My husband and I recently started trying to conceive, and I have been keeping track of my ovulation days. My period is 2 1/2 weeks late, which, in and of itself isn't a huge deal, but I have been having abnormal things going on in my body: sore nipples, cramping that I usually don't have, bloating and gas for no reason, as well as extra saliva and mucous discharge. However, two at home pregnancy tests, one urine test at the Dr.'s office and a blood test all came back negative over the course of a week. It's fine if I'm not pregnant, but why am I having these symptoms? I've read that some people imagine these symptoms, but I am not one to do that. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever had negative tests and still been pregnant. My last period was August 11-14, and I was ovulating between August 27 and September 2. If I WERE pregnant, wouldn't the tests show it by now?
