So i just finished taking my last pill of clomid yesterday. I feel so much better today...was extremely emotional and irritable ha ha. Now we just have to have lots of sex! ha ha. Here's hoping it works!

i have also started my clomid today is last pill.... when i saw ur comment i was so excited to tell that i am on same way.. plz share ur thoughts with me in future... my dr has called me on day 11 for checkup...when u will go ? up-date me....and any suggestions?every other day sex is ok?chances are good to concieve?

I have an appointment on July 6th (day 23 of my cycle) for progesterone blood work to tell if the clomid actually worked and made me ovulate or not. I was told by my doctor that we should have sex every other day if possible, but at least every 3rd day. We are going to do that from now all the way up until I start my next cycle. I have no clue when I will ovulate and I don't want to take any chances.

I read somewhere that it's best to have sperm waiting for the egg and sperm stays alive in your system from 24-72 hours.

In my case I wasn't ovulating at all before so I have about the same chances as any "normal" couple trying to conceive naturally...which is around 25-30% I believe. It may be higher percentages for someone that does ovulate naturally and is taking the clomid as a "boost".

What have been your side effects on the clomid and how many mgs are you on?

They started me on 50mgs and if my blood work says that it didn't work then they will push my dosage up until I have a positive ovulation from the clomid. My OBGYN said that once I have 3 positive ovulation cycles on the clomid, if I'm still not pregnant then I will have to go to a fertility specialist.

This will be (if the clomid works) my first pregnancy. I got married at 27 (turned 28 a week after) and now I am turning 30 this year. We have been actively TTC for over a year now.

good to see ur post.. i am taking 50mg... i have 2 kids elder is 7+ and other is 3....i like big family so i want to have 3rd one.. i was trying for 4 months so now i had some tests Lh FSH and testosterone... Lh fsh are normal.... wat is testosterone?? u know it?its normal range is 0.1 -- 0.9 mine is 0.2 dr gave me clomid......u have any idea that do i have any hormonal prob..

Here is some information, pasted below, that I found on the web about testosterone--typically it's called the "male hormone" but females produce it too...but it looks like you are in the normal range for testosterone levels as far as what you wrote in your post.

"Testosterone is the principal androgen, or male sex hormone, although it appears in both genders. In both men and women, testosterone is produced in the gonads, and it is derived from cholesterol."

"Testosterone levels can rise in women because of tumors that develop in the ovaries or PCOS."

I'm no doctor so I couldn't tell you if you have a hormonal problem but that would be a good question to ask your doctor when you see him/her again.

Hi there, if you think you are pregnant, go with your instincts. My period was 2 months late before my HPT came up possitive, i even did 2 blood tests and they were both negative. My last period was april 24th, I didnt get a posstive test until June 12... and im still pregnant.. I must have done 15 tests in 2 months, and still waiting for that period to show up... And the dr kept telling me that blood is always acurate.. Well I was soo happy to tell my dr. I TOLD YOU SO!! this is my third pregnancy, i know what being pregnant feels like, and you just know.. Its your body.. So dont give up yet until you get an ultrasound done and it shows there is a baby or there isnt.. or you get your period.. even then, id still ask for an ultrasound as some ppl do get there periods throughout.

I am in the same boat! I was beginning to think that I had that "false pregnancy" thing...where you think you're pregnant and you grow a belly and everything, but no baby inside. weird huh?
So, my last period was june 9, and nothing for over a month now. I have been gaining weight, sickness at night (I get morning sickness at night) weird food aversions, food cravings, boobs hurting, lots of clear discharge, cramping every day for weeks (that just stopped yesterday) no spotting, no nothing. Super smell abilities....but all neg. pregnancy tests. Even had a negative blood test at planned parenthood 3 weeks ago! I am going to see my OB coincidentaly for my yearly exam Tuesday, so I guess I will get some answers then. I hope. Because 9 months from now, if I have a big belly with nothing inside...that is going to be awfully strange.

I too have not had a peroid since June 11th. All my test have been neg. I have these symptoms...discharge increasing, sick at my stomach, constipation, heartburn, weird hunger, can't stand the thought of ranch dressing which i usually love, feel bloated, emotional, and so on. I just feel preg. I have a 2 year old so I know what this feels like. I have thought oh i missed my peroid i may be preg in the past, but after the neg test that was the end of it. Not this time, you know.

Well, just got back from dr. yesterday, and he said not pregnant. he said all the symptoms I was having were just my desire to have a baby and my mind making it all up. he said I didn't have a period because I am not ovulating. So, he ran a full bloodwork and will call me in a day or two with results.....

Nice to not be alone!! I am cramping and have nausea, Dizzyness, backaches and feel way fatter and am almost 2 weeks late. I am so tired and have to pee all the time which I never do! My test said negative but there was a faint partial Line too...maybe evaporation line? We were "pulling out" but wouldn't be sad if it was a baby....I just want to know!!! I wish pregnancy symptoms were different than periods! Good luck!!!

Hey everyone. its been a while since ive been on here.. I just thought i'd give you all an update on my situation. It turns out that i had cysts around my ovaries which was causing irregular periods and pregnancy symptoms. it stuffed me around for a while. but i would like to let you all know that i found out friday that i am pregnant. only a few weeks though. so good luck to everyone who is trying to get preg, and i hope the rest of you ladies figure out whats going on with your bodies.

I had about 3 hours of spotting a week before my due period and then a single day of bleeding 5 days after I was supposed to get my period. (my usual is 4 and 5 days like clockwork). My breasts are really tender, Im nauseous, Im dizzy and lightheaded, and ridiculously hungry, irritable, it feels like there is a small balloon inflated in my abdomen.
I took a test when I was spotting, one a few days after the missed period, one a week later, and then one this morning and my symptoms wont go away. Ive been to the hospital and they said it was muscular pain and shooed me away, and my doctor said "oh the hospital probably did everything right, you should be fine."
Am I INSANE!? I've never missed a period before and something just feels different inside but everything says Im not pregnant but there are no other answers that a doctor is willing to give me... someone help me?

Well I recieved my period july 13th so now I'm hoping to see what happens. I ovulated between July 24 to the 30. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'm gonna take a pregg. test Aug. 11th

ok so in my previous post i was going to the doctor to find things out and well i got AF... I only hadi t for 2 days though (my ususal is 6-7 days) and since then I have not gotten AF. I have had 2 days of spotting one about 2 weeks ago and one last week. I have all the symptoms of pregnancy. I am having night sickness, breasts are tender, strong sence of smell, food cravings and adversions, i am always tired, my lower back is killing me and i have to pee all time!! I have all these symptoms but i have had numerous negative pregnancy tests... so yet again i am going to the doctor I have an appointment August 3rd. The last pregnancy I had I didnt find out i was pregnant til i was almost 5 months along... so I am hoping i get some good new here soon!!! I will keep you all updated!
