Too Early To Test???

Its been a week and 4 days since I had sex with my husband. I had sex with my husband on the 30th of August and I was suppose to start the week of the 1st of September sometime and the only thing I had was spotting brown stuff like dried up blood. I have cramping and everything. Is it too early to test or does it even add up to where I might be pregnant?
