I had 3 neg blood test within the 2 months. My last real period was Feb 8. (make me 23wks preg) and I got myself a doppler and I found the heartbeat at 122-126BPM. I still have neg test but the heartbeat make me feel more pregnant now. But I have to go Aug. 3 to check the baby and me and hope I get my first ultrasound.

Thank you so much for your post. I feel very encouraged by your story because I was starting to think it was all me. I actually read an article today about "Phantom Pregnancy" and I was starting to doubt myself but your story gives me hope. Could I ask you where you got your doppler from? I wish you all the best and please keep me updated. I would really like to know how are things are going for you. God Bless You. I am hoping to get an ultrasound also really soon. I think I am going to try another hpt. I have another left so I think I will try it. It kinda gets a little disappointing but I have to know.

ok update, so i went to a doctor and going off my last period i would be going into my 7th week witch would give me march 11th for a due date so idk still no period and still np positive test i go back the first week of august for another blood draw and also a ultra sound so hopefully i will no something, but this past week i have been super tired and my back is sore, idk if those are signs but i also have had a un easy stomach , but i should have started on july 6th and still nothing so my last period was june 6th idk its werid

7-27-09 update..say my doctor today, did another blood draw came back negative, so they did further test and my thyroid is acting up witch is why im 25 days late and having all these different signs..so im not prego, but thank you everyone for your advise and help

Blong - I got the doppler off Ebay. It was about $90 with free shipping and some will give you a little plushie keychain. Someone on the other board told me to stop taking HPT because since i'm about 24wks now it will come back negative since the HCG won't be there anymore. I now starting to look pregnant with my jeans on and shirt. I feel more movements once in a while and maybe 1-3 kicks every other days. Only a few more days till I find out for sure but mom say I am pregnant and think I having a girl. lol

update- ok so its not my thyroid, im now 28 days late, and feeling werid, my back hurts, my boobs hurt im sick randomly, and idk if this is normal but i have small cramps for the past 2 wks is that normal? but if im not pg than my period should come on august 6th if it does not come we will do a ultra sound, ??? does anyone have any advise?? or is has anyone gone through what im going through,

hey everyone, so still no period, my last period was june 6th..all my blood work says im not and all my hpt say im not too, im really confused with my body, im gaining weight, having strange flutters in my tummy, i went to the doctors last week and they even noticed my random weight gain and she got me schelduled for a ultra sound on wendesday morning! i am hoping they finally no whats wrong with me, they tested everything and everything is coming back fine...so hopefully we will have a answer

I am really glad that you are going to get some answers soon. I am going throug the exact same thing. I have had several urine and blood test and all have came back negative. I am getting bigger, I peurchased a doppler and I get a heartbeat everyday above 135. Just a couple of days ago it was 145, yesterday it got up to 139. I have a ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow morning as well. This is crazy that the doctors cannot explain this but I know we are not the only ones that this has happened to. They cannot explain it so they rather not deal with it. I finally got a doctor that said ok lets get an ultasound. I was so happy to hear that. I wish there was more informartion on why HCG levels don't rasie enough in some women to get a positive pregnacy test. You would think even if the urine s negative the blood test should be positive, but this is not always the case. Please keep us updated and I will do the same.

blong- how much was the Doppler you got? im soo glad to here your having the same issues! now i don't feel so alone or crazy ! i also am looking pregnant too, but all the results say im not but i went to the doctors last week and she said i gained 14 pds! in 3 months! so if i was pregnant, than it could be twins it runs in my family and my husbands,and every time i have a full bladder i feel strange movements or flutters, but im trying not to get my hopes up cause it seems like every time i do i get disappointing news. please do let me no what u find out in the morning, i will also post my results on Wednesday, its so strange that the doctors cant give us answers about are body's or why some woman go through this...i wish the best of luck to you tomorrow!

I was DX with PCOS in June 2009...It was a very heartbreaking thing for me to hear but I have decided I am not going down without a fight! I really believe it all depends on the situation each individual is in...PCOS can cause you to not get a period because you do not ovulate. Ovulation is non existant because the folicles in your ovaries do not mature and do not produce an egg. I had every blood test and ultra sound under the sun and even had a HSG everything else was fine just have polycystic ovaries..DH had a SA and he was on low end of normal which is ok... I was put on Clomid 50MG on CD 3-7 with a fertility monitor and bloodwork on CD 21...I have a wonderful gyno who has explained all of this to me...Girls ask questions don't let them just throw you aside...I used to say too well I think I am pregnant but in all reality there is something else going on there if you have not had a period in more then 6 weeks you are not ovulating properly and need to find out sooner rather then later what is going on...there is a website called there is no cure but definetly treatments...I just want you girls to be aware as I was not anytime you have questions let me know I would be more then happy to answer anything about PCOS I have done a TON of research on it

I am so sorry to hear of what you have gone through and is curently going through. Thank you so much for sharing your story on this site. The informaton provided can be very helpfu for others that may be experiencing the same symptoms. Doctors don't know everything and it is good to hear information from someone that knows and understands first hand. I know what you mean about not letting the doctors just brush you off. We must fight for our own emotional health as well as physical health. Going through these kind of issues can be very stressful, especially when the doctors don't have the answer. Well ladies I still did not get my ultrasound. I got all the way to the appointment only to be told my insurance wouldn't cover it and I will need to pay $600 or half which is $300 and make a payment arrangement for the rest. I don't have that kind of money right now. I even pleaded with them to let me get it and they can bill me later. Then she said we might qualify for financial assistance through the hospital and sent me home with a packet to fill out. They would not let me complete the paperwork and then do the ultasound, they were supposedly too busy so I had to reschedule. I will take the packet and documentation up there before the ultrsound day to see if we would qualify. I was very angry and disapppointed when I left that hopsital because I was so looling forward to getting the conirmation. I called the doctors office while I was there and my blood test still came back negative. So I have rescheduled it for the 23rd. Still getting a nice strong heartbeat last night between 141-148. I hope everything is going well for you all please give an update soon.

Same here...im going insane...

Two weeks late, many over the counter tests negative and one blood test (hcg) at doctors yesterday october 1st also negative. My periods are irreguloar generally anywhere from 29 to 41 days but average about 32 days... Im currently on day 45.
Ive never ever been this late before. I am taking thyroid meds so Im aware this could be interferring some.

Im tired, starving all the time, frequent urination, snappy, moody, swollen boobs but not sore. Have been feeling nauseous but no actual vomitting. (happens any time of the day not just the mornings).

Been actively trying with Hubby for a year. Hoping against hope for a positive soon.

hoping for updates...how many of you had negative blood test and how soon after did you find out your were indeed pregnant?
