My Pregnancy Test Said Negative.is It Right?

me and my boyfriend of four years had sex on thursday night unprotected...
when he said he was about to come i got off and then he said to me false alarm...
well people are telling me to never listen to a guy no matter if they say false alarm they could be lying.
i started my period last month on the 24th and ended it on the 28th...
i took a pregnancy test today before work it was a clear blue test...
could it be right or could it be wrong?

If you're talking about this last Thursday then its way too early to take a Hpt ..If you're talking about the Thursday before you started your period on the 24th then there was enough time for a HPT to detect pregnancy and if it says -ve then it probably is, take a blood test if you're in doubt. Also, if you got off because you're trying to avoid pregnancy, then you should probably use a condom as well, the withdrawl method isnt a 100% reliable, it minimizes your chance but there's still about 75-80% chance you might get pregnant..so that's something to think about..good luck!

Correction..
Im sorry i meant to say the withdrawl method reduced your chance by 75-80%, so there's a 20% chance you can get pregnant using this method..
