well ladys, i went to the doctors 2 weeks ago and they did a ultra sound and i was not preg, it was very disappointing to here that..a few days after my scan my doctor called and said she reviewed my scan and wants to do testing for Poly cystic Ovary Syndrome, apparently i fit the symptoms, weight gain,no period , not ovulating and i have had alot more acne than normal and sometimes i get strange pains in my pelvis.. i no nothing about Poly cystic Ovary Syndrome and im hoping some of you can help me out,,,my husband and i are wanting to have another baby but are you able you get pregnant with Poly cystic Ovary Syndrome ??? i really hope i do not have it, and is it cure able???? please help me

Hey you all sound like me I'm going on ten days late and have taken two test both negative. Its so frustrating because I feel like crap. I'm tired my boobs hurt and I have to pee all the dam time. Ya all let us know how the doctor visit goes.

Thank u motherof1babygirl, I am hoping that it's not something serious.There is still no sign of AF. I don't want to start imagining symptoms. If I am not preggie then AF might as well come. now.

so to update, i am now 18 days late for my period. hpt still comes back negative. new symptoms include headaches, tender nipples, extreme fatigue, 5 pound weight gain, frequent urination, and i get hungry more often. please help me. i am only seventeen and have never experienced anything like this. i also sometimes feel light cramping, but not menstrual cramps.

bbritdenise: Sometimes when you are worried you may be pregnant your mind can trick your body into producing pregnancy like symptoms. If you are 18 days late and no positive home pregnancy test, my best educated guess tells me you are NOT pregnant. But I suggest you see on OBGYN for an ultrasound on your ovaries and uterus to make sure everything is ok, because some times if you catch things earlier (17 is pretty early) you can prevent further problems from it. When I was your age I skipped a lot and had painful periods when I did get them...My mother was VERY against me seeing an OBGYN because she said only sluts go before you are married. I found out recently I should have gone because I had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and if I would have treated it then I may not have all the problems with my ability to get pregnant now...Please make an appointment with a GOOD OBGYN. :) Best wishes!

same here.... im 15 days late. i got nausea, sensitive nipples but no darkening around the areolas,a few veins popping up that i've never seen before.sometimes i think maybe im just overthinking this... maybe im not pregnant but then the signs are a little to close for comfort.

Still no sign of AF,I am thinking of going to Dr if I miss my second AF.

p.s. my mom is taking me to the doctor on friday, if they find that im pregnant will they tell her without my consent?? i really dont want that. :-\

hi bbritdenise no the doctor cant tell your mum if you were pregnant that is just between you and your doctor

hi everyone just thought i would give an update well at long last i got a proper period so i guess my mind was playing tricks on me ive to get my scan done at the end of the month just to see whats going on will keep you all updated

lucy... glad to hear tht u finally found an answer by having proper AF, now dont have to worry if v r pregnant and start trying again. As of me, i m fine, having regular AF again.

hi all just thought i would give an update well ive had a period but iv started to feel lots of movement my stomach is still like a preg stomach my hubbie has felt the movement to so its just not me going crazy as he can feel it to it really does feel like a baby moving and kicking ive lost about half a stone which i was very surprised at but my stomach is still big and round and my cloths dont fit me went to my doc he said could be ibs or sys on my overyies well i go for my scan next week will keep you all updated i will be glad to solve this mystery as to what is going on

forgot to say if there is a baby in there it would be 29 weeks and it would be breach as thats what it feels like the head digging into my ribs

hi honeybun ano i cant wait till next week ive went off my food and cant sleep at night i just put it down to worry as to what can be wrong ive been surfing the net and looking and reading on things it might be even fatom pregnancy if it is that i just pray for women going through fantom pregnancys as its been hard on me and im not trying
i think if there was a baby in there i would be ok with it as ive got used to the feelings and laughted the other day ive only 10 weeks left either way fatom or real pregnancy or mybe a big sis on my overey
