i posted a message up here a few weeks ago sayin that i might be pregnant as i had sex on my ovulation date...was having cramps and feeling sick....

I had a blood test done 5/6 days before i was due on my period and the result came back negative..

Its now 3 days late and no period..

Could my blood test be wrong? If not...is there anything u think could be stopping my period?

Thanks girls =] xx

you have never had a late period? stressing about being pregnant could be one of the reasons for your late period. Blood tests are very accurate. they are able to detect a few day pregnancy, so it's not likely for it to be wrong after couple of weeks.
relax, you're not pregnant.

also, you might want to start looking into a birth control, so then you wont have to worry or stress about late period.

would have been nice if you were a little less rude

She would have been only 8 days pregnant at the time of the blood test. I think it may have been too early. Hcg has to be atleast a 5 on a blood test to be pregnant, sometimes the egg hasn't even implanted yet at 8 days past ovulation and hcg isn't produced until this happens. I posted to you on another thread, however I don't think augustmommy was being rude just giving you advice on how to protect yourself.

rude? what are you talking about? When you go such boards and post the story like that, you should expect people commenting back! ok, keep on having unprotected sex and posting the stories about how you need help. One day it will be too late for any birth control or help.
Just trying to be helpful! you asked for opinion - you got it!

You very welcome!
