i've STILL got negative hpt but NO PERIOD
went to see gp ....said it was probably early miscarige but there has been absolutely NO blood and nothing more than a few cramps here and there....
going to take another htp on christmas day- praying for bfp this time! if not ...will go back to doc in new year to see what on earth is going on!

I am 8 days late an so far had 3 hpt all negative..:-( With my first pregnancy I had positve results within 4days after missed period. Right now I am a little confused. Tomorrow I'll have blood test so fingers crossed.

am ringing to dr to try sort out bloods in the morning

hey ladies, im the same. my period is 5 days late but the hpt's and blood test were all neg. ive been eating heaps, im feeling nausious, my aeriolas are massive, im getting pains in my stomach, headaches, feeling woosy, not sleeping much but always tired. and im just confused..

I had the same experience, took multiple tests, went to Dr. all negative. A week late took another hpt, this time positive. Weird?? Anyone know how to figure out due date when missed last period?

Hmm..seems like I'm just another with the same problem only mine is a bit different, and a little more personal. I accidently got pregnant back in september and with no family support or support from the father i decided an abortion was the way to go (sorry if that offends anyone but it was a very heart wrenching choice and i dont intend on doing it again!) anyways, since then (oct. something) i believe i had a very light period sometime in november, then starting taking BC in early december, but i was a bit careless with it and had a few unprotected incidents and now it is early Jan. and i haven't taken my BC since well before christmas (about dec. 16 maybe?) and i never bled, never got anything like a period at all and for a while i was experiecing pregnancy symptoms so i took a test on monday and the results read negative....since then, the symptoms have subsided and are not really present any longer...i plan on taking one more test sometime over the weekend to make sure it's still negative but i still dont have my period so it worries me...should i go see my doctor over the weekend??

becciliz....what hpt test did you use?? I have heard that some are more sensitive than others. I hvae used First Response with no luck.

Nice to know i'm not the on;y one going through this. Iwent off BC mid september...had my period regularly (End of September, end of October, end of November)...was supposed to get it on Christmas & didn't. I took First Response HPT monday before xmas..negative. Monday before New Years another...Negative. Another Mon Jan 5th..negative. I have all common symptoms other than morning sickeness. I went fo a blood test otday, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Hi girls, I am new here ! My last period was Nov 23rd and haven't had one since , but i've taken 4 preg. tests and all say neg.! I've been using first response, is there a different brand that is more sensitive? It's almost been 2 months and im really anxious to find out either way!

Happy I'm not the only one. Last period was Dec 4th. I'm 8 days late. We're ttc. Did 5 tests. All negative. I feel pregnant. Or at least different. My last pregnancy showed a positve the day my period was to start. I feel like a wacko. I just need to know.

danielle1234 i used a 10miu test from ebay. first response are only about 20miu, which although is 5 less than others like clearblue, its not nearly as sensitive as the ones there- plus they are loads cheaper...which is handy at times when you're not sure whats going on.
turns out i had an early miscarrige - but we'll keep trying :'(
lisa.... to be honest what your experiencing is probably to do with the bc- the differences in hormones in different birth controls can effect you in this way....don't worry too much over things.
the problem is , with this being stressful stuff, that can also have an effect on why you're not getting your period- what a nightmare!!!
I'd really recommend getting some sensitive ones from ebay....cheaper and better

Hi Girls. I wrote on this thread back on May 5, 2006 and since then I did become pregnant and I currently have a wonderful 7 month old. When I finally did become pregnant (a year and a half after my original post) I got several negative results before getting a faint positive (thus answering my own question on my post).

Hey everyone. I am new here. Also having the same problem. Just about 2 months late now. I came off the pill in mid Sept. had a reg period sept 13th, oct 15th, and nov 14th. No period since. Taken countless tests of all kinds and still a negative result. Do yall have any suggestions?

hi everybody.. my last period was 6th December 08. i dont kno wat to do, ive been doin so many pregnancy test n it turns all negative. wat shud i do? my appointment to the dr is due this saturday. shud i wait n c if im pregnant?? or am i ill? is it somthin that happen to most women?? help
