rachyroo--- with my first son, i had negative blood and hpt for 8 weeks till i found out i was...and from reading many of these woman's story's they have gone through or are going through the same thing. i would give it another week and see what happens...i wish you the best of luck!

Hi Braiden09 thanks so much for writing back, I truly think Im going insane, worried it may be a phantom pregnancy...also having thyroid issues like you. My plan is to give it another week and see what happens then....I will keep you posted if thats okay.

So are you pregnant this time around? Ive been reading your posts and your situ is very similar to mine. I really hope you got the positive youve been waiting and for and wanting. Did you get as far as having the ultrasound?

Also when you say you were 8 weeks...you mean 8 weeks from day 1 of your last period right?

rachyroo-yes 8 weeks from my last period is when i found out...but this time around im not prego, i did get a ultra sound and it showed no baby:( but they did discover i have pcos witch was cause me to gain my weight and not have a period so im getting started on treatment for that this week..but with the treatment i have to use fertility pills to become prego , so were going to see what happens...dont give up till you no for sure, doctors will give you the run around and act like they dont care but push till you no....

update...so I got a Positive on a urine test two days ago...Im over the moon. So Im proof yes you can be pregnant after getting a negative blood test....thank god I did not go through with the hormones they wanted me to take.

How far along do you think you are? How long had it been when you had your negative blood test? I don't have regular periods or regular ovulation at all, so the only date I can count by is the date of actual intercourse, so if you could help me with your numbers that would be great.

Based on my last period which was Aug 19th that would make me around 8 weeks. I was four weeks when I had the negative blood result, but it is possible I caught later in the month and maybe its earlier than I think. I have a doctors appointment on the 21st so might know more then and will keep you posted.

I guess its basically every person and every pregnancy is differenr but my advice is if you have negatives wait them out. Also the tests I used were from the dollar store and they savde me a fortune weve been trying for a year.

It was a very clear positive which I believe cannot be wrong.

Congratulations! Reading your post has renewed my hope for a positive pregnancy. I have been undecided so far whether to get a blood test done after so many negatives, but I just "feel" pregnant. I hate to consider that I might not be pregnant after trying for so long to conceive. I'm so happy for you and wish you a great pregnancy!

Boosmommy I meant 6 weeks when I had the negative blood sorry I rechecked them today.

Hey everyone!! I've had 1 positive preg test on the 7th it was a faint line but deff there. I took 2 more and they were neg. I went to the doc today and had a blood test and it was neg. I feel sick all the time. I'm only a day late! Can I still be preg?

JackieM0819 from what I know which isnt much so dont quote me...I believe its not possible to get a false positive but it is possible to get a false negative especially in the early part. My advice is to wait it out a another week and test again. I had a negative blood test and they wanted me to go take hormones to bring on my period. But I waited it out and now im 8 weeks. Waiting is the worst but what will be will be. Wish you every happiness.

I had a negative blood test two weeks ago, and have had numerous negative hpts. I was having killer headaches, a lot of abdominal cramping and lower back pain as well as nauseau, smell aversions, loss of appetite, and just one day of nipple soreness, etc. Last week after hubby gave me a massage my pain went away, so I assumed that maybe it was all in my head. This weekend my abdominal pain and lower back pain and headache has come back, so I'm not sure. Maybe I'm not pregnant but there is this part of me that feels I am despite what my test are saying. By the way, it is still pretty early for me... It has been 4 weeks from my date of 'relations' :), so I am still holding out on the chance that I am pregnant. It's just discouraging when docs and tests keep saying no. I have PCOS and they want to start me back on hormones next month, but I don't want to do it until I am absolutely certain. Hopefully I will find out soon. My hubby thinks that I am.

hello everyone i am 6 days late i have done HPT every other day they all come out neg i went to do a BPT and it also came out neg i am always regular i never miss my period i fell some preg signs but i don't know if its just on my head i asked my gyno and she said that she just felt my uterus align whatever that means and she also told me to wait two months then if dosen't come to go back can you still be preg even though the BPT came out neg how long does it usually take to come out????
