Does Anyone Know A Good, Safe Way To Stay Active During Pregnancy?

I try and walk three/four times a week for around an hour, this is safe and it also relieves alot of boredom :)

Yoga for pregnant women, you can buy a DVD and do it at home. I bought one and did it only once. I still feel very tired after work to do that or to lazy to wake up early early in the morning before work, but if you can walking, swimming. Yoga is the best.

Walking is the safest thing to do. In general they tell you not to start a new excercise program if you weren't already doing on prior to the pregnancy. --Try asking your doc. about things if your wondering what is safe.

I was playing volleyball, basketball, soccer, you name it, up to 3 months of my pregnancy of my first child. And when my belly started to expand, I slowed down to just brisk walking, easy weights, and Kegel exercises. I think just anything that your body is capable of.... you never want to fully exert yourself in an hour of exercise or so... Should be done in moderation.

Do a search for pregnancy without pounds. It is a great ebook that you can buy and it has some really great exercises in there. Also gives you a lot of other information about what to eat how to dress and things to avoid. You also get a newsletter delivered to your email that helps you along the way. I loved it.

Yoga and swimming. Try low impact exercises, walking/running and anything where you are bouncing or putting a lot of weight on your feet is bad for your back and stomach, esp during carrying the extra weight of pregnancy and probably already suffering from a sore back, heavier breasts and stomach which needs to be looked after. :) xo
