctor and im not pregnant....she said you can miss periods from alot of weight gain or loss..and blood sugur or stress or it could be a sign of a thighroid prob. i dont know what mine is yet i need anouther blood test....i only took a blood test for to see if i was prego. but she said she is going to put me on a pill to make a period then i need to go back on birth control.....to regulate it. i had to get a pap smear and everything ahhhhh dont like those lol

they say spotting may be a sighn of pregnancy

the best advice i can give after neg at home tests is GO TO THE DOCTOR SOON just cuz you miss alot of periods does not mean you are pregnant. alot of the time.

stephaniers86 that is pretty common and normal but advice is get on birth control it will regulate your period you will get it same time and day each month. thats about all your doctor will say also the best birth control to be on is ortho trycyclin low.

i have a very important question....my period was due 3 days ago and it came 3 days ago but VERY light and change in color (dark red to dark red - brown) i was thinking it might be implantation bleeding but i have used 4 pregnancy test and all of them have said negative so i dont know what it could be...i take medicine for migraines coudl it be that(topamax and atenlol)?

I am ttc so I am not on b/c anymore. but I did take them when I was 16 prescribed by my dr to regulate my period. Thanks for the advice

I will be seeing the doctor next week to see if there is something wrong with me. I wonder how come I missed my period for almost two months, then I got it, and now i'm late for this month. Makes me wonder. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thanks!
